Sure I could have bought a plant from any place online or a Home Depot, but when I read about how meticulously Leon and George cares for their plants and their impeccable customer service, I knew I made the right decision. I purchased my beautiful pothos about 4 1/2 years ago and never looked back. Whenever I have a question or concern, I simply snap a photo and email customer service and they get back to me within 24 hours with friendly and easy to understand feedback. Great company and people who really take pride in their customer service and exceptional plants. read more

am extremely disappointed with my experience. I purchased a very large plant that cost nearly $700, expecting a premium product and professional service. Unfortunately, the plant arrived visibly sick, with clear signs of distress and poor health. For a purchase of this size and price, I expected quality control and care. When I contacted the company to address the issue, I was met with dismissiveness and an extremely rude attitude. Instead of offering a reasonable solution such as an exchange or replacement, they refused to change the plant or take responsibility. The way I was treated as a customer was honestly more upsetting than the plant itself. For a business selling high-end plants at luxury prices, customer service should reflect that same level of professionalism. A healthy plant and respectful communication are the bare minimum expectations when spending this kind of money. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. Buyers should be cautious, especially when making large purchases. read more

The plant arrived in a broken pot, and while customer service was nice, it was a hassle to wait on the new pot and then repot it. Not the IG experience posted all over their page. I also ordered the water meter sticks because I am a novice with plants. I was doing great with my ponytail palm until a two week trip to Europe. Our house sitter overwatered it because the water stick didn't turn blue. When I came home, the plant looked a bit off. It continued to get worse. I emailed the L&G plant doctor, but she never mentioned the sickness root rot. After much research on YouTube, I found that it was root rot due to the broken water meter, and I did everything I could find on YouTube to save my plant. The plant is dead, and I asked L&G if they would offer money off a new one because I was just past the 1 year mark with this plant. They would not, so $450 down the drain. I will not order from them again. I can get a Ponytail Palm much cheaper at my local greenhouse. This company is not worth it! read more

A wonderful experience with Léon and George! My snake plant arrived at my doorstep snugly nestled in very thoughtfully designed packaging - a lot of thought and care obviously went into making sure the plant wouldn't get damaged in transit, with each layer of protection making for a safe trip to its new home. The snake plant itself looks absolutely great, being much nicer and larger than I expected, and it's really added a nice touch of green to my living room, fitting the décor perfectly. It's obvious a lot of care goes into growing these plants, making for something that's much better in quality than you'll get at the big box place with the orange lettering - and these folks guarantee the plant for 45 days, offering a replacement if the plant . The planter itself looks amazing, is quite well-made with good thickness, and when you hold it, you know it's a quality planter. If you're looking to add a little bit of nature to your home or office (or are looking for a great gift for the person who's hard to buy for), check out Léon and George's web site and enjoy the greenery! read more

I want to give some much deserved kudos to Renée!! My order was a tough one. Long story short, it took a long while to ship & once it did, it ended up with a broken pot during delivery. Needless to say, anything that could have gone wrong, did. Renée was a superstar!! I emailed Léon & George & she responded quickly. To every single one of my emails. Between checking on my order to reordering my pot, she was on top of it!! While my order was a bit of a process, Léon & George has awesome customer service, thanks to Renée!! If you have thought about making a purchase, make it. My snake plant is absolutely gorgeous. It's lush, full and a beautiful green color. I had been eyeing this plant for months & I am so glad I made the purchase [even though it took a while to get delivered & my pot broke, I would absolutely purchase from Léon & George again]!! read more

I paid 500 for a fiddle leaf that arrived in pretty ppor condition and slowly progressed gettjng worse and worse. I emailed them quickly after purchasing and they told me to contact their plant doctor who just told me to wait out as I was doing all she recommended. Never got better just continued to get worse. Bloomscape at least sends you a replacement plant if you are not happy and show them pictures of what it looks like. This company aside from beung the most expensive does mot guarantee the quality of their plants It has look like this from week one. Never improved. Very bad customer service for the proce they charge. Stay away/ easy plant and bloomscape have been way easier to deal with and better quality read more

I've ordered 5 plants from L&G. The first very large plant arrived in perfect condition. 3 of the next 4 also came in really good shape. The order took a little longer than expected, but aren't most thing's these days? The last and final extra large plant I ordered arrived broken and destroyed. Someone along the way was really rough with this thing. 2 large branches were completely broken off and the soil was everywhere almost like it was dumped upside down. The box looked like it had gotten run over by a car. It's not at all what your expecting when you pay what is most definitely a premium for a product. I contacted L&G immediately through email. One hour later I received an email from their customer service stating 'this falls in the purview of our 45 day guarantee' Without any questions or any problem they replaced the tree. A company that does things like this will keep my business. Stuff is always going to happen, but its how easy you make it for the customer that matters. Let's be honest, L&G is expensive but I think overall it's worth the cost because the products and service are great. read more

