I have heard about this place for years and a lot of good things mind you. I had never been in…read morebefore and decided to give it a shot enrolling my then 3 yr. old daughter in karate. I was pleasantly surprised at the care they take in making sure the youngsters are ready to engage in such activity. My daughter has been in for a few months now, has since turned 4 and LOVES it. I like how they teach the kids as much about excerise, respect and how to behave at home as well as the martial arts. They want you to be engaged with them and let them know if the kiddos are doing good at home and at school and that behavior is factored into their success in the program here. For me this is well worth the invesment!!!

I miss the good old days when Apollo was fighting and we were training together. I may have been only a little kid back then, and that was a special time when everyone was respectful, awesome, cool, and freindly. Where we all shared common bonds as martial artists and were a part of a huge ninja family. The good old days.. I wish they'd come back. David "Pygar" Cardamone, is an awesome fighter from Apollo's Karate. One of the special things about David is that he fights without his glasses, and is near blind. He beats his opponments while near blind! check out his fights at http://www.youtube.com/theboors

I've not lived in Tulsa long and a lot of this area is new to me. As soon as I got to Cohesion BJJ and Judo I met the owner Steve. He was amazing! He answered all my questions I had about the academy and BJJ and trust me I had a lot of questions. Steve is patient and kind. When all the other people got there they all spoke about how they have so much fun there and how they have learned so much from Steve. It was like joining a family. My first lesson from Steve was great. He is a wonderful professor. He explained everything. I now know the difference between BJJ & Judo. You can tell that this is his passion because of his knowledge, ability to speak about the art, and his professionalism. If your new to the whole BJJ and/or Judo like me, I would highly recommend going to Cohesion BJJ and Judo.

Steve is really good with the kids and my son is learning so much in the short time he has been attending. We had full intentions of checking out other academies. But when we tried out Cohesion..it just felt right. We immediately felt like part of the family. And that is important to us. My son is devastated if we cannot attend class. And that tells me all I need to know. If you are looking for a BJJ academy and you are on the fence. Come check out Cohesion. Give them a chance to earn your business.
