Ordered this evening via Grub Hub…read more Food arrived hot and well packaged. Everything was so delicious, full of flavor, and cooked very well. I might say this is some of the best Indian food I've had in a very long time. Let's just go down the line: 1) Garlic Naan -- tasty and had a nice char in certain areas. Not as soft and buttery (which I was expecting) compared to other naans but it was still very good. Will order again. 2) Fish Pakora - fresh and fried very well. Coating was still crisp in some areas and fish was flaky and tender. Pairs well with the chutneys. 3) Saag paneer - creamy paneer, delicious fresh spinach with yummy spices. I really enjoyed that. 4) Pickle Stand (assortment of chutneys) - tasted fresh and homemade. Sooooo delicious -- had tamarind, lime, mint, and another sauce I can't identify at the moment. But yummy! 5) Lamb Kahrahi - this was my first time having this dish ever. Omg! The smokiness of the lamb which I guess is from the tandoor plus the sauce with tomatoes, garlic and ginger -- which you could taste -- was soooooo good!! Ima hafta add that to my rotation. The lamb was tender too. All around excellent dish. 6) half order of basmati rice. Just the right amount and a delicious base for the saag and lamb. The portions were great too. I couldn't have asked for a better meal via a delivery service. The driver was nice too. I can't wait to go there and dine in! I highly recommend!!

Dining area was fairly small, not sure if they had another Dining area elsewhere. Appeared to be clean. Our waiter didn't talk much, didn't look nice, but did checked on us for refills. Food itself was good and tasty, portion size was a little underwhelming for the price we paid. Our garlic naan was not very garlicky & was more than just slightly charred. My overall experience today was just ok, average. 3.9 stars from me.

Come early - they open at 5 - or reserve ahead, because this place fills up quickly. Initially we'd drop by while going to the beach but recently we've started booking ahead, especially when we bring friends. Everyone we've taken has been delighted to discover this restaurant - a few of our friends had lived in Santa Monica for years before ever venturing inside. Everything we've tried on the menu has been excellent. The first time we came, the kanpachi - their take on ceviche - was recommended to us, and now we order it every time. The lime and coconut dressing is divine. We shared konpachi and green papaya salad and it was a very affordable early dinner. Lately, when we come with friends, we've simply let the chef guide the menu, which has been a wonderful way to experience the restaurant. Definitely leave room for dessert. It's rare to find such light refreshing desserts without diary. And the service is close to perfect: warm and cordial without being sweet, attentive while leaving us to enjoy our food.

Ambiance is very romantic and nice Walking in, I was surprised to see it had a restaurant health grade of B, but wanted to continue with an open mind. As for the food: Grilled Prawns: Our favorite of the dishes. It was very flavorful and the sauce was very enriching. 100% recommend. Pork Belly Bao Buns sounds better than it is. Eat quickly as it can become soggy. Moo Ping Pork Skewers: really good paired with the lemongrass shrimp sauce. Would recommend. Vietnamese Cabbage Salad: Not much feedback very minty and not a fan of the rotisserie chicken. Maybe just not for me. Roti was very delicious

Found this place as I was looking for an affordable early dinner that would fill me up for the rest…read moreof the day. It ended up being one of the best things I ate all day! It was my first time trying Burmese food, so I had no idea what to order and just asked the young gentleman working there to pick something for me. He chose the Mandalar fried noodles with chicken and wow...he did not disappoint. The noodles were savory, filling, and packed with flavor, and the sauces on the side made everything even better. The move is to mix the fish sauce with the lemon juice into the noodles. Incredible flavor combo. The vinegary cabbage on the side was also perfect with it. The whole thing tasted really fresh and honestly felt very authentic. I didn't even think I was hungry enough to finish the whole plate, but I could not stop eating it. Definitely want to come back and try more!

Such a fun local spot in Culver City to explore Burmese cuisine…read more  Of course I had to get the tea leaf salad. This is a fantastically unique dish to this area of the world, where pickled tea leaves flavor a mix of fried grains, nuts, and seeds. There was a combination of textures from fried lentils, mung beans, peanuts, fresh tomatoes, and dried shrimp. This is a must order here, as it was unique and delicious.  We also got the Chicken Noodle Soup and the Beef Curry, which were simple and delicious as well. It was fun to look through their imported grocery goods while we waited to order as well. They have a very enjoyable outdoor patio to eat on, and it was an overall very enjoyable experience.
