Workers refused to come up to booth to give me my shoes back was standing there for 10 minutes with no help. Female worker, skinny, with curly black hair was giving me dirty looks the whole time while she was out skating instead of giving me my shoes back. read more

It would be a lot better on Wednesday if the music was skate-worthy. Its almost like the DJ plays music for a club crowd. We need skating music not a club mix rotation. There's no air conditioning, no fans facing the track, they do not rent inline skates and to top it off the track is rough in most areas.

I grew up at Ohio Skate, great memories. If you love skating or even if you don't I would definitely recommend. Great place for any party.

I used to enjoy skating here when I was younger, but the regulations that the workers have to follow are ridiculous. No plain color shirts without designs are allowed to be worn as a method to prevent gang activity, but it's very inconvenient. Admission and skates are supposedly separate, but I was made to pay $9 for entry and then an additional $2 for roller skates. When I was ready to leave, I was told I wasn't allowed to return my skates and get my shoes back without either a token to verify I had a ride or going to the front desk and showing them my driver's license and keys. Anyone under 18 was not permitted to even give back their skates, and that is the most ridiculous rule I've ever heard in my life. On top of that, the entire place was dirty and outdated. I would NOT recommend this place for a birthday party or anything in general. read more

Music was good and kids had fun but the place is absolutely filthy. The walls, floor and games were literally disgusting. It hasn't changed or apparently been changed since I was there last.... in 1992. Afraid we won't be going back. read more

This place is very good for kids it is clean the bathrooms are filthy and people fight a lot the ski Reeker or a person they're kind a rude

(Such a terrible experience, wish there was the option for no stars at all) My daughter went here with a group of friends yesterday and had an extremely terrible experience. Upon arrival, they were greeted by a woman, probably mid twenties to middle aged, with a terrible attitude. This woman showed no respect to my daughter and her friends and had no manners whatsoever. She had the tone of a know it all who had no concern of her surroundings or the impact of her actions on the business she worked for. After being rudely greeted, they entered the skating rink. They had never been to this place before and have said that they won't be returning based on their experience yesterday. They said that it was a madhouse, kids bumping into each other, cussing, screaming inappropriate language and phrases, and being flat out rude. The worst part about this is that none of the employees cared, they were out on the skating floor looking like they were having the time of their life, disregarding all of the terrible behaving children and teens around them. After an hour or two, my daughter and her friends had enough and wanted picked up. Keeping in mind that they have never been here before, thy headed to the place to turn in their skates. The man working at the counter mumbled something to one of the boys. He asked the man working to repeat what he said because he did not understand. The man rudely shook his head and did not repeat what he said, so my daughter and her friends got together to talk about what just happened and what they needed to do to return their skates in order to get their shoes back. From behind her friend's shoulder, my daughter saw the man shake his head and begin complaining about their unfamiliarity of the place's procedures to another young customer, although neither my daughter or any of her friends had ever been there before. The boy who talked to the man heard something about a skate tag, so they went up to the front desk, where the rude woman before was working and asked for a skate tag. The woman, once again, responded with a snotty attitude and no manners. After many questions about their ride home, the woman gave them their skate tags, seemingly throwing them at the group of friends because of the amount of disrespect she displayed . They returned their skates and left the building without being thanked for their business or greeted whatsoever. The staff and atmosphere of Ohio Skate Toledo has set a terrible example for the children there as well as their future businesses. Next time, we will be ice skating in Sylvania, where the staff is much friendlier and the overall atmosphere of the building is better. The experience was terrible and a waste of money and we will not be recommending this place to anyone and will not be returning. read more
