Nice looking cafe owned by the same people that own the pho restaurant next door. I came here with my cousin for breakfast and had a bizarre time ordering though given the mix of Vietnamese and Czech items being sold by the exclusively Czech staff. The confusion came from when I tried to order cafe sua da (filtered coffee with condensed milk over ice) in English and was trying to describe it. The counter guy nodded and rang it up with our food items. When the coffee arrived, it was hot and came in a beaker to pour into the cups (no ice). When I asked for the condensed milk, the waitress told me that Vietnamese coffee isn't drank with milk while my cousin and I stared bug-eyed at her and exclaimed "We're Vietnamese!". Heh. My avocado toast was good even if the bread was a little tough. My cousin enjoyed his peanut butter banana toast.

great place to take artsy IG photos - avocado toast, custard donut, sweet sour pork belly rice bowl, and passion fruit lemonade

Coming to Cafefin was one of my biggest excitements when booking my ticket to Prague. I stumbled upon their instagram a few months ago when my friend posted a photo, and from then on, I was set on trying this cute, hip, trendy cafe. I met my friend on a Friday at 11:30am, and the place was already popping' with only a small coffee table and two chairs left in the corner. I plopped down and waited for my friend while examining the menu (bonus for having an English version too!) While I was sitting in my corner, I saw two tables leave, and before I could even get up, the people flowing in snagged them. I told the servers and they asked me if I was there before them, in which I responded I had been waiting in the corner they put me in for the past ten minutes. They didn't do anything to help me get a table. My friend finally arrived and we anxiously watched the floor until we saw someone get up, and we bolted to secure this proper table. There are two menus - a breakfast menu from 8am-12pm, and a lunch menu afterwards. My friend wanted something from the lunch menu, so we told the serve we'd wait another 10 minutes until we could order from that menu, and she obviously seemed annoyed, so I ordered a slice of the banana bread while we waited (because I know what it's like as a server to have a table take up precious space and not order anything). I was handed an already plated banana bread that looked eerily familiar - this was the same banana bread that I had seen a server previously drop off to the table next to us, and then pick up from their table a few minutes later (maybe because it wasn't what she ordered, or because she didn't want it anymore). In retrospect, I should have questioned why I was given someone else's leftover food, but I was too elated about finally getting to try this cafe that I had been dying to try, that I just ignored it. We paid separately at the counter, and the server didn't know what I had ordered, got the order wrong, and forgot one of my menu items and had to charge me another time. Food: Banana Bread 45czk - I'm used to my mum's warm, moist, banana-y banana bread, so when I cut into this hard, dry, and almost cookie-like banana bread slice, I was a little shocked. The flavor wasn't too bad, but I was so taken aback by the dryness that I can barely remember anything else about it. Custard Filled Donut 55czk - Seeing their Instagram posts about these donuts was one of the main reasons I wanted to come to CafeFin. The custard was delicious, but the donut, like the banana bread, was sadly a little too dry, and I ended up having to toss all the parts that weren't coated in the custard. Avocado Toast with Scrambled Eggs, Red Onions, Arugula, and Goat Cheese 165czk - this was the best thing I had at this cafe, and the reason I didn't give a lower rating. There was a generous amount fresh avocado, and the bread underneath soaked up the creamy avocados. The bite that came from the raw red onions went well with the creamy avocados and scrambled eggs, and the sharp taste of the arugula was cut back by the equally strong goat cheese flavor. I had looked forward to coming to CafeFin for such a long time, and I'm so disappointed that my experience ended up being sub-par :(

One of my favorite places while visiting Prague, I went back 4 times! The halloumi toast is my favorite! Their coffees are also great and there's lot of fun drink options like a mango matcha! The food was always amazing and it was also a great place to work. It gets very crowded on weekends/lunchtime so be mindful of when you go if you don't want to wait.

Walked by this cafe and saw that it's flavors are influenced by Vietnam. So, of course... I needed to see what this was like. The cafe, itself, is so cute. It's decorated with photos of the family, and really has a cozy feel to it. The cafe was packed when I was there but it moved fast. The menu comes in Czech and English, which helped. I ordered the Vietnamese Ragu on Toast and a matcha latte. I wasn't impressed with the Ragu but it was okay. The toast became soggy, and I feel a better alternative would be to have the Ragu in a cup with pieces of toast on the side (this is how it's traditionally eaten). The sauce it came with (sour cream) went well with the dish. The matcha latte was good. The presentation of their dishes is everything. I would say that prices are also pretty darn good. I would come back to try a banh mi :)

Wonderfully authentic Vietnamese food. They have breakfast and lunch options . The staff doesn't speak the best English but what do I expect ? I'm in Prague. Lol. Will come back for breakfast.

