There are so many Uniqlo stores everywhere! You guys are so lucky. This Uniqlo is located in the Fashion Valley Mall, an outdoor mall full of high-end and medium-end stores. It's on the upper level. Like all the Uniqlo locations that I've ever visited, this one is immaculate and organized. It's a pleasure to walk around and look at the well-made Japanese clothing. This is one of the smaller stores, so there isn't a huge variety like some of the other locations. But I found the things that I came for: the 3D mesh knit sweater in two different neutral colors, and another sweater in a neutral color. Uniqlo is great for basics and neutral things. One of my children thought I spent a thousand dollars on the clothes that I bought (he has no sense of money!), but no! The great thing about Uniqlo is that the clothes are great quality but the price is low. I love Uniqlo.

I find their dry tech shirts a steal for the price and they have comfy hoodies and outerwear. The neat part of this store is the self checkout. You put your entire bag in a slot and it can scan everything in the bag at one time. Never seen that and it sorta floored me. Definitely coming back!

No matter how tired you are or what's going on in your personal life- always take care of the customer! Make them feel welcomed, comfortable, be friendly! It's a store where moms will be suckers and buy adorable clothes- hint: we're likely to spend more the friendlier you are! My boyfriend and I both left there with a really uneasy feeling. I only left with a purchase bc when you return something for store credit you HAVE to use it same day. Interesting but okay. I'm 39 weeks pregnant and getting over a terrible cold. Finishing my last minute "to do's" I walked in with a bag of 3 outfits I received for Christmas that had Carter tags on them. It was 6pm on a Sunday and like I said, super pregnant and getting over a cold I threw my hair up and put on the most comfy sweats I owned. This girl looked at me like I was white trash and trying to pull a fast one on her. Not even realizing one tag said Macy's she just responded "if it says Macy's it won't scan in our system" (thank you captain obvious i figured that much, just didn't realize it until i got there). I told her "oh no problem I can take it to Macy's, do you think I can return these for store credit please?" From there on out our interaction was so awkward and cold. She was extremely unfriendly and seemed super miserable and annoyed that I was in her store. After picking out two cute outfits we used our credit and left- I believe I was the one who had to say "thanks so much, have a good night". Now a few hours later I told my boyfriend "we should shop there now for the baby, the clothes were cute and good prices". He responded "i don't want to go back, the ladies working were so rude". And he is a very easy going guy and doesn't let much bother him. Overall the store was clean and organized which is important as well. Just a major bummer with the service- a staff that is cold and doesn't make a customer feel comfortable while shopping is bad news bears for business. :( This place sucks

This place opens later than other San Diego Carter's at 11 which is super annoying. Kids get out of school at 11:55 so I never have time to go here in the morning and I'm definitely not driving over here at rush hour because the traffic is awful at all times, let alone rush hour. The layout of the store is also not stroller friendly. There are barely any spaces wide to navigate a regular stroller around and I'm always crashing into stuff because there is no room. I'm not a marketing expert but you'd think that a *baby* clothes store would encourage parents to be able to bring their *baby* in easily and have their hands free to be able to buy more things. When you have to carry your baby around, you have no hands to hold merchandise or look through things. When you have no room for your stroller, you get frustrated and leave. Lastly, the customer service just sucks. Not super friendly and never around when you need them. It seems they are always in the back or chatting with each other instead of being available for help. The line was three people long (which is long for that store and the checkout takes forever for whatever reason) and there was only one employee ringing up while two other associates were just having a conversation with each other across the store. Will always choose the El Cajon location over this one even though it's way farther away.

I moved away from San Diego 10 years ago, so I was in SD to spend Christmas with my mom. While in town, I wanted to go to Old Town to pick up my favorite food at one of the restaurants in Old Town, but I thought I'd look around at some of the shops since I've been away for so long. I stopped into the Johnson House and immediately wondered why I had never bought anything there. Everything in there is so fabulous. There was a purse there that was so shiny and pretty, and it kept calling to me: "You want me. Buy me. I'll be your Christmas present. I love you and I know you love me." Well... how could I deny that little purse a forever home? I bought it and used it that very night at a Christmas Eve dinner party. From now on, whenever I visit my mom, I'm going to go to the Johnson house and make a purchase. I can't wait to see what I'm going to buy the next time I'm in San Diego. :) P.S. My mom and I had Christmas buffet at Humphreys on 12/25 and I put my little purse on our table as a centerpiece. It was so pretty! The best part is that within five minutes, a customer walked past our table and told me that my purse made the perfect centerpiece! And it did! It really did! I LOVE my colorful gem purse. Thank you, Johnson House!

When we walked in, there was lots of sales being advertised on a lot of the racks when we walked in. Definitely makes a big difference since the clothing products here are definitely on the pricier end. My first time shopping at this retail store and they have a great selection related to swimwear!!! I was interested in buying a wetsuit and was also informed on the differences between the 4/3 and the 5/3 millimeters of the wetsuits. A 4/3 (4mm for the torso and 3mm for the arms) is better for moderate to cold water with higher flexibility, while the 5/3 is warmer and designed for colder, winter waters, and is slightly less flexible. My goal is to be warm as I don't want to feel too cold so I went with the 5/3. There's a good amount of fitting rooms that are good sized to be trying them on. My first time trying on wetsuits and I felt like a seal LOL!!! I purchased one but keep in mind that even with the clearance sale I got it for, it was $120+.
