The Center has really gone downhill since I last went there…read more Ive NEVER written a review. To start off, entrance to both pools, basketball court and tennis court is 15 dollars. FIVE TEEN DOLL HAIRS PER PERSON. Not a bad price if you plan on using all of these experiences in one day of course. but if you're only going for a swim, I find this extremely appalling. considering I only used the day pass for a 5-minute swim outdoors, (crowed with nothing for adults to do) and then a 2-minute swim inside (loved it more as a child ((I used to come here for daycare while my mom worked)) this happened because the bikini I was wearing tied on my neck in the back, apparently this type of bathing suit is completely unacceptable. they offered me a shirt of SHAME. I'm sorry but i would never publicly shame myself like that, i do not find my OWN BODY inappropriate, I'd rather just be in the comfort of my own home instead of enjoying my day. also, there were BUGS!!!!!!! IN THE LADY'S SHOWERS!!!!! FLYS FLYS AND MORE FLYS. god is accepting of all. except if you are wearing a two-piece bikini. all the other people were extremely nice and were amazing. staff could be more welcoming. of everyone. very arrogant Christian's -1/10

What a disappointment that this campground does not support the rights of the LGBTQ community!…read more Before camping there with my wife of 20 years and our 10 year old son, I thought I'd reach out to the Director to make sure it would be a safe community for us. I just spoke with the head Pastor, and my family is "welcomed to use the facilities," but they do not support my civil marriage rights. I wonder how he would explain that to our 10 year old child, and how such a stance would prevent him from accessing health care within our family? How upsetting! I encourage everyone camping there to use your privilege and please consider raising this issue. Very unfortunate!

I really wish I could give this place a -5 stars for the way me and my brother were treated. With…read moreall of the racial tension going on in the world today the last place I thought I would experience this at was a golf course. We were minding our own business and not bothering anyone. A patron told us we were "slowing down" his game even though he was three holes behind us! Some guy with knee braces comes up to my brother and I on hole 11 and says "don't hit off the tee! you guys aren't following the rules." We were told each player must have their own clubs. (which is totally fine by us) The sad part is one of my high school teachers and her husband only had one set of clubs as well. Of course nothing was said to them. The two guys that were golfing in front of us only had a set of clubs as well. I didn't feel comfortable being here so I just decided it would be best if we leave. Apparently my kind isn't welcome here. No matter how respectful and kind you are.

IIt is with a heavy heart that I share, that after some 40 years of membership in this club, my…read morefamily are denied membership. You see, the club never communicated to my elderly parents that there was a banking issue with a dues payment, even though the gate attendants continued communicating that the dues were paid, allowing us entrance for several months before we became aware there was a problem. In my repeated attempts to pay the dues owed (handing them a credit card on the very day we became aware of the problem), I was referred to the board, but, at the same time, was told the board doesn't like talking to members (odd, given its a member owned club). The acting managers wouldn't accept payment, and refused to provide me any specific names of board members, their email addresses or contact numbers. Seemingly, there is no due process or recourse to resolve simple payment issues. Emails to the general mailbox have been ignored. I can't help but wonder why an elected / volunteer board wouldn't have a process to communicate payment issues. No emails. No snail-mail. No text. Your just out. Had I known the day Kim (one of the acting managers) made us aware of the issue, that it would be our last day at the club, I would have been more thoughtful about saying goodbye to that special place. For others who may be reading this, who also have fallen victim to the same fate at the hands of an incompetent board, with no regard for the members they claim to represent (especially the elderly ones)...I hope you have more luck that we have. I have a feeling the club has many financial issues and have seen publications online, indicating that This organization's exempt status was automatically revoked by the IRS for failure to file a Form 990, 990-EZ, 990-N, or 990-PF for 3 consecutive years. Is further investigation and due diligence are warranted and is this organization even registered with the IRS? I will be making a call to them to find out. Hopefully, the members will do better with future boards...
