Rita and the team at Indoor Greenery exceeded all expectations. They went above and beyond at every point. They expedited the normal service timeline to accommodate my needs. I made first contact less than a month before the event date. They worked quickly, professionally, and thoroughly to understand my vision and suggest the right plants and placements. They have the perfect selection for any event. The "day of" went perfectly. Arrived on time, worked quickly to set up and break down, and ran everything by me to make sure it was up to my expectations. The service elevated my event and the caliber plants they provided stole the show. Everyone commented on how incredibly beautiful they looked and how it tied everything together. Can't thank Indoor Greenery enough. If you need a plant rental service, look no further. You've found the perfect vendor! read more

Wonderful service and beautiful plants delivered to my daughter's wedding at Fort Mason. Rita was easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Indoor Greenery has rented us beautiful large plants as well as smaller plants for our offices since 1981. Over the past 44 years they have provided consistent skilled maintenance based on their extensive horticultural knowledge. Given this, the plants are always lush and thriving. We are so appreciative of indoor greenery for bringing the beauty of nature indoors. When, as sometimes happens, a plant begins to lose ground, they take the initiative to promptly replace it. Indoor Greenery's consistent professional service is of great help in our offices, we can devote our attention to other things, knowing the plants' needs are fully met. read more

Rita and Gabriel at Indoor Greenery provided a service that was above and beyond my expectations. They were so attentive and thoughtful with detail and very open to customizing the experience to my needs. I spoke to other plant rental companies and I ultimately chose to go with Rita and Gabriel because they seemed like they really wanted me to have the best experience possible (which I absolutely did). I wanted a lush plant backdrop to my wedding ceremony and contacted Rita and Gabriel. Together we went through their inventory and selected each plant one by one. You can tell that their passion is plants. Gabriel then delivered, potted, AND arranged the plants the day of my wedding and made sure everything was to my liking. The team was in constant communication from the beginning of the process to the end. I HIGHLY recommend working with them for any plant rental needs. You are in good hands. read more

We've rented plants (and plant care!) from Indoor Greenery for our office for at least 5 years now. Before we used them our office space was bland and lifeless. Rita came in and looked around our space, made sure to figure out the sunlight that each area gets and determined which plants would do best and then recommended and installed all of the plants. She was spot-on perfect because the plants have thrived and grown into beautiful, mature plants. Her assistant takes care of the plants for us so all we have to do is enjoy them. We highly recommend Indoor Greenery! read more

We worked with Indoor Greenery to source plants for a birthday bash. The venue had super high ceilings so we needed tall and full plants. They had an amazing selection of mature and beautiful plants. Rita was wonderful to work with as we made plans and chose the plants. Gabriel did an outstanding job working directly with the venue to deliver, place, and remove the plants. They made the process so easy and in fact the cost was much much lower than other locations we researched (less than half the cost of those other places). We will work with them in the future. read more

Rita and Gabriel are wonderful. We have had this service for years and think of our plants as family. Gabriel is extremely professional, knowledgeable and punctual. I was amazed as to how dedicated Gabriel is to his work. We had to make special arrangements to provide access during the months of pandemic we were completely shut down and Gabriel made sure that our plants are well taken care off despite the craziness going around. They are very attentive and pay attention to detail. I highly recommend Indoor Greenery for your office plant needs. read more

Indoor Greenery was the best find! I had a 3 day event in Tiburon, and I was looking for some plants to help make the room feel more alive. Rita took the time to ask me questions about the feel of the event, the room layout, traffic patterns...things not everyone would think about. She really took interest on how to best utilize the plants. When Gabriel delivered the plants...they were stunning. Gabriel also took his time in making sure that the plants were looking their best, and at the perfect placement. The attendees were shocked to find that the plants were REAL!! Thank you so much to Indoor Greenery for making my event venue beautiful and welcoming. I am definitely looking forward to working with them on other event projects. read more

We moved into our new corporate offices in a high-rise office building in uptown Oakland back in 2011 and it took us a few months to get everything situated but it wasn't until we added plants that our working environment felt complete. The thought of having to purchase plants and have someone on staff be responsible for watering, pruning, and replacing them over time was daunting, and nobody wanted to, or felt qualified, to do it. We found Indoor Greenery through a google search, and after meeting with them, and several other vendors, it was clear they were the ideal partner for us. And our experience ever since has been fantastic! Not only do they know their plants, but one of the owners (Rita) came to our office several times to measure the amount of natural light (candles) we got in specific places. That's how she was able to recommend the specific plants for each location in the office. Every other week, a service tech with a green thumb comes and waters the plants that need watering, he trims and prunes as needed, and if any of the plants look like they're suffering, he makes a note of it, and will replace it with a new plant on his next trip. For a reasonable monthly fee, we've had healthy looking plants in our entryway, conference rooms, offices, etc. and haven't had to worry about them once. The staff is very courteous and they're good about calling when they plan on stopping by to water the plants, and they're practically unnoticeable while they're here in the office. If you're looking for a vendor to work with on corporate plants and greenery for your offices, I highly recommend Indoor Greenery. Good service, top quality plants, and they're extremely knowledgeable.....what more could you ask for. read more

