This place comes recommended. I ordered the 2 meat sampler with two side dishes. The meats I chose were the beef brisket and smoked turkey. Flavor was really good, but the meat was not served hot. It was warm at best. I also got two side dishes, the baked beans and the creamed pepper corn not a big fan of the pepper corn. It had an odd taste to it. Not too spicy hot though and the baked beans were really good. Just the only complaint was the small portions. They came in a 5 ounce plastic cup for the side dishes. Great brewed iced tea. It wasn't table service except they do bring your order to you after you place your order at the counter. The dining room is decorated in a rustic theme with chalkboard menu items. read more

The girl behind the counter was great I couldn't hear her because the cook was having a loud conversation with an older guy about oil changes. We stayed in Jasper for a night on our way to Indianapolis and were looking for a good place to eat. We came to Oink Inc and were able to get a table for four. We were impressed by the variety of the menu and the affordable pricing. I ordered the popper smash burger with a side of Mac and cheese. I also got an old fashioned from the bar. My husband got ribs and my kids ordered cheeseburgers with fries. All of the food was great and we would definitely eat here again if we are ever back in town. read more

When I pulled up to this place you could smell the goodness before even getting inside! That's always a good sign! Nice place located in the square of Jasper. They have a parking lot but if it's full there is plenty of parking all along the street offering free parking. There were 6 of us and we all found something different to order, their menu really offers a variety of options. They don't have someone that comes to the table to take your order, you order at the counter, and then they bring the food to you. Even with 6 of us, the food came really quickly! It was lunch time but there was plenty of seating all around, so no issues there either. Another great dining experience here at Oink's. Tonight's food was outstanding! The chicken tenders were so tender they would fall apart while trying to pick them up with my fork. Extremely disappointed! Was going on friends recommendations on how good this place is. I ordered 2 meat combo, brisket , turkey. Turkey wasn't bad but only 3 small slices . Brisket was dry and tough and also 3 slices. Low & slow surely wasn't the case on the brisket. Having smoked meats for 30 yrs hot & fast dried it out and was tough. My sides were baked beans and slaw. These came in small portion cups definitely not worth the $24 I paid. Oh I ordered to go or I would've complained in person. read more

We're frequent visitors to their food truck and previous location. The new location is so nice! The brisket is the best my husband and I have ever had! And I was born and raised in Texas, from long lines of Texas natives. It doesn't need any sauce but their homemade sauce is very good. I got their lemon poppyseed salad as a side for my brisket today. It was Excellent!!! I love their homemade dressing. The greens were fresh and crunchy. The cashews, chicken, and parmesan all added to make this salad perfect! My husband had tater tots with his brisket sandwich. They were crunchy and hot, what's not to love!?! I've had their loaded tots before. WOW, worth the calories!!! Staff are great too! We got our food quickly after ordering but we came after the lunch rush so they weren't busy. BBQ is tough and does not fall off the bone. You have to order at counter, when you should be waited on. Nothing spectacular, just tolerable. My bf had to cut meat off bone which was very difficult for him using a dull butter knife. read more

A coworker recommended this little spot in Jasper and I'm so happy I checked it out. I've been here a couple times now. Everything about this southern kitchen is comfort, delicious, and intriguing! The atmosphere is simply modern, their food is mouth watering and the drinks are stellar! I'd highly recommend the tacos and their cocktail "lavender hour". PERFECTION. My first visit, I had two chicken and 1 brisket tacos. The flavors were just right, definitely leaving me wanting a bigger stomach so I could've enjoyed a few more, haha. I also ordered the tots and their Mac and cheese. My second visit, I ordered their wings, tots, slaw and the "Rum Runner" cocktail. Kind of got off a major highway on our return trip to Wisconsin and ended up in Jasper Indiana. We decided to spend the night and tour the town. This small town doesn't disappoint from its quietness to its culinary choices. We settled on the restaurant serving BBQ named Oink. This restaurant was by far one of the best BBQ places we've ever eaten at. The staff was super friendly, drink selections were numerous and the menu was extensive. Our food arrived well presented and was more than we could eat. When we the check came I couldn't believe how inexpensive two meals with drinks cost. I hope I get lost in this historical town again sometime. read more
