I've been here twice and both times have had excellent experiences. I saw Lisa today and she was able focus on my knots in my shoulders and upper back. I highly recommend this place. read more

Prices are great. But the place lives up to its name. I wish the massage was just "OK", but in fact it was less than "OK". The ladies there hardly speak and understand English and they were having trouble comprehending what I wanted. They were massaging all the spots that didn't need much attention and avoiding what I wanted massaged. They were too hard with the pressing and I can recall too many moments that were too painful and I had to tell her to go softer. It's the next morning and I'm writing this, and I am in more pain than I was before I went in, somewhat bruised. It was my friend and I's first time in this place, and we both agreed that the saying "you get what you pay for" is true for this place. On the other hand, the place is very well kept and clean. The ambience is very relaxing and cozy. They are polite and the prices are great. read more

Not to sure about this place. It looks sketch and English is not spoken here! They demand tips!!! The last gave me a really hard message which I didn't complain because I thought I needed it, it was my first time and I have a lot of knots. After waking up in pain I did my research. It could normal for some pain but it lasted a few days. Overall she did get out some of my kinks, I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time and couldn't relax, but as I said she did well with getting out the kinks my shoulders were so relaxed I couldn't raise them if I wanted to lol. But I will try another place before returning. If I don't find someone else to get those kinks then I'll go back. Actually I'm sorry I won't go back, totally forgot they made us pay before the message. I gave her 60 for my 50 dollar bill and she told me I couldn't have my change back and when I paid for my mom they made me give 10 extra. I'm not mad about the tip I generally leave big tips and would have left more had she had not read more

I used to come here every 2 weeks. I loved this place but after about a year, the manager began to be quite rude. He has always rubbed me the wrong way (no pun intended) but I was able to overlook it (he would complain if I wanted to pay with a card and tell me I need to bring cash, he has also given me a hard time about the rewards card they have, when I came with my mom and paid for her and myself he only allowed me one stamp, but I paid for 2 massages). For me the straw that broke the camels back was when he became angry that I did not leave a night enough tip. I was paying 20 bucks for the foot massage and was leaving a 5 dollar tip... he wanted me to leave 10. It was an OK massage, definitely not worth a 10 dollar tip. There are better places nearby, where I am treated better for my business. read more

I read the reviews and decided to give this place a try! The massage was amazing from YoYo, her energy for 90 minutes was incredible as I was very stressed and in pain. The place is very clean and for $60 for 90 minutes, it's a great value! HOWEVER, It's hard to completely relax when you can constantly hear people talking outside the room because the walls do not go up all the way to the ceiling?? I like it quiet when I'm trying to relax!!I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the noise!! read more

My partner and I have been going for a massage here for quite a few years and even though the massages have been good their customer service sucks. My partner, my brother, and I walked in today for a foot massage at 12:30 pm. They said they were busy and asked if we could wait till 1:00 pm. Then they said to come back at 2:00 pm so they can fit all three of us. We go back at 2:00 pm only to find out they could only fit two people. It was so frustrating to say the least. They need to learn better English if they are going to run a business. read more

Jack is great! I really enjoyed this place although it can be a bit loud at times when new customers enter. I'll definitely come back

The massage ladies are great but the MANAGEMENT AND GUY IN FRONT IS NIGHTMARE. Literally set appointment for couple and 2 girls. we show up i get into my room and they forced my girl into another room and send her a guy into the room. She denies a guy and the manager comes in and says dont worry he is just gunna rub your shoulders until a girl comes. Basically forcing my girl into a weird situation she CLEARLY DOESNT WANT. I paid and left and will never ever go back. HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR A WOMAN!!!!!!!!! NIGHTMARE PLACE read more

This place if I could rate 0 stars I would! I came in here to relax and it was the opposite. The owner kept interrupting my massage and yelling at the lady massaging me. She then began to massage me kind of roughly. I gave her a 4 dollar tip because it was not a good massage and it was the most stressful experience I ever had! I came to relax! When I went to pay, the owner, the man there then asked me how was the massage? I just said here is the tip. It was ok. He then scolded me to leave a bigger tip. He said he keeps 20 and they get the tip! I left so upset and stressed out. The next day I had bruises on my arms! And 2 bruises on my face! I called and told him I had bruises and that it was a horrible massage and that the lady was rough and that is why I tipped 4 dollars and hung up on him! Stay away from that place! Go to Massage Envy for a stress free quality massage. read more

I received a grooupon for this place for a couples massage. My husband and I went in and they said "couples masssage?" I said yes and they took us straight to the room, no complaints on the massage, the problem was when it was time to pay he said I shoul've told him about my groupon before the massage. I don't understand why since we got the exact massage the groupon was intended for. He said it's different there was a language barrier so He didn't go into detail as to how it's different. I ended up paying 100 dollars for said massage, it was my husbands last night in toWn since he works out of state and was leaving the next morning. Fast forward a month has passed my friend who gifted us the massage was gOnna go with me so the massage doesn't go to waste, she calls for an appointment they tell her come in at 745 she makes sure to mention the Groupon then she's told "can you come in tomorrow because today is Chinese New Year" I don't understand, if we were not using a groupon it's ok to come in ok Chinese New Year? This place is a joke. Ok rant over moral of the story do not purchase groupons for this place. read more

Best massage place i been too well done and very good customer service i highly reccomend this place go see for yourself

I called for an appt for a 60 min massage for 2 people at 8:30pm (they close at 10). When we got there, he said we could only do 30 minutes. When I asked why he didn't mention that on the phone - he continued to say "30 min only". Very unapologetic and rude. There were 3 girls in front of us that had walked out as well because they didn't fulfill their appointments. Very disappointing - would not recommend this place due to their lack of professionalism read more

My favorite place to get a massage! $30 for 70 minutes! It is beyond relaxing and such a great deal!

