Tell them when you get there, they text you to wait in the car and then when to come in. When I started it said the wait was 45 minutes; total was probably a little less than that, so don't check in super early. Waited inside for 15 or so after they texted to come in. Clerk was friendly and patient. Pretty much like getting a license: some questions, you sign and the kid signs, then gets a picture. A week or two later it will come in the mail. Not bad, and not a horrible wait or experience as far as these things go.

This location has also been known as the Worthington License Agency though it's above Worthington and probably closer to Lewis Center. All kinds of food options in the area and close to Polaris if you want to grab some food and do some shopping too.

It's super easy guys. It's a kiosk that you sign into with your license plate number and Social Security number and then pay with a credit card. You'll go through about a dozen or so screens which takes about 7 or 8 minutes in total. Once the kiosk has all your info and payment, it'll print out your new registration and license sticker and you're on your way. A user friendly government service? I've had bad experiences with rude BMV workers in the past, and so I begrudgingly went in to wait my turn to be abused. Man, was I pleasantly surprised! I was the fifth person in line, but it moved quickly because they had a staff member at each counter station. The clerk that waited on me (Allie) was so nice, and she and I were laughing about the process and the questions she had to ask: I wanted to change my hair color from brown to silver (it's actually both colors), but the only choices offered were either 'gray' or 'white.' Allie then said, 'but an option for eye color is 'pink!' My photo was predictably horrible...but that's on me and not their fault. It took just a couple of minutes to get my brand new 'mug shot,' and I was out the door. I imagine that their jobs are soul-crushingly boring, processing the same paperwork hour after hour day after day, but Allie made my visit pleasant rather than agonizing.
