I went from dreading going to the dentist to enjoying my visits to this 'ohana! This is genuinely the BEST experience I've ever had with a dental office. Dr. Le and the rest of the staff are just fantastic. You can be candid about anything you might not like about your teeth or smile and she will come up with the best solutions that work for you. Last time I was there it was for a filling, and I mentioned how I was self-conscious about my canine teeth looking too sharp. She offered to shave them down on the spot and didn't charge me. What she did was so subtle that people who know me wouldn't really tell without me pointing it out, but it made me more confident. She also did a great job changing out an old silver filling and adding the white. I feel more confident in my smile than I have in over a decade. Not to mention, her staff is like none other. The hygienist is gentle and thorough. They all know my name and are super kind. You can tell they truly care about each patient. There are things they've done for me that have gone above and beyond that I could go on about, but this review would be a novel. I rave about them to everyone I know to go here if they're looking for a dentist. If you're looking for a dentist, don't bother continuing your search because you found it! I'm extremely picky when it comes to dentists. After going to 3 different dentists this past year, I finally went to see Dr Le (my friend recommended her) and I'm glad I did! Staff: Very friendly and helpful. I have a mainland insurance plan that local dentists are generally unfamiliar with. Other offices made me pay up front and file the claims myself. Dr. Le's staff took the initiative to call my insurance carrier and arranged to file my claims on my behalf. That's service! Facilities: Modern, technologially up-to-date feeling. Dr. Le's office is equipped with dental cameras and TVs. She shows you all your teeth one by one with the camera so you get to see what your cavity looks like up close. I like that. Needles and Pain: Dr. Le does that "shake lip" thing when she sticks the needle in your gums. She also told me to breathe deeply, and to focus on my breathing to ease any discomfort. Needles still hurt me, but I liked that she took time to try to make me feel comfortable. Cavity Fix End Result: I had a chipped tooth possibly resulting from a recent tooth extraction. Dr. Le cleaned it up and filled the crack. Then she showed me the end result with the dental camera. My tooth looked brand new! she even removed some stains I had on the tooth. I am very happy with the result. Magazines: Lots of gossip mags to browse through. I like that too. Referrals: Not sure if this still applies, but my friend said that she got movie tickets for every referral she's made. *ahem.. *hint* hint read more

I love Dr. Le and her staff! They are very friendly and gentle. They remember me every time I come and even comment on how much I've been brushing and flossing, which is amazing that they actually notice and remember specific details, which I've never had any dentist do. Their office is comfortable and cozy and not intimidating or too sterile feeling where you feel like you're under fluorescent lights and ugly white tile floors like in a hospital. It's very clean though so don't misread that. They're clean and every room is well appointed with cameras and videos and up to date equipment. The waiting room is small but cozy and there's lot of good reads in the magazine section. Dr. Le herself is very, very nice and friendly. They go out of their way to get the stains off my teeth and never make me feel guilty for all the coffee I drink. They also go out of their way to be very gentle to not let me feel pain because I freak out about needles. They have never made me nervous when they need to give me an injection (I've had a root canal and several fillings with them). They're great people! read more

