    Hot stone bibimbap- very good!
    Jack H.

Simple review: I absolutely love hot stone bibimbap with Bulgogi. So I was yelping where to find it. I found Ojuk and circled the parking lot, not realizing it's inside H mart. I parked went inside and saw their little food court. I order my bibimbap with bulgogi. The people working there are very kind and sweet. The food came out fairly quick. I realized I forgot to ask for egg on top (next time). Then I devoured the food lol Totally recommended to try out. Good food Good people

The restaurant is located inside the Hmart. Shared indoor seating with the other restaurants. I tried the bibimbap and beef Tofu soup. The Tofu soup was a bit different from others that I've had. It had vegetables in it which I didn't mind for being able to have some extra vegetables. The flavor was still good. The bibimbap however was strange. It had vegetables you don't usually see and not sure if they had forgotten for my takeout order but there was no sauce to mix the rice with. I need a bit of kick in the dish so I ended up mixing it into the Tofu soup which wasn't bad but it's not what I thought I would be ordering. The staff was nice tho.

My friend and I came here because we wanted to try this new spot in the food court in hmart. They were very busy on a Friday night. We wanted to get the bibimbap and kbbq beef galbi as there was a discount. However, after ordering the cashier told us that they ran out of kbbq beef galbi and was going to give me a refund. We were quite disappointed because it looked really good! We didn't try anything else and just got the bibimbap which I would rate a solid 3/5. HOWEVER, the restaurant running out of the kbbq kalbi was NOT TRUE because as we were finishing up, the table next to got an order of the kbbq galbi! What really happened was that they ran out of the plates that they served it on. I didn't appreciate them telling me that the dish was sold out when it wasn't. They just needed more patrons to return their plates so they can wash it and use those hot plates again. They could've just told me it would be a longer wait and let me decide if I wanted to wait or cancel the order. This experience left a bad impression on me and I wouldn't return because of that. I do not want to support a business like this.

A rather middling, food-court based Korean restaurant serving traditional fare such as bimbibap (with beef, pork or squid bulgogi), this restaurant benefits from its traditional location location in the Arcadia Hmart but without the glamour or detail of a dedicated brick-in-mortal establishment. Due to financial constraints, the restaurant has had to tweak the portions and plating of the stone pot bimbibap and other dishes, which has lowered the overall execution and presentation of some of its signatures. Overall, still an average and serviceable restaurant, but don't expect modern, restaurant-level quality in this food court establishment.

I can't remember the name of the place that came before, but I was curious to see what would take its place. Ojuk recently opened inside the H Mart food court, and since the menu had my usual bibimbap, I decided to give it a try. We ordered the tofu soup and the regular bibimbap. Both dishes came with banchan, and I especially enjoyed the salad that came with our meals. The tofu soup hit the spot. It was comforting and flavorful. The bibimbap was fresh and had the satisfying crunch from the vegetables. Neither dish really stood out or did anything different from other Korean restaurants, but they were both well prepared and the food came out in 15 minutes! Staff were friendly and answered my questions about adjusting spice levels. My biggest takeaway was the price. The food was good but the menu felt expensive, especially considering it's located inside the food court and there were other options available. I don't mind paying more for exceptional food, but I wasn't sure the overall experience justified the cost. Overall, Ojuk is a solid option if you're already at H Mart and craving Korean food. I'd come back if I was in the area, but with the current prices, I would opt for the other locations since it wouldn't be my first choice.

This little spot is located inside H Mart Arcadia. It's a simple spot serving classic Korean dishes. I ended up grabbing a bibimbap with beef bulgogi. I didn't know it came with a tray of side dishes, but it did, which was pretty nice. The dish itself was simple but tasty. The price was a bit high at around $20, but overall, I was satisfied.

Ojuk recently opened after Sogongdong closed down. Ojuk is a new restaurant located inside the H Mart food court. I saw that it had a variety of dishes similar to Sogongdong, so I decided to come give it a try. I ordered the stone pot bibimbap with an egg. The dish came with a soup and several banchan, including a delicious salad and also some gochujang. The dish took a good 15 minutes to prepare. I've had many stone pot bibimbap. This one was solid. It did not stand out in any way, but it still tasted good. I loved the gochujang, which was not too spicy for me. The service was solid. Staff were nice. Overall, solid Korean restaurant inside the H Mart food court in Arcadia.

