My son Liam, has already learned so much in the few short classes he's gone to. Noah is such a great instructor, and gives full attention to the students in his classes, and gives expert training for both karate and jiu jitsu! I can't recommend this program enough, the instructors love Jesus, and it shows through how they teach their classes. If you've been wanting to try martial arts, I highly recommend Christian Karate & Jiu-Jitsu Academy South!

Five stars is not adequate to describe just how amazing our experience with Martial Arts Advantage…read morehas been. We cannot say enough good things about Chief Master Hammons, his wife Tracy, and all of the wonderful people that make up their outstanding staff. Our daughter will turn 6 this month and has been taking classes since February. In her classes, we have noticed that the instructors engage her in a fun and sometimes silly manner while still demanding that she show respect and discipline. Her character continually improves as a result of their dedication to teach not only the fundamentals of Tae kwon do, but also the character traits she needs to succeed in life. They create a fun-filled environment where she can learn martial arts. We are very pleased with the school and plan on enrolling another of one our daughters this winter. We would recommend Martial Arts Advantage to anyone; even if they aren't considering martial arts. The skills learned and character built are important for all children and can only make them better in anything they decide to pursue. We love our MAA family!

It should not be this difficult to cancel a child's membership. Instead of respecting their own agreement, they're making the process unnecessarily complicated. Families deserve transparency and businesses should honor the contracts they ask customers to sign. This has been an extremely disappointing experience.

Before she started with GDT she had a lot of struggles, such as attitude and school. We prayed for a long time to find the help our daughter needed. We tried many avenues but kept hitting dead ends. Long story short, since she started to attend GDT, her health improved, she is much more respectful and smile a lot more with adults, and she made it on the National Junior Honor Society at school. God is good. GDT is not only a friendly and safe dojo for kids to learn martial arts, the staffs teaches our kids to be respectful and kind towards everyone. And their workout is definitely worth more than the payment when it comes to our health benefits. I highly recommend GDT to everyone, especially for children who struggles with schools and social communication. God bless!!!

Most of the fitness equipment is located on the second floor. That's where they offer fitness group classes. They also have an indoor track.
