Plant I purchased from Savvy Nursery

Beautiful nursery with a huge selection of plants and fair prices! Left with the perfect plant to add to my collection. The gentleman working there was very kind, offered my toddler some stickers and coloring pages to keep him entertained! 100% recommend and will shop here again next time we're in the area :) thank you Savvy Nursery!

Just off the chaotic,…read moredim-sum-scented artery of Clement Street, tucked away behind a weathered gate, sits a leafy fortress of sanity. This place doesn't do the manicured, artificial perfection of a suburban big-box nursery. It's a love letter to the stubborn, magnificent flora that actually belongs here--native San Francisco evergreens, defiant flowering shrubs, and young trees reaching up through the fog. But what absolutely stops me in my tracks are the young succulents. Tiny, resilient little bastards, hoarding water and surviving beautifully on fog and salty air. Step inside the main building and the vibe shifts. It's filled with rows of heavy, oven-baked artisan pottery, glowing with earthy, utilitarian beauty. I bought a few of these heavy clay pots over twenty years ago; they've outlasted relationships, bad habits, and multiple apartments. They are still sitting in my home, unchanged, anchoring me to the past. But let's be real: this isn't a neighborhood social club. The staff here are perfectly pleasant and polite enough to listen if you start rambling, but look into their eyes and you'll see the beautiful truth--they do not give a shit about your backyard garden. Understandably so. They're here to work, not to validate your green thumb. You also need to come correct, because these plants do not come cheap. The prices are steep enough to make your wallet ache. If you don't actually know how to keep a plant alive, you might as well skip the middleman and flush your hard-earned cash straight down the sewer drain. And yet, it is worth every penny. This is my ultimate decompression chamber. A twenty-minute stroll through these expensive, silent aisles isn't just a walk--it's a tactical retreat from the grinding, everyday hustle of the city. It's a brief escape, sure. But it's enough to let the noise fade out. A true Inner Richmond treasure.

I wanted to get flowers from SF natives, this is a long standing, generational florist shop in Chinatown - Ed knows the city and can get your florals where you need promptly. I asked for a yellow and white spray with accents of purple and that's exactly what I got. The arrangement was lush and flowers diverse (it was a hard day), so we do not have many photos and the ones we do don't do it justice. The spray was never ending- fragrant and an obvious labor of love. My family and I particularly liked the ribbon, it was handwritten and we can keep it forever.

I recently stopped in to order two arrangements for a funeral for two groups of friends. The process was easy as I gave him a budget, the information (who, when, and where), and asked him to text me photos. I forwarded them to my friends and everything was smoothly done. The owner even offered to buy me lunch, but probably more because I haven't seen him in ages. Hope you need flowers for happier occasions and better circumstances, but, for my situations, they filled my needs.

This is not a Santa Con pop-up. Inside it's a Winter Wonderland with all the ornaments you would desire under one store. You will see San Francisco theme ornaments from San Francisco landmarks like City Hall, Coit Tower, Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco sports teams along with pop culture ornaments.