I paid $225 for Leon & George to transport my bird of paradise from one location to another, believing that they would do a better job than regular movers. My plant arrived at the second location with one of the biggest stems broken in half. I get that accidents happen and gave them an opportunity to make this right. This was their response: "After much consideration from our team, we cannot identify any rationale behind financial compensation. The snapped leaf does not endanger the plant, and it's very likely it would have eventually snapped on its own due to its weight. At this time, we recommend cutting the leaf at the base with clean shears. Another one will come in soon enough!" There was zero responsibility taken for the damage to my plant while it was in their possession. The assumption that it was "very likely" to snap in half on its own is baseless and irrelevant. In general, I expect items to be delivered undamaged, but if they are damaged, most companies will do something to correct it. NOT Leon & George. They'll tell you your item would have broken on its own anyway. read more

Horrible company. Horrible service. Beyond comprehension. I sent my husband a plant in February for his birthday. The plant arrived already damaged, and the pot in which it was sent was crushed. I notified the company immediately and included photos as evidence of the damaged plant and of the completely crushed pot. Nothing happened. Nothing. I wrote again. Nothing. A few days ago, I wrote to them again, months later, asking for the return of my money. And today - months later - my husband received an email that the pot is being replaced. We have no need of the pot. There has been nothing from the company about replacing the plant. And I have received no reimbursement. The company is the most irresponsible company I've ever dealt with. read more

I went from no houseplants at all to houseplants in one visit from Leon & George! I purchased 3 small, 3 medium, and 2 large plants from the Pet Friendly collection (due to nibbly cats) and the entire process was just fantastic. The customer service provided by Renee was responsive, helpful, and warm. I checked with the plant doctor about some cat deterrents that wouldn't hurt the plants in the days leading up to delivery and Ron offered up advice and options which have been really helpful. When the L&G van pulled up on delivery day, I was so excited! The drivers were very friendly and arrived in protective gear (pandemic). The plants were gorgeous and super healthy! I can't wait to order more plants and add to my collection. It really has transformed the living space and I love the vibe! read more

This place is a joke! I ordered a plant and after a massive delay the pot arrived shattered. I have emailed them several times, with pictures. No response - nothing! I decided I needed some lovely plant life to spruce up lockdown living and came across Léon & George. I'd never ordered a plant online, always done an in person shop, so this was a huge first for me. I'm so glad I did! They were able to help me decide which ones would be good for me and good for my Mum as a birthday gift. I purchased the Braided Money Tree and sent my Mum the same. Mine arrived in not so great condition - the pot had shattered en route and the poor plant had seen better days. Upon opening the package I got in touch with their customer service online and was immediately offered an apology as well as an offer to ship me an entirely new plant and pot given that mine was in such bad shape. The new tree arrived the next morning and was in perfect condition. It also arrived with an apology for my experience and offers to help me with whatever I might need in the future. Having this level of customer service was truly remarkable. I also got immediate help from their plant doctor when I was worried about my first tree that I'm trying to keep alive. Got an answer within a day and feel so grateful for having found a company that really takes pride in their work. You can see it in ever detail - from the packaging to the service and the weekend plant tips that come regularly. You're not just purchasing a house plant and that's it - you get an entire support system to make sure you and your plants continue to thrive long after your purchase and that is quite special. I highly recommend L&G to any and everyone looking to bring plant babies into their homes, whether you've got a green thumb or not, this is the place to start! read more

Delivery was smooth and pleasant. Large snake plant arrived in lush condition and brightened up the room. Excellent experience with ordering, communication and delivery. LOVE my new large Dragon plant!

I wanted to add some greenery to the interior of my home. I live in a relatively remote area, and it's a long drive to shop for plants and attractive planters. So, I checked out the web and found Léon & George. The images of their plants were very appealing, and I liked the simplicity/elegance of the planters. So, I took a chance and ordered a large plant with pot. I just hoped it would be half as nice as advertised! It came a couple of days ago, and Im thrilled. The packaging was amazing. and the plant that emerged is gorgeous. The pot and teak stand are perfect. I'm extremely happy and am looking for another spot for a plant so I can order more! read more