Great, friendly service! Always consistent and relaxing. You can't beat their prices! Definitely worth it. :)

Was treated to a massage here a few years ago and fell in love. Had a group join me for my birthday and service was inconsistent, we all chose the same massage and didn't receive the full service paid. One person from my group did not even get her feet massaged. Will not be returning again. This has happened on two separate occasions. Disappointed read more

I saw this place had good reviews on here so my buddy and I decided to give it a try. As soon as we walked in a lady greeted us and asked which massage we wanted. We chose the 30 min massage for $25. They charged us right off the bat before getting our massages and we were both charged for $26. I'm assuming that was a $1 transaction fee for using a debit card. There was an option for a tip and I usually tip no matter where I go, but I wasn't going to tip for something I hadn't even gotten yet. What if the service was terrible? My massage was fine, I think it was worth the $25. Once it was over I walked out of my room and three of the women came up to me and asked if I wanted to tip because I put $0.00 for the tip on my receipt when I had been charged already. I told them I had already paid and they said they could change my transaction and add a tip. They also showed me my friend's receipt and asked for him to add a tip too. I felt very uncomfortable that these three women were cornering me in their store and demanding that I tip them. No matter what I said they wouldn't take no for an answer, and I finally just had to walk out. They all gave me dirty looks like I was doing them wrong, but in all honesty it was wrong of them to do that to me. If they want a tip they should wait till after the massage to charge me, that way I know how much to tip. read more

This is the new location in La Verne with the same owner. (Healthfull Body And Spa) I usually go and get one massage a year. Today was the day I picked. I decided to try the new place next to Dr. Boyer's office on Foothill and Towne Center in La Verne. There is a big grand opening sign outside. When I walked in, I wanted to just get a chair massage so I didn't have to take my close off or anything because I knew I would be in a hurry when it was time to leave. I only had an hour. The man told me that if I opted for the full body massage, it would be cheaper. $40, so I said ok, but that I didn't really want a full body massage. I mostly wanted them concentrate on my neck and shoulders. He said he he would tell the masseuse so I went in and disrobed. I lied down and put the sheet over me and the man came in. An older, Chinese man. He started working on me and was doing a fine job. Every now and then, he would rest one of his hands directly on my butt. Right on the crack in a fist, and massage my back with the other hand. I don't get that many massages, so I'm lying there thinking that maybe this could barely be considered my lower back and maybe he just isn't thinking, but when he did it for the third time, I reached back and removed his hand and ask him to please put his hand up higher. He adjusted the towel that was over my butt a little bit and then put his hand right back where it was. It is no fun to lie there and wonder what the heck could possibly be going on in this man's head and do I remove his hand again...but he removed it and started to massage my legs. I realized that about 45 minutes had gone by, and he hadn't paid any attention to my neck or shoulders. At this point however, the music that was playing switched from the usual calm, New Agey sounding Asian music to what HAD to be a 10 year old who just got handed his first school-issued alto saxophone, and was sight reading Whitney Houston's "Where Do Broken Hearts Go," along with a midi play along track. I could have played that song better on the saxophone That my husband has from elementary school with all the pads missing that is in our closet. I couldn't focus on anything except for the horrible sound coming out of that person's saxophone on the recording and I finally had to ask the man to please turn off the music. I started to tell him that I was a piano player and I was sorry but it really was bothering me. He laughed a little bit and kept going with the massage. I asked him again. I just said "Please turn the music off". He got up and turned the music off and came back and said he was sorry. When he came back, I explained to him that I had asked for most of the massage to be on my neck and shoulders. He said OK and then started massaging my feet again. I asked him if he spoke English. He shook his head no. I pointed to the door and ask him to please go get someone who spoke English. He came back with another man, and I explained. I told the man my time was almost up. He said "Give him five more minutes and he would massage my neck and shoulders." He went out and the man proceeded to dig his elbow into the middle of my back for five minutes. I was frustrated so I said that I had to leave. I thought he understood and he left the room. I got up and started to put my clothes on when he came right back into the room with me standing there naked. Luckily I had my shirt in my hand and quickly tried to put it up to cover myself and I told him I was getting dressed and for him to LEAVE. While I'm getting dressed, the other man comes back and starts knocking on the door asking if he can come in. I am saying that I am getting dressed and of course they cannot come in but he keeps asking. Finally, I am dressed and I walk out to the front. I started to explain to the second man that even after he had intervened, I still didn't get what I asked for. Then he told me that he doesn't speak English. He started dialing the phone to get someone on the other end who wasn't there but spoke English, apparently. I told that man how I had not gotten what I asked for, and had been touched inappropriately, and walked in on while I was naked. I told him that I thought it was unacceptable to have someone giving a massage who doesn't understand any English at all. I told him I thought it was dangerous. He apologized and I told him I was not going to pay full price for this massage. I told him it was my birthday and it was supposed to be relaxing and it was super frustrating the whole time. I told him I wouldn't pay any more than $20 and he tried to get me to pay 30. I refused and told him that I thought I probably should've gotten it for free and maybe a whole other massage for free as well, but I wouldn't have accepted it even if it was offered. I also said I was thinking about writing a bad yelp review. He reluctantly agreed and I gave him the $20 and walked out. read more
