Owning a vacation rental property, I truly have nightmares about my pool heating or pool system going down because it has happened many times. Previously, fixes were not only expensive, but took a long time (parts took days/weeks) which really impacted my guests and therefore me. My pool heater just went down, and within a couple hours, Rolando had diagnosed the problem, quoted me, purchased the part, and fixed the problem. And his quote was beyond reasonable. He is the most efficient person out there, and he even responded to all of my texts and updated me throughout. He just recently built my friend's pool, and he works so quickly and efficiently with high-quality work, that this is a no-brainer. Don't even consider anyone else because it won't be worth your time. Rolando is a truly honest, hard-working, and trustworthy business man, and I'm so thankful to have him on my team.

Jaden from Pool Technicians came out today to look at two issues I was having with my pool: 1)…read more the lack of any pressure from the jets in the adjacent hot tub and 2) a salt cell chlorinator that was not working. I thought both were going to be major issues. I thought I needed an additional pump for the hot tub. And I thought the salt cell chlorinator would need at least a new motherboard, if not a complete replacement. Jaden did about 10 minutes of poking around and told me that 1) the pump issue was simply being caused by a rock that was jammed into one of the pumps, likely from the construction stage and 2) the salt cell was not receiving power because a previous (another company) technicians rewired it to a non-functional part of my panel. So, after an hour, I had fully functioning jets in the hot tub. A functional salt cell. And he even got my pool lights working. (I had never been able to use them and had given it up). So can't recommend this company and Jaden specifically any more highly.

My husband and I recently decided to remodel our pool, which was 12 years old and ready for a…read morerefresh. Before moving forward, we obtained three bids, including one from Melo's Pools and two other pool companies. While Melo's quote came in between the other two, we felt confident they would work closely with us to create our dream pool. Their detailed project timeline and professionalism gave us confidence from the start. We had already selected a glass waterline tile and needed expert guidance in choosing a pool finish that would be both beautiful and durable for years to come. Our Project Manager, Joaquin, recommended that we visit the NPT showroom in Palm Desert to explore our options. Following his expert advice, we selected a Stonescapes Mini Pebble finish in an aqua-blue color that perfectly complemented our tile choice. Throughout the demolition and remodeling process, Joaquin was always available to answer questions and provide guidance. His professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail helped ease any concerns and reassured us that our project was in capable hands. The day before demolition, Gabriel from the Melo's team arrived to drain the pool. The following morning, another crew arrived promptly at 7:00 a.m. to remove the old plaster finish and ceramic tile. That same week, Melo's tile crew installed our beautiful new glass tile and worked with us to create custom accents on the spa seating area, spa steps, and pool entry steps. Once the tile work was completed, another crew arrived as scheduled to apply the new Stonescapes Mini Pebble finish. After the finish was installed and the pool was refilled, Carlos from Melo's took over the startup and curing process. For the next six weeks, Carlos visited two to three times per week to ensure the new finish cured properly and that the water chemistry remained perfectly balanced. Carlos's professionalism, friendliness, thoroughness, and expertise in pool chemistry were truly impressive. He not only maintained the pool meticulously but also took the time to teach us how to properly care for and adjust the water once the startup period was complete. Throughout the entire renovation, Joaquin and the Melo's team maintained regular communication, ensuring that we were informed every step of the way. Every member of the team was professional, courteous, and genuinely focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. Our newly renovated pool was delivered in perfect working order, and the results are absolutely stunning. We could not be happier with the finished product or our experience working with Melo's Pools. We highly recommend Albert Melo, Joaquin, Carlos, and the entire Melo's Pools team. We wouldn't trust any other company with our pool needs.

Co-owner Thomas Montigny…read moreresponded quickly to a quote request on Yelp and clearly explained the various options for upgrading the coping around our pool and spa, as well as repairing and restaining a front step that had previous overlay work by done by another contractor. He listened to our many questions with patience and always responded with clear answers. The quote received was very reasonable, and the work began promptly and was finished in the timeline promised. Thomas came by daily to review the work, as well as touch base with us in person to keep us informed of the process and what the next day's work would be. They had a good size crew to ensure the work was finished on time . When the first coping color we selected didn't turn out as we expected, they redid the coping in a different two-tone color and texture that we preferred, and at no additional charge. Thomas even sent out his color expert to help with this final color application. Both the steps and pool coping turned out beautifully. Thomas and his team were a pleasure to work with and we would readily consider Splash Pool & Design again for future pool and spa work. At the end of the day, it was clear that our satisfaction with their work really mattered.
