Wow, what an amazing experience my sister had today! Steven…read more& Serene, provide exceptional customer service, very educated in the industry and had an excellent selection of dresses for a great price! This was the third wedding dress shop we had visited today and am not going to lie was burnt out and at this point had lost hope that we were going to one find a dress and have a great experience. The other two shops weren't as magical as I had wished my sister would had experience for such a monumental moment in someone's life. Prior to our appt, Steven asked us so many questions. What dresses we were looking for, information about the bride which was already a good start. Heads up, due to covid, they are only taking appointments and yes they were wearing PPE & yes they had limitations to the guest you could bring (3). Which I would take a cap on guest versus having to do a zoom call like many of the other shops we called. Once we arrived, Steven & Sarita focuses all their attention on my sister, made her feel so special. Walked ya through their boutique, educated us, where honest about price, just phenomenal. Once my sister started trying on dresses, they were very attentive to our needs. They did an excellent job of making everyone feel special! They had so many amazing dresses, that it made it difficult to make up our mind on which one was our favorite. But eventually we made our decision and said yes to the dress!! We were all in tears!! Thank you Sarita & Steven for making my sister feel like every bride should on their special day, like a princess! ** they make all the alterations in house which was such a plus! **

She is so experienced with weddings and has a great sense of style yet at the same time, she listens to your own personal opinion and taste. I would not be able to have done the wedding without her! She helped us pick out mother of the bride dresses and coordinated accessories for each outfit. I brought in my wedding dress a few months before my big day and each fitting the dress was more perfect than when I had left it. She knew exactly what to do (I had taken other dresses to get altered at other places) but they were never as thorough as her. She is also an amazing hair and makeup artist. She was able to transform our hair into beautiful works of art. She is so talented and also so incredible kind. She went above and beyond on my wedding day to make sure everything was perfect! I couldn't have done it without her!

On a whim I heard about this place and figured it's for a good cause and I could try on real wedding dresses to have the "moment." I did t expect to find anything given I am 6ft tall. Imagine my shock when the third one I try on is it. It felt like a bridal gown and I've never felt so beautiful before. The person working with us was so mindful of not upselling but instead encouraging to try things on since I just wanted the experience and haven't really done any shopping. I ended up trying several styles and silhouettes and was so surprised they had so many long enough for me. Definitely recommend. I'm over the moon that I found something as if it was made for me. It was also such a great price that I've still not had any buyers remorse. There's something to be said about the "moment" so if you're like me and not wanting to spend a lot and make a fuss over a dress, I recommend this place. You can easily justify it as it goes towards amazing work and the price really is fair. Not to mention the folks helping you are volunteers so they're there because they love helping and supporting the non-profit. Overall win!

Before you choose Sweet Lana for alterations, I recommend that you read this. I'd hate to be that…read moreperson who writes a bad review but this deserves to be shared. Svitlana is unprofessional, unorganized, and treated my wedding dress carelessly, which ended up with black stains on my dress. I purchased my wedding dress at LUV Bridal in Tempe. They provided me a list of 3 seamstress who could do my alterations. The woman who sold me the dress raved about Svitlana, who was first on the list for recommended alterations. Svitlana has great reviews on Yelp and Google so I didn't bother looking elsewhere. I visited Svitlana a total of 4 times. The first couple times were fine but she was ALWAYS late. When I arrived to my 3rd appointment, she wasn't even home yet and the door was locked. I waited outside for about 10-15 minutes until she came home. When I tried on my dress, I noticed multiple black stains in the front of my wedding dress. One of them looked like black oil stains. I asked her where the stains came from but she had no idea. From the day I purchased my dress, I never took it out of the bag until I took it to her for alterations. Svitlana claimed that the black stains came from the LUV Bridal bag. But when I called LUV Bridal, they were not aware of wedding dresses getting stained from the bag. She said she'd try to get the stains out but she's not a professional. I didn't even trust her to clean it. I added sleeves to my dress so I needed to stop in for a 4th time. The sleeves were too tight and I could barely move my arms. By the time I picked up the dress, I had to leave for my flight for my wedding that week, so I couldn't ask her to adjust the sleeves. She tried to clean the stain and it ended up with a lighter white ring around it, and the stain was still there. She played it off saying that the stain is small and took a picture to show that it's not noticeable from afar. I'm upset that I had multiple black stains on my dress in the first place. I understand that my dress will get a little dirty at some point, but that should happen AFTER the wedding, not before by a seamstress. When I found a dry cleaner in Houston that would try to clean my wedding dress, she told me that the black stains appear to be burn stains, so they couldn't take it out. I was horrified. When I tried on my dress at the dry cleaners in Houston, she noticed that the lining of my dress was not properly altered so she did a rush job for me. Thankfully, my dress was ready just 2 days before my wedding day. I paid so much money to get my wedding dress altered, and I had to do even more work to it afterwards. I'm disappointed and upset beyond belief. I called LUV Bridal to explain the whole story, and it turns out a few other brides have experienced similar issues with Svitlana. She has now been removed from the list of recommended seamstresses. I hope this review helps future brides.
