The best bakery in Prague higher prices reflect the great quality and the Starbucks nearby is great for a coffee to pair with your pastry.

What an adorable shop to grab a cute and delicious donut! We stumbled by this place on our way to…read morethe hotel and we're so glad we did! The service was great, super friendly and helpful. It was so hard for us to choose which donut to get. A lot of variety to choose some with some classic options like Boston creme and sprinkles but then unique donuts like the ones we ended up choosing and lemon meringue. I went with the creme brulee, it was so good! I loved the crispy burnt sugar on the top reminiscent of actual creme brulee. It was stuffed with a creme and just the right amount to savor the crispy edges of the donut. My husband got the peanut butter donut. Super rich and it was made with real peanut butter, it was really good! It's nice when places use high quality ingredients. There was so much peanut butter stuffed into it too! The Reese's candy piece on top was a nice touch. Definitely a cute spot to check out and the girls working at the store told us they are only located here in Czech and in Ireland. If you need something sweet at a reasonable price (about 50 czk a donut) this is your spot.

Ok, how can I explain this!! We got to this donut shop by luck and believe me we where so glad we…read morearrived here. The donuts are stupidly delicious we had to come back the next day. The first day my and my wife had 1 each I had the Rich Chocolate Ganache and it was delicious it had milk chocolate on top and dark chocolate filling did not feel like to much at all and it had a lot of chocolate, my wife had the Creme Brulee and it had the cooked hard sugar on top WOW. But the most impresive element is the dough is soft and smooth but with body to hold all the ingredients just perfect. 2nd day we cane back and ordered 3 donuts when the lady that attended me the. Day before came by later and ask me what I got I told her that I got another because the Chocolate Ganache was not available, immediately she offered to make one for me and gave it as a courtesy. Well I would definitely recommend this place, donuts and service are 5 stars. The only bad thing is thar we are from Puerto Rico so we will not have the chance to have them more often. I know is a long review but sometimes this small shops does not get the recognition. Good luck to Off Beat Donut Co.

I tried the famous chimney cake with chocolate gelato and it was soo good. Not even lying when I…read moresay that I was able to eat the entire thing in few mins, devoured it till the last bite. Good food has a lot of options, including vegan and gluten free for chimney cakes. The service was pretty quick and attentive. Definitely stop-by this place if you're in Prague and would like to try some local delicacies.

Yelp Review 2023 #89:…read more Chimney cake in English, Trdelnik in Czech, kurtoskalacs in Magyar...they're the delicious pastry cooked on spits and sprinkled with sugar and walnuts. I've had Good Food bookmarked for years and I finally got the chance to go over the holidays. I had two chances of going to Good Food at 2 different countries: Czech Republic, and UAE but the one in Dubai Mall closed in 2022. I've had chimney cakes in the US and Canada but it's quite different because they use modern equipment instead of grilling them using charcoal. If you want traditional chimney cakes, you really have to go to the source: Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania. You'll see them at Christmas markets in Vienna too but that's not where they are from. My hotel was within a 10-minute walk from Good Food which located in a tourist area. So, it does get super crowded here. They have a few tables and chairs and it's quite hard to eat a chimney cake while walking through crowds. The chances of you getting bumped and dropping your chimney cake is very high. You can get just a chimney cake (pistachio, original, chocolate, gluten-free original), gelato or sorbet (chocolate, pistachio, vanilla, strudel, salted caramel, charcoal, piña colada, mango, raspberry) or chimney cake with gelato/ sorbet in different combinations. I wanted to get a savory chimney cake and a sweet chimney cake and I told myself I wasn't going to get the double chocolate chimney cake. As soon as I got to placing my order, I felt my mouth moving and I apparently said "double chocolate" and by the time I realized I wanted pistachio, it was too late! I felt pressured because of the line behind me. I paid and got my trdelnik within minutes. I was lucky to get a table but you have to squeeze in because the tables are smooshed together - if you have thick winter coat, you'll definitely brush against the table next to you. Double Chocolate Trdelnik: Chocolate chimney cake, chocolate gelato, brownies, and fresh strawberry topping. The chimney cake itself was delicious. The chocolate gelato was rich and leaned towards dark chocolate which was nice so it wasn't sweet on sweet. I would've been ok without the brownies. The strawberries were nice to give your taste buds a break from chocolate on chocolate on chocolate. Like I've mentioned, this was against my plan but I still liked it. 4/5 When I went, they were only taking credit cards. When I come back, I should get pistachio!!!