Delicious new shop inside in the Hmart food court! Was craving bibimbap and this really hit the spot. They give a generous portion and the banchan and miso soup were tasty.

Great service everyone so nice!! Especially the cashier my food came out really nicely and it is exactly as it is in the photo. 10/10 customer service it was a bit packed in here but the food just made it better!

Very good service and the worker was very nice and chill. The food was also very good and delicious and came in very big portions. Overall the vibe was really nice.

My mom and I came to H Mart specifically for the hot stone bibimbap. When we arrived and realized the restaurant had changed ownership, I honestly thought, "Oh no... I hope it's still good." Thankfully, we were completely wrong. The new owner is incredibly friendly, and the restaurant feels even more thoughtful and authentic than before. Even the bowls, utensils, side dishes, and presentation show extra attention to detail. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. The hot stone bibimbap came out perfectly sizzling, with that delicious crispy rice at the bottom and generous toppings. The soup and side dishes were excellent as well. We came in worried and left impressed. This is definitely a place we'll be coming back to. Highly recommended!

Spoon and chopsticks for size. The leftover when we returned it, barely touched, it was cold.

Where's the beef? Ordered the stone pot Bulgogi but there was only a dab of beef. It was piping hot but disappointing.

My partner and I…read moreended up sharing the galbi, a bowl of cold buckwheat noodles, and an order of stir-fried spicy rice cakes. I really wanted to like the cold buckwheat noodles more than I did, but they were just okay. The noodles were refreshing, but nothing about the flavor really stood out or left much of an impression. The banchan selection was probably one of the more enjoyable parts of the meal. We got fish cake, seaweed salad, kimchi, bean sprouts, and mashed potato, which gave us a nice variety of flavors and textures to pick at between bites. The stir fried spicy rice cakes, on the other hand, were way too spicy. I don't mind some heat, but the spice here completely dominated the dish. It was hard to pick up much of the flavor underneath all that heat, and after a few bites, my palate was pretty much tapped out. As for the galbi, the meat was nicely seasoned with a decent savory-sweet flavor, but the portion was surprisingly small. For the price, I was expecting a more substantial serving, so it felt a little underwhelming when the plate arrived. Since this place is located inside a food court, the atmosphere is very casual. There are plenty of tables and chairs, so finding a place to sit shouldn't be an issue. I also appreciated the self-serve water station at the counter.

So I went into my trusty Yelp and found this place. Going here was a great decision because we have been good customers ever since. PARKING: It has never been an issue to park here because if the above ground level parking is all taken, there is underground parking with a good amount of parking spots. WHAT WE ORDERED: As you can see from my pictures, my mom, g/f and I have ordered a lot of different things on the menu. Some of them are no longer on the menu, but wished they would have kept it. Some of the hits include: - Bossam with the pork belly (putting in the spicy radish, baby shrimp and garlic are a must!) - Any of their soups (the kalbi tahng and soon dae soup (soon dae only for me because the other pig parts are a bit too chewy) - their cold buckwheat noodles. On a hot day they put some soup flavored slush so keep the dish cold. - their soft tofu soup (soon doo boo). You can't go wrong with the various flavors that they offer. - Their pork neck soup - With winter fast approaching (hopefully because of this stupid Super Duper Extraordinary El Nino What I also really like is the fact that they have items that are good/catered to both summer and winter, so despite it being a blood sausage place (soon dae), they have other things on the menu that are quite good! VERDICT: As previously mentioned, my mom, g/f and I have been good customers of this place and will continue to go here. The family that runs this place are awesome. The wait staff are nice and attentive and the food are a chef's kiss! SIDE NOTE: Another great thing about this place is the fact that there are a great number of places down the street that you can go to for dessert: Paris Baguette, Old Ferry Donut and Bopo. So whether you are on a date or with a group of friends, there are options for an awesome 2-cha.