UPDATE 6/16/20 L&G replaced my first plant with a new one that looks fantastic - very healthy & high-quality, exactly what I was expecting from them in the first place :-) Thank you to the customer service for helping me with the replacement! -- ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was really excited to receive my first L&G plant two days ago - but I ended up being quite disappointed with the quality of the plant I received (large silver evergreen). The plant has several yellow colored leaves drooping down, it just does not look at its best as I was expecting from L&G. The service of L&G has not been great either, as they have not replied back to my message (with pictures) regarding the plant... So - overall not the greatest experience with this company. read more

I received my FLF yesterday and was a bit disappointed and underwhelmed with delivery and the product. I paid the extra money for white glove delivery but the day before delivery I got an email saying that in home delivery is suspended because of covid. I understand that, it's a safety precaution but why did they allow me to pay the extra fee if the delivery driver was just going to drop it off at my door just like UPS or FedEx would but for a much cheaper price?.... It should have been very clear at checkout that due to covid white glove delivery is modified. In addition, the plant itself has a few brown spots, isn't really a nice deep green, and the leaves weren't shiny or polished looking upon delivery. I had higher expectations considering the price and marketing. I was at wholefoods today and saw a FLF and it was in much nicer condition than what I received yesterday - for a fraction of the price. Just bummed out. read more

Very disappointing customer service. I bought an expensive large olive bush which after some time developed scale. We tried many things to clean up the infestation, but realized that the plant was unlikely to survive. So I went back to Leon & George and re-ordered the same plant, same size, which now cost even more money. Shipping was delayed and when it arrived both the plant and pot are significantly smaller but with the same item number and description. When I reached out the company they cited increased costs to them, but they had not updated their item online. I complained that I paid even more for a significantly smaller product, and they offered me a relatively small gift card. I don't want another little plant, and the gift card does not hold value. I'm pretty appalled by this callous skimpflation. The company keeps citing their business needs, but doesn't seem to recognize that they are customer facing. I won't be back, nor will I recommend. read more

I ordered couple plants from Léon & George and am really surprised by how well they take care of the plants, you can almost feel the love of them taking care of those healthy plant. I was at first a bit hesitate to purchase online because its not a small money, however, I am only regretting not purchase the larger tree :) Delivery is pretty on time with care, all the plants arrived in perfect condition. I also purchased some other plants from other online store, I have to say if you consider the beautiful pot and the condition of the plants, the price is actually amazingly reasonable. (Actually going to buy more for my other rooms) If I could meet them in their show room one day, I will for sure walk over and share my appreciation. Good job and thank you read more

Good service. I ordered a ceramic pot and stand online and due to a typo in the dimensions on the website, ended up ordering the wrong size. I pointed out the error and they offered to let me exchange the size at the store. It was pretty quick and painless. I left off a couple stars because when I got home I noticed the inside of the pot has a shallow semi-circle chip about an inch in diameter and a few scuff circles that had been painted over. So, I may have gotten either a used pot for $$$$ or definitely a less than perfect quality pot. It's inside the pot so at least you can't see it but... I know they're there and not thrilled given how expensive they are. read more

I ordered a snake plant from Leon & George for my husband's birthday. It arrived on Friday (his birthday) and he LOVES it. It is beautiful and has a very high-end feel. The plant itself is elegant and streamlined, thus this selection works well as a gift, though price-wise this is probably the case only for very special occasions (this was the big 5-0). The Modernica pot and stand are perfect for our minimalist, mid-century decor and if you had the monstrera back in stock I'd buy that one for our anniversary. ;) Thank you Leon & George! read more

While the product is absolutely outstanding, my plants arrived past the date agreed when I ordered. It was intentionally ordered for a special event, and confirmed when I placed the order, then once the confirmation email arrived, my delivery date had changed. I emailed Customer Service and was told nothing could be done as the plants had been shipped even though I contacted them minutes after the confirmation email said the plant would ship. This appears to me intentional and way to lasso people in especially when special dates approach. For this reason I will not be ordering from Leon & George again, as their word on their order form does not match their word on confirmation of order. read more

The positives are that I really like the pot and stand, and the help I got was pretty thorough. But my plant didn't look so great when it arrived (the person who helped out said that was normal from travel stress). I'm have other thriving houseplants so I'm not a total newbie. I followed all the instructions, sent in photos to make sure the plant was in a good location, etc. But the plant died after about two months, unfortunately. I was so excited to receive my 1st Leon & George plant given all of the great reviews. My medium sized Zanzibar did come well packaged although it's leaning a bit to one side and smaller than I thought. I ordered a similar plant from Amazon a few months earlier for about $50 and, truth be told, the quality of the plants is about the same (although the pot from L&G is much better quality). I would've expected a much bigger plant for the price. Also, the stand I purchased which I thought was "recommended" during check-out is for the larger pot - too much trouble to send back as I already threw the box away.
