One of the best donut places I've been too lately. These donuts are pretty good. There's a great variety of flavors. Some traditional and a lot of very creative creations. Light, fluffy and filling. It's hard not to eat just one. Donuts are made fresh and you can tell all the ingredients are top notch. They smell and look great. Drop in and pick up a half dozen or so. You won't be disappointed.

I absolutely loved the donuts here. The donut itself isn't too doughy. It has the right amount of fluffiness? Soft and not to heavy either. Not as light as Krispy cream but is more perfect? Haha. I can't explain it but it's worth getting if you are in Winnipeg. I got a variety of donuts. The usual glazed, a vanilla filled, chocolate filled, Boston cream and everything "bagel" donut. DO NOT PASS UP THIS EVERYTHING BAGEL DONUT. Yes, caps are necessary because I will continue to crave this donut until I can eat some again. I'm from BC so I can't just drive there when I want it. Anyways, the donuts were Halloween themed at this time and had delicious gummy candies on them as well. No line when I went around 11:30am. Lots of parking as well. They only allow 3-4 customers at a time and are Covid safe. Great donut shop!!! Can't wait to be back in Winnipeg just to get more.

My partner, friends and I have started this amazing tradition where whenever we travel for powerlifting competitions we stop at local doughnut shops and this time around it was Oh Doughnuts in Winnipeg. We got a dozen doughnuts during our visit, one box for us and one box to share and make friends with. I had chosen the skor and the lemon meringue doughnut. The filled doughnuts at Oh Doughnuts are definitely generous with their filling and all 3 of us had our fillings over fill and either fall out or almost while we were eating them. I should mention that while most of the doughnuts are your typical sweet doughnuts, Oh Doughnuts did have a Everything doughnut that was savory and delicious and would be the perfect for breakfast... everyday! My doughnuts were great. The doughnuts aren't the fluffiest doughnuts I have ever had but also not the most deep fried or dense. I would say that they are a good medium based doughnut that is better than your typical safeway doughnut but still have a slight deep fried grease texture to them. Oh Doughnuts also have a HUGE selection comparatively to most speciality doughnut shops that have their daily 6 to 10 doughnuts. Picking was hard! The girl that was working that day was super sweet and helpful though. If you ever end up in Winnipeg, or maybe you live here, make sure you go visit and have a sweet treat.

Why would anyone give anything less than five stars here. You're coming for a doughnut. From a local shop. This isn't some frozen trucked-in from a massive warehouse operation. This is the real deal. Fresh made every single day with new flavours to keep you coming back for more. Don't be surprised if you get there too much after lunch and they're sold out. Not making mounds of crappy doughnuts to fill a trash bin isn't the name of the game here. Two downfalls here: One is the accessibility - none. It's downstairs so anyone with mobility issues can't participate. Two is the coffee. It's just standard Van Houtte in a machine but you're here for the doughnuts so stay on task!

Having visited Calgary and Edmonton in January 2017 to find Tim Hortons still the only viable Canadian choice for fried Dough it was with modest expectations that Oh Doughnuts was visited immediately after lunch at The Don Restaurant, the space below street level at 326 Broadway severely lacking for charm in terms of decor though service was efficient and pleasant. Owned and operated by Baker Amanda Kinden, her goal to provide Manitoba with a better brand of Doughnut hatched in 2016 and developed since into a sustainable business that even goes so far as to recycle fryer Oil to Biofuel, it is by way of a board outside (and social media) that daily flavors are announced, some sixteen or so including several Vegan choices ranging from simple glazed rings to Chicago Popcorn Mix. Higher priced than big chains or even local Artisan competitor Bronuts, though the use of locally sourced Organic Eggs, Flour and Butter no doubt justifies the cost, it was taking a half-dozen elsewhere that indulgence began by way of the Turtle, a soft Brioche base with plenty of spring topped in all the appropriate ingredients while the follow-up Vegan Pershing achieved a near-identical crumb structure as a coil around Cinnamon topped in tangy "Yogurt" Glaze. Frankly shocked at the Vegan Doughnut's texture, another Egg-and-Butterless masterpiece found in a Bismark stuffed with Dark Chocolate and topped with sugary Peanut Butter, it was transitioning back to three un-restricted Bismarks that a difference finally was noted, the base more buttery and able to stand up to diverse textures such as pureed Blackberries and creamy Key Lime, though by far the best was one called Brown Butter Banana Cheesecake that had precisely the right consistency to earn its naming and not a whole lot of added sweetness which thus let ripe Fruit flavors shine.