Dr. Le is amazing! She is busy, but tries to take the time, every time, to make sure your concerns are heard and things are taken care of. She sensed I was stressed out the last time I was in and even did aroma therapy (at no cost) and had pillows for my neck and back for comfort, lowered the lights while I got good and numb before she started working... and she will always do what she can to make sure you are not in pain. I was referred to Dr. Le by a family member stating that she administers local anesthesia with very little and or no pain and discomfort. And that Dr. Le has just a beautiful soul. Dr. Le is a kind and professional dentist. She explains procedures and always answers questions regarding your dental care. She is very gentle and sensitive to your dental fears. However, current patients and anyone considering this dental office should be warned about the dishonest billing practice and unprofessional behavior of the office manager. It reflects very badly on the dentist and her business. Recent unfavorable changes in this office forced me to find a new dentist. There were more than a few staff changes, including the sudden disappearance of a well-loved hygienist. Phones were not answered and messages were not returned quickly. Her front desk staff were generally apathetic and unwilling to answer questions. Her office manager is rude, unhelpful and will literally shout over you. I realized a few days after a recent visit that I had been overcharged for the service. To summarize, I spent nearly a month making phone calls to the dental office and my insurance to figure out why I was incorrectly charged for multiple services and why I was suddenly receiving insurance summaries for services performed in 2014. I had to demand requested paperwork be emailed to me immediately when it did not arrive by mail and contact Dr. Le directly when my phone calls were not returned by the billing person (who is also the office manager). Bottom line: I was overcharged several times and 2014 claims were not submitted to insurance until early 2015, after I began questioning my invoice. Insurance will tell you the date a claim was received. So, the office manager submitted the claims late and lied to me when I questioned it. She took the money from my overpayment to pay an old claim; insisted insurance would not cover a particular service at all; and also insisted I was not owed any refund despite my objections. It seems she is incapable of understanding that accounting demands accuracy, and keeping your records straight is of utmost importance to the business. I was so upset by this that I wrote a letter to Dr. Le asking her to personally review the situation. One week later I had received no response. When I called, the staff person admitted that Dr. Le never reads her email; she depends on her staff to inform her of anything pertinent. The next day I found a new dentist and contacted Dr. Le directly, asking her to close my file, send it to the new dentist and mail my refund check. I received no response from Dr. Le, but later that day I did receive a reply to my week-old email and confirmation that the refund check was in the mail. Whoever sent the reply attempted to explain away my concerns, but it was obvious they just didn't get the point. I never received an apology from anyone in the office, including Dr. Le. Although an apology now would be meaningless, it may have prevented this review. Good customer service when faced with a complaint entails an apology, immediate correction and steps taken to prevent the same mistake. Otherwise, you lose business. So I warn current patients to check their bills carefully and question anything that doesn't make sense. Know what your insurance pays for and what your copay should be. If this was happening to me, it is happening to other patients. Being able to trust everyone in the office and knowing they value you as their client are important components of your dental care. This office no longer meets either standard. read more

I went to Dr. Le for a number of years and was very happy with the service. Once I had kids they went there as well and there was no problem until Dr. Le recommended my kids not get dental sealants which I've now heard from other dentist, is common practice for children. Long story short, after a number of visits to other dentists to fix a number of cavities we decided to find another dentist who practices a more preventive type of dentistry and haven't had issues since. Dr. Le is the first dentist that I have been to that lives up to the hype. We recently moved to the island and are so grateful that we found her. - The office is well located with garage parking on the lower level and is free with validation from your appointment (speak to the receptionist). - Her staff is professional and very nice. The teeth cleaning was effortless for my wife and I. Additionally, my wife's gums now do not bleed when she sleeps, something that other dentists had missed. They also caught a jaw alignment issue that was causing her headaches in the morning. We are so thankful. - Had fillings done with Dr. Le and she did a truly superb job. In comparing the experience to other dentists, I would say that her skill and capability with her instruments and technique is far above the rest. - She uses state of the art equipment and uses composite fillings which are much better for your health than those containing metals. If we ever move again, we will fly back to Dr. Le for anything that we need to have done. She takes time to make sure you are completely satisfied which is very important to my family. P.S. I went to see Dr. Le on the recommendation of a coworker. However, my experience has been frustrating and unsatisfactory. I received several fillings. One has come loose a couple of times, causing pain, and I am waiting to see the Dr. again to get it corrected. Another tooth that was filled ended up chipping on the side - the natural tooth broke off. Although the chip was later filled, I wasn't pleased to have lost the natural tooth. In addition to the complications with my fillings, the receptionists often seem apathetic. Each time I have called for an appointment I have been told there is no availability for at least 2 months. I would be more forgiving if the staff demonstrated more concern for a problem caused by their recommended treatment. I am definitely transferring to another dentist once the problems with these fillings are corrected for good. read more

Approximately two years ago, I cracked my entire front tooth on a concrete ledge . Just my luck right? Well now I was stuck with a giant hole in the center of my smile. My smile changed from bright and beautiful to broken and bizarre. You couldn't possibly imagine the embarrassment I had to endure. But thankfully, Dr. Le's office fixed my teeth up perfectly! They made me a new crown, matched it to my exact color, and it looks amazing! I actually think it looks better now then before I even cracked it. I went nervous and I didn't know what to expect, but the staff was so friendly and generous. They made me feel as if I was just coming in for a checkup. I am so relieved I found Dr. Le's office when I did, or else I don't know what I would have done. During the process, they were fast and efficient. There is no wasting time in this office.
