A card was given to see their storefront in the Bay View. Since we finished 38Makers early, we decided to go. Thanks to Isaiah who was manning the store. He was so fun to talk to. He showed us the cool pieces that were being worked and talked about how the pots were made. The creativeness with the succulent was so fun to see. Had to go home with additional items. The Yerba Buena Chapter encompasses San Francisco and northern San Mateo Counties and is named for the tiny fragrant mint Satureja douglasii found in this area. This CNPS chapter has San Francisco garden tours in the spring and the plant sales in the fall (when it is easiest to plant natives). The other local CNPS chapters in the East Bay and Santa Clara and have great garden tours, too.
