Cute little plants for kids and newbies on planting.
    Juliann L.

All the unexpected cutie tiny stuff here! I do not have a plant in my home at all but simply attracted when walking by. Ended up skipping my trip to the restaurant next block and enjoying all the special designed plants, vases, Japanese sola cube and all the little tools needed for planting (first time seeing leaf dusting gloves hhhhh) I end up an easy-to-care Japanese tiny water aquarium. There are more sophisticated ones here too, but I am definitely new to planting so I chose this one based on the owner's suggestion. He is very knowledgeable about plants and make good recommendations! Very patient for newbies like me :)

This place is a gem! Among the many SF plant shops, this one is definitely stands out for its selection. Anthony has the usual houseplants and air plants, but also curates a really special collection of caudex plants and rare cacti that I've never seen anywhere else. He always takes the time to talk with me and answer all of my questions, and it's clear that he puts a lot of intentionality into his selection. The space itself is gorgeous and makes my brain feel calm, even though it's in a bustling area of North Beach. In addition to plants, there's a great mix of pottery, plant accessories, and even crafts like Sunprint Kits. I bought some to use at my school and the students LOVED it! Always a joy to stop by when I'm in the neighborhood :)

So lucky to find this store on google maps and yelp on my rare trip into SF! It literally specializes in everything I love: succulents/cacti specifically caudexes, and stone plants! Wide selection of modern small and medium sized pottery at really reasonable prices. Including ones with stands or with string to hang. There's in-store shopping and online pick up! Owner is super nice and will try his best to track down rare plants for you! He also explains light and soil requirements. He also threw in a packet of Joshua tree seeds, I thought that was really unique! I saw really nice euphorbia, caudiciforms, and Haworthia for sale including franscoisii with a lot of leaves, and what might be ibervillea. I really wanted the variegated euphorbia but I've already maxed out my plant budget : D There were some really cute marimo moss balls too. I'll definitely be back for more plants and pottery next time I'm in SF

I have had nothing but great experiences at this neighborhood plant store. Not only do they sell beautiful pottery and plants, but they have a knowledgeable staff that seems genuinely happy to help you. One of my plants was sick and I brought it to the store and the staff was able to diagnose and offer solutions for my plant. He even re-potted it for me! I couldn't recommend this store enough.

Neighborhood shops like this make walking around San Francisco a delight. A dreamy little space that's so nicely curated with something interesting everywhere you look: ceramics/vases of all sizes and patterns, cute illustrated cards, collectible objects. This store carries many rarer plants and cacti you wouldn't find at typical plant stores in the area. I didn't know too much about them but the owner Anthony kindly helped me find what I was looking for and answered all my questions! I'm really happy with the new plants I brought home. Everything is reasonably priced, too, so I was able to get a lovely pot to go with my plant. Definitely my new go-to plant store -- even if you're not looking to buy plants it's an aesthetically pleasing space worth checking out. Also perfect for getting nice gifts!

I wanted to get flowers from SF natives, this is a long standing, generational florist shop in Chinatown - Ed knows the city and can get your florals where you need promptly. I asked for a yellow and white spray with accents of purple and that's exactly what I got. The arrangement was lush and flowers diverse (it was a hard day), so we do not have many photos and the ones we do don't do it justice. The spray was never ending- fragrant and an obvious labor of love. My family and I particularly liked the ribbon, it was handwritten and we can keep it forever.

They've since moved to Waverly Place. These days, my florist orders are mostly of the 'get well' variety or funeral arrangements. I recently stopped in to order two arrangements for a funeral for two groups of friends. The process was easy as I gave him a budget, the information (who, when, and where), and asked him to text me photos. I forwarded them to my friends and everything was smoothly done. The owner even offered to buy me lunch, but probably more because I haven't seen him in ages. Hope you need flowers for happier occasions and better circumstances, but, for my situations, they filled my needs.

There are Spirit Halloween seasonal pop-up stores opening up soon. They say it's Halloween in San Francisco everyday but some months feels like Christmas in San Francisco. On a Summer stroll deep inside Pier 39 there is a place where it's Christmas year round. It's never too late to plan Christmas during all four seasons in San Francisco . This is not a Santa Con pop-up. Inside it's a Winter Wonderland with all the ornaments you would desire under one store. You will see San Francisco theme ornaments from San Francisco landmarks like City Hall, Coit Tower, Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco sports teams along with pop culture ornaments. Then you see the Xmas characters like Santa Claus , Nutcrackers , and the Christmas elf's. On display are some fun items for sale. The set up reflects the Christmas Holiday to the fullest. If you want to be transported for a moment to feel the Christmas vibes( without some of the cheesy Xmas music) you should give the Christmas store a visit at Pier 39 in the Tourist Trap of San Francisco.
