Told the waiter I have an hour for lunch... waiting for my sushi. Don't know if buffet is worth it because the food hasn't arrived yet. Had to request my soup and salad separately I told waiter that I had a hour for lunch and then they tried to charge me to go price for Sushi from my second order because it took so long to come out, I had to leave... had to fight for my rights because it's not my fault. They only have two sushi makers for lunchtime. I paid $18.40 and tipped my waitress. They did well not arguing over the price... lunch is definitely the better buy! The last four rolls I got were dragon, NC State treasure Island, and Hanami

My coworker had been raving about this restaurant for quite a while and I finally got an opportunity to try it. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza so there is shared parking out front. The restaurant is spacious with multiple tables inside. We came during the week for lunch. The all you can eat hibachi and sushi special is only $16. Our server explained the process to order our food from a tablet. Once your order is placed you have to wait ten minutes before you can order more food. There are multiple sushi rolls, chicken wings, soups, hibachi, dumplings, and etc available to order. The only catch is that if you do not eat the rolls you will be charged for them. When came right when the business opened but some of the desserts were listed as being out of stock. All of the food that we ordered was brought out together with some of the items such as the rolls and dumplings on the same plates. We weren't a fan of the miso soup. But everything else was fresh and tasted good. Our server checked on us multiple times. I would come back and try other food options.

I came here for the lunch all you can eat, which was only $16, such a great deal! The food was really good and super filling. Everything came out fast, fresh, and tasty. I liked that there's a 10-minute wait between each order. It gave me just the right amount of time to enjoy what I had before ordering more. The location is also super convenient. There's a parking area which made getting in and out really easy. The location is clean, however, the floors were slippery. Overall, a great lunch spot with good value and quick service. I'll definitely be back! Recommendation: SHRIMP SHUMAI SO GOOOOD!

My family went to Okome for AYCE sushi as an alternative to Mr. Tokyo. There was no wait and we were seated immediately, although it did take some time for someone to bring over the tablet to us to order. We were able to order from the tablet an unlimited number of rounds but there's a 10 minute grace period where you can't order anything right after submitting an order. The appetizers we ordered weren't bad, although the calamari definitely seemed frozen. The sushi came out on a boat which was fun. However, the sushi was a bit messily constructed and some rolls were drowning in sauce. The price ($25.99/person) is hard to beat and overall I was satisfied with the experience!

Pictures were from my first trip to Okome and I will definitely return! The staff give you an iPad to order all you can each sushi and hibachi and this was the stunning presentation! I just wish the restaurant was closer to where I live!

This place is clean and fast! The quality of the sushi was pretty good and I enjoyed the hibachi as well. We were disappointed in the chicken katsu though. It was basically a cut up chicken nugget. They have a lot of hits and misses, but if you go a few times I'm sure you could make a strategic menu that would be great. The people bringing out the sushi didn't seem to know what anything was. We were having to look back at the pictures to know what rolls were what. My favorite item was the sushi pizza. Would recommend!

I don't go into AYCE places with high expectations but had to check it out to see. Dining area was packed on a Sunday night...a good sign. We were promptly greeted and were shown to our table by a very efficient server. You place your order on a tablet. The sushi? It was just ok. If you're expecting high end sushi, this isn't it. Quality is akin to supermarket sushi. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you're expecting and if your goal is quantity over quality. A lot of the rolls were covered in sauces. We asked for wasabi and were asked if we wanted eel sauce, sriracha mayo or yum yum sauce. For those who don't want sushi, there's a good selection of other items such as hibachi, tempura, gyoza etc....which we didn't try.

Tried Okome for the first time last night with my family, and I had a great experience. Firstly, our server was so friendly and attentive that he guided us through the menu and how we could order on the iPad they had for us at the table. We ordered apps, sushi, and dessert. Everything was so delicious my personal favorites were the shrimp tempura roll, the TNT roll, and the clear soup. Overall, I enjoyed it here and would definitely go back!

I've been here twice already, This was my third time and they walked right past me and my husband like 5 times and yes they saw us. on top of that when we're finally seated we waited a while until someone asked what we wanted to drink just to give us a dirty ipadbathrooms where dirty the floors had crumbs honestly don't know how they have 95 rating for cleanliness....pls don't come here expecting a good sushi experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I have to admit, my expectations were not high considering it's an AYCE sushi restaurant - but I was very wrong! Everything my daughter and I ate was great! There were so many options to choose from! Way more than I expected! The sushi was delicious for restaurant sushi - some of the best I've had. Our server did an amazing job considering she was the only one waiting on the many tables in our section. The restaurant was very busy, but not overwhelming. I can't wait to go back and try more!

Very much so enjoyed this place! This is an AYCE sushi and hibachi spot is crafting made go order sushi rolls that are high quality! I went with a friend and we ordered 2 appetizers, 4 rolls, and a mochi dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed each sushi roll we ordered and they were all extremely flavorful! The appetizers (spring rolls and gyoza) were also delicious as well. You also can't go wrong with some ice cream mochi. The service was quick, it didn't take long after ordering for the items to come to our table and our waitress checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. This spot is definitely a must try if you love sushi and hibachi!

We have been looking for a closer, good AYCE Sushi spot than Mr. Tokyo in Chapel Hill. We have found it! Okome House in Raleigh did not disappoint. The staff was very pleasant and big praise to our server Yeslie who checked in on us often to make sure all was well. She was so nice. The AYCE was priced well for lunch at $15.99 and the selection was generous. The rolls had good flavor and everything was fresh. I would say that the sushi was on par with Mr. Tokyo.... Maybe even a tad better. You place your order on the provided tablet and it couldn't be easier. A nice vibrant photo of every item is provided with a description. Once you are ready, just click send and your sushi will soon arrive. A sign is placed at every table explaining that if you have leftover sushi, you will be charged .50 to $1.00 per piece, depending on the item. Really pretty common amongst AYCE sushi spots so this should not be a surprise. The restaurant is clean and everyone around was enjoying some good sushi. We will be back.... Soon

Food was not bad but needs improvement. Food service is too slow. Waiters need to be more flexible and agile.

I also ordered extra noodles in the bowl. You will definitely leave with leftovers as the portions are huge! Wow! Another amazing anniversary at O-Ku!…read more My husband and I have a personal tradition of having dinner at O-Ku every year for our anniversary. It's especially meaningful to us because it's where we had our first date many years ago. This year, we were greeted with the warmest smiles by the hostess, and shortly after, Ariel welcomed us with such genuine warmth. She even remembered us from our previous visits, which made the evening feel even more special. Our server, Itcel, was absolutely amazing. Thanks to her thoughtful and detailed descriptions of the menu, I felt inspired to try a new dish--and I absolutely loved it! A huge thank you to the entire O-Ku team for making our anniversary so special year after year. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

I was especially pleased to find an item that included uni (sea urchin) on the menu. This is an acquired taste but a longtime favorite of mine and I haven't come across it at a sushi restaurant in many years. This is an incredibly elevated take on Japanese food that is unlike any sushi restaurant I've ever visited. The dessert menu is extensive (far more than just mochi ice cream) and each pick is completely unique and probably something you've never had anywhere else. Our server was wonderful and even brought an assortment of lemon and cucumber slices for our water. My only negative is we thought the hostess was a little bit rude.
