The theory for whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) is that by immersing the body in extremely cold air for several minutes, you could receive a number of health benefits such as inflammation, diminish arthritis pain, assisting with chronic pain from degenerative disk disease and so on. So basically, I stood in an enclosed chamber with an opening for my head at the top, for three minutes!! The enclosure will drop to between negative 200-300°F. This place is amazing. I initially came in for the whole body Cryo. I workout regularly and found it helped recovery and eliminated soreness. I recently developed tendinitis in my elbow and was in a lot of pain. I called to inquire about a local Cryo session. The day I arrived at the session, I was experiencing significant pain. After the first session, the pain decreased substantially. I am in shock at how much this helped. I've since had two more sessions and will continue until my elbow is healed.
