Every time I have a flat and need a tire repair, they've always gotten me in right away and gotten it fixed immediately. Sometimes at no-charge even! My most recent experience was today. On Saturday I got a flat tire in Madden, AB and had to get AMA to come change my tire. I tried to get into Canadian Tire to have them fix it, and they told me the hole was "Too big for the plug" and that I needed to buy a new tire. And they were going to charge me a fortune for it because I have 17" low-profile tires. I took it in to Don this morning and he had a look at it and was able to fix it. I ALWAYS recommend OK tire to my friends and colleagues when they ask me where a good place to buy tires is. Even if they live in Calgary, the quality of service is well worth it.

A good friend who owns new a Mercedes referred me to Mike's after the turbo went on my 2005 VW Jetta Wagon TDI. I was getting quotes from other shops that just to get the turbo replaced was going to cost me at least $3K...ouch. I spoke with Mike and he gave me a quote that came it under budget for a new turbo (Miracle #1). He special ordered the part in for me and got my car in within two days of the call. Since he was able to give me such a good price, I was also able to get my front brakes done and have a brand new Bosch battery installed. Miracle #2 came when two days later, my car sounded like it had eaten a very angry R2D2 (high pitched whining sound, plus no power). I brought it in first thing in the morning, concerned that yet another problem had arisen with my now aging VW. Turns out the brand new turbo was defective. Before I could even respond to the voicemail he had left to tell me what's wrong, they had managed to get ANOTHER brand new turbo in and start working on my car. By the time I called after I had a break in my meeting schedule that afternoon, they were just about ready to take it for a test drive. I picked it up the same day around 5:30pm - no charge and a big smile from Miracle Mike.

About 18 hours later I'm doing to work and I suddenly hear a scraping sound. I get out and see the tire has become dislodged from the rim. I understand mistakes happen, I understand complications come up. When I was able to speak to a manager they addressed all my concerns and were able to come to a very agreeable offer to correct everything. I think it shows a lot of integrity when a business acts like this. I was turned from a disappointed customer to a very satisfied one.