We have always struggled maintaining our office plants, that were inherited by us from a former tenant. We tried assigning each plant to an employee for watering. Bottom line was we ended up for over a year with over a dozen sad and mostly dead plants in our office. They were not only an eyesore but potentially toxic to our office air quality. I did some research for plant companies and found Rita at Indoor Greenery. She likes to do things old school, by coming in your space and providing an honest appraisal of which plants placed where would make the office space more appealing. She was also understanding that we were a small business and didn't need to do anything extravagant. We have had our new plants for about 3 months now and office morale has picked up, the air in the office is fresher (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) and the best part is Indoor Greenery maintains the plants! Oh and if the plants don't thrive in your space (please do not touch the plants) they will swap them out! If you are looking to spruce up the office vibe, or maybe you are also staring at some sad half dead plants, give them a chance to give you a proposal. So glad we did! read more

Indoor Greenery is a lifesaver in seamlessly solving a big problem for us - keeping our office stocked with beautiful (and thriving) plants! Rita and Crew do an exceptional job recommending greenery given specific lighting measurements individual to each plant spot, and boy does it pay off. They look better than any plants we've ever owned, 5 years in as happy customers. Now if they'll just come to my house... :) read more

I was a client of Indoor Greenery for just over two years. From the very beginning, the service was friendly and professional. Rita came to our office for a free consultation and created a detailed proposal keeping our needs and budget in mind. After we signed up, the maintenance by Joel was spot on. They unhesitatingly replaced one of the plants when it was struggling. The customer care was really outstanding, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with Indoor Greenery again. read more

We have been renting plants from Indoor Greenery to improve our office space for over ten years. We are a small engineering firm with six employees and everyone agrees, plants make people happy. The plants are beautifully maintained and replaced seasonally or whenever needed. Joel comes by our office on a regular basis to check on the plants and he always calls first to be sure someone is available. A couple of years ago, we had the floor of our office space refinished over the Christmas/ New Years holiday. Rita came and loaded up all the plants in the company van and stored them for us until the floors were finished. Some of the plants didn't fare so well in the moving process and they were immediately swapped out. Indoor Greenery has provided us with excellent customer service and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their indoor spaces. read more

Rita, Everyone is back in the office, and I must say, we are beyond thrilled with the plants you selected for us. Larry couldn't be happier with his grand Arboricola tree, Lynn is delighted with the orchids ("Perfect, perfect!"), the plant wall makes such a statement, the succulents are adorable, and the Bromeliad on the dining table is gorgeous. We are all enjoying the lovely, lush workplace you created for us. Thank you very much for all of your help. We love how everything turned out. read more

Indoor Greenery is the best. They have been in business in the Bay Area for ages (we hired them after I remembered that they were our excellent plant service at another job over 15 years ago) and really know their stuff. Rita, the owner, is a true artist who can match the right plant size, color, texture, light needs, and containers to the decor of your office in order to truly enhance the environment. Joel (I call him the Plant Manager) will come and meticulously feed and tend the plants and know exactly what is happening with them at any given time. And, he is a terrific presence around the office and font of knowledge about all things greenery. Like some of the other reviewers, I purchased several plants when I first opened my physical therapy and wellness studio downtown. Within weeks they were dead. I decided to look into plant rental, which really did seem like an absurd concept for our small space, but has actually turned out to be a very smart choice! My office manager contacted Rita at Indoor Greenery and scheduled a meeting a few days later. Rita visited our space and listened to our ideas. She made a few suggestions and measured the light in several spaces where we thought we wanted a plant. Within 3 weeks, our plants were ordered and delivered. I appreciated that Rita wanted to work within our budget. Now we get to see Joel every couple of weeks when he comes to water and care for the plants. We appreciate that he calls ahead of time to make sure it's a good time to come by without interrupting patient care. If he sees that a plant is not doing well, he will make suggestions about moving it to a location with better light. We have recommended Indoor Greenery to several other businesses and will use them again, should we expand. Rita and Joel are professional and knowledgeable and we truly enjoy working with them! read more

Our non-profit in Berkeley has used Indoor Greenery for the better part of 10 years. Before we opted for the plant care services of Indoor Greenery, there were a lot of struggling half-dead plants that people have brought in from home or whatever. Now, there is GREEN in our office and cubicle areas, and in our large conference room, as well. Joel takes good care of us, so no plants ever appear to be past their prime. read more