Absolutely obsessed. Banh Mí was so. Good. Crisp bread on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Loved the presentation too. This cafe is cozy yet open, exposed wires add a fun industrial touch. Opened by a local Vietnamese guy Jin this cafe/coffee shop has exploded. The coffee is fantastic and i can't wait to go back- great pours and great options! I got a oatmeal milk cortado and it hit the spot. My brother got a latte and it had a great swan pour! My brother got a warm noodle dish and it had such variety of flavors and textures. Highly highly recommend this place!

Newly opened cafe at JZP (Jiřího z Poděbrad square). It belongs to the same owners as the best Pho Bo place in Prague which is only 20 meters from there. It seems that this place will focus on younger generation or people who like to use cafe as their office for work. Comfortable chairs, plenty of plug ins and Wi-Fi. Decoration is nice. It´s a bit french style mixed with hipster style. There are some photos on one wall taken by manager at his last trip to Vietnam (he is from there). Bathroom is clean and pretty fancy. They have a good coffee, some unusual kinds of bottled beer and limonades, pretty good choice of sweet things, soup, 4 kinds of Banh Mi baguettes and other things. I had just a coffee so far so I can really say what is the quality of food. Only coffee because there is one thing which doesn´t allow me to give them four stars. They don´t accept cards so far. Manager said that they will but not yet. So I am pretty sure that I will add that one star at some point. Also if those baguettes will be really so delicious as he says.

Very good food, nice coffee and I loved the design. It was full and we were lucky that we got a table (tuesday at 9am) so I guess you have to wait on the weekends. Only the service was very slow.... Ifbyou have less than hour and the restaurant is full better not come

This is my favorite area in Prague- Jiriho z Podebrad and I came here to Cafefin for a nice breakfast as I'm a breakfast lover. First of all I have to say the service here is quite nice. I ordered avocado toast. It surprised me with variety of ingredients they put on the fresh crispy bread. The taste is little bit spicy as I found some chili flakes in it. To my surprise the main ingredient of it- avocado was very poor. Just a very thin layer on the top of the bread. While another ingredients like some kinds of berries, pistachio, tomatoes, pomegranate seeds were not missing. Overall satisfaction is good. I ordered fresh juice it was nice. However when I asked for just a glass of tap water, I've been told they don't serve it. Last week I was in NYC and had avocado on toast in Gatan so if I compare it was much more richer in avocado.

This Café offers an interesting and new concept paired with amazing Vietnamese specialties. You can choose from Vietnamese coffee variates, freshly made exotic juices and lemonades, hot teas made of rice and coconut and matcha drinks. The food invites you to try fresh and exotic tastes. The staff is really nice and professional. If you can't chose what to eat and drink (which will definitely happen since you will fall in love with EVERYTHING on the menu) they will help without hesitation. I'm so happy that i found this little treasure in Prague which enriches the cafe culture in a unique way. It doesn't only deliver amazing drinks and food but also an amazing ambient and experience. Coming here will just make you happy

I am in love with this Cafefin! It is a newly opened coffee shop near the heart of the city, but pretty far away from the touristy part. The area is peaceful and the coffee shop is very well-designed: beautiful and conversation-friendly. I have looked everywhere for a good matcha latte (except expensive starbucks, alright). Other than that, peaceful music and friendly staffs have won my heart.

A pleasant bistro that serves Vietnamese-styled light food, they have great baguettes as well as coffee. I love to come here for breakfast since the place is not very busy and the day starts just perfectly in here. Even though the sandwiches are quite big, make sure you have enough space also for their wonderful cakes - these are a must!

We all started off with drinks - I'm not a wine person, but the prosecco was delicious and a great wine. While I typically would subtract a star for slow service, as we had some issues with people receiving drinks and appetizers, we were a large group with only a couple members of the waitstaff taking care of us. Overall, I found them very effective. For the entrees, we were given the duck confit. WOW! So so good. It was tender and perfectly cooked, and served with pickled cabbage that complemented it perfectly. It also came with a few potato dumplings which in general are a bit heavy so I didn't finish those. We ended the night with a dessert selection where I along with most of my cohort went with the Misa dessert, a whipped cream-sponge cake filling surrounded by hardened chocolate. It was delicious, but quite rich and I struggled to finish. So, so good though. The rich history of the restaurant is also absolutely fascinating and I'll recommend this restaurant!