Excellent donuts! They have a variety of flavours which also includes gluten free and vegan options. I personally love the Ube flavour.

Most expensive, unethical, flavorless donuts in Winnipeg. Awful location, horrible service. Never again.

The staff and cashier were pretty friendly and helpful but their was an air of "I hope you behave…read morein here." The food is absolutely satisfying and delicious. They seem pretty open to different types of people and this brings me comfort. The first time I went inside this cute little doughnut shop I was on my way to volunteer at the animal shelter and I stopped here for a snack and it was late in the day and they didn't have much in stock. I tried a doughnut with berries inside and it was delicious. The shop smelled a bit weird though. The second time I stopped in here it was earlier in the day and they had a lot more variations and types of doughnuts. I even got to order a very tasty and warm rose tea with milk per instructions because I like tea with milk. The Eggnog flavoured doughnut was yummy and the vanilla cranberry doughnut was also very delightful.

If you've never been to Oh Doughnuts in Winnipeg, then you are missing out! They have two…read morelocations, and I had went to the Taylor one (the other is on Broadway). My usual go-to is their everything bagel doughnut, which I highly recommend. However today, I wanted to try their maple crueller and also ended up getting their crOHnut for the very first time. The maple crueller was soft and eggy, and the crOHnut was equally as soft and airy on the inside, tasting both sweet and salty. The crOHnuts are only available from Thurs-Sat. And the doughnut flavours usually changes daily so the best way to find out what flavours they have that day is by checking out their Instagram posts.

Krispy Kreme is finally in Winnipeg! It opened in June of this year. I don't like grand openings,…read moreso coming here a few weeks later is helpful. This location is at Outlet Collection Winnipeg. It's across from the Liquor Mart. Across the street is IKEA. It's the only Krispy Kreme in the prairies, between Delta, BC and Mississauga, ON. You can get your outlet therapy done first, and then down donuts after you're done. You can also do what I did and just drop by to check out the donuts. I decided to go through the drive-thru. There were many staffers outside guiding everyone. A male staffer asked me whether I was doing the walk-in or drive-thru approach. I said the latter. The former was roughly a 20-minute wait. The latter was double the time. It was 30°C. It was hot and humid. I also knew that rain was coming. I preferred being in an air-conditioned rental vehicle. I also don't have an umbrella. The wait wasn't bad. During the pandemic, I waited three hours for donuts at the Krispy Kreme drive-thru by my workplace in Mississauga. A 40-minute wait was nothing in comparison. It's also Winnipeg, with a smaller population than the greater Toronto area. Sure enough, while waiting in line, I saw dust blowing about. Dark clouds were now over us. The rain came pouring down. Naturally, it was my turn to order. It felt like I was ordering in a mini monsoon. The man over the speaker said to please wait. That's never good when rain is coming at you sideways and you have to crack your window open to speak. I ordered the following items: - A large iced vanilla coffee - Six donuts At the Mississauga location, when I say assorted, it means that staff choose the donuts on my behalf. I said assorted here and the man didn't get it. So, I went with getting three strawberry iced and three glazed raspberry-filled donuts. For the former, he thought that I had said chocolate. More time wasted. I let him know that I was half wet from the rain. I wish that I were kidding. I'm not. I really needed a towel. I got a nice woman at the window. I had to tap twice to pay. The machine did not recognize a drenched credit card. I had to dry it off with a napkin before it worked. I got my donuts and iced coffee. I thanked her and parked in front of the liquor store. I had a couple of donuts and waited for the downpour to stop a bit. The donuts were so fresh and yummy. My favourite is the raspberry-glazed donut. It's the yummy raspberry jelly filling with the glazed donut that makes this donut so special. I also love the strawberry iced donut. So fresh and delicious. Simply scrumptious. If I were here for another week, I'd get a dozen or more. I'm sort of glad that I'm not. I'd probably need a new wardrobe after inhaling a bunch of delicious donuts. The iced vanilla coffee was cold and hit the spot. There was little sugar in it, which was perfect for my needs. The vanilla wasn't as strong as I'd like the flavouring to be. It does have milk. If you are lactose-intolerant, you may want to order it without the dairy. I had a good experience, minus the downpour that accompanied me at the drive-thru. I'd love to return when there's no precipitation and get a dozen donuts next time. (256)
