Dr. Kim is a truly gifted dental professional and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found him shortly after moving to Hawaii. He is smart, an engaged and active listener, and has very honed and precise technical skills. He really takes the time to get to know you as a person, not just a patient, and he uses this time to address whatever concerns or apprehensions you might have. In the past, I've had many problems with traditional dental preparations and chemicals. His methods and materials are so biocompatible that I don't even bother to ask about them anymore; I just know what he is using is going to be fine. A great doctor, however, is only as good as his support staff--thankfully Dr. Kim's staff is the best! From the moment you enter the door, the staff looks after you like you are a dear friend in their home. Filled with Aloha, warmth, and professionalism, I can't imagine a nicer group of human beings assembled in one location! Dr. Leong made me feel comfortable right away and explained everything very clearly so I could understand my options. I've been to many different dentists here on the island, but I can honestly say he's the best dentist I've seen. A lot of dentists make you feel like they only care about the money, but Dr. Leong truly listened to my concerns and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable throughout the treatment. She was also gentle when flossing my teeth. First off, the office is immaculate, clean and so well put together. The entire team is on it and are always attentive, present and genuine. Dr. Okuda's office staff and team are the best. They truly treated me like family, even when I first came into their office for a consultation.
