The cashier was super friendly and smiley. And just good vibes overall. The inside is very cute and very much gives the title as soon as I received my food. It was piping hot fresh. I took it home and it was still hot. The fish was amazing. Very crispy crunchy the batter tasted well seasoned, and it went perfectly with the hot sauce and the tartar sauce. The onion rings were off the charts amazing. I wish they gave me more. I would say the chicken tasted like a basic cafeteria chicken like it was frozen before and it wasn't homemade, but the fish definitely made up for it. The tartar sauce was delicious and the ranch! I would definitely give this place a 9.5 out of 10 just because the chicken wasn't that good but the fish was perfectly made and for the price I will definitely go back.

The texture on the batter was incredibly thin and remained crispy even when doused with malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The hush puppies were savory and not too dense, a nice bite in between fish and fries. She even threw in an extra piece of fish in our meals and they're already huge! I got a lot of stuff to try everything out but I was satisfied after one piece of fish and a couple prawns and mushrooms. No complaints at all, everything was on point.

The food was good, but the customer service was absolutely ridiculous…read more I ordered one piece of fish with tartar sauce, sat down, opened my food, and was literally about to eat when the employee told me I needed to move to the back because they were "about to get busy." Excuse me? I ordered ONE piece of fish. I would have been done in a few minutes. And the funniest part? I ate my fish and left, and there was STILL only one other person in the restaurant. She then proceeded to explain to that customer how busy they get and how people don't understand that the front seating is for people waiting for their food. Who the fuck does she think she is? I'm a paying customer, not someone camping out at your table. If you need the seats because you're genuinely packed, that's one thing. But asking someone who just received a single piece of fish to move when the restaurant isn't even busy is just rude. There's a way to communicate with customers without making them feel like they're an inconvenience. The fish itself was good. The attitude was not. Unfortunately, good food doesn't excuse treating customers this way. 1 star.

Gentle man took our order was very patient 3.5/5 Food- Food was cooked throughly (not overcooked), crispy and crunchy, and not super drenched with oil. I preferred lighter battered due to the heavy battered that is used but overall their food is good. Everyone has raved about this place and I've passed this place hundreds of times. My mom and ai decided to drop in after the movies. We are not displeased nor pleased. It's depending on tastes buds. Ours unfortunately didn't hit the tonsils like we thought it would. Going back is out of the questions due to the breading for us. Food wasn't bad. I love their absolute friendly services. If you're ever in the area stop by and give them a try. We all don't have the same taste buds. Appears to be some local favorites therefore you might not have to search no further for your fish and chips

We mixed and matched the malt vinegar, home made tartar, cocktail sauce and ketchup rotating between each bite. Plenty good chunks of fish versus the crunchy shell. I'll pass on the oysters next time because it was more crunch than meat. The very powerful kitchen vent prevented cooking smells from reaching the tables. It was more food than we needed. Would definitely go back in a few months. Can't eat this stuff too often, but it's darn good.

Our order-- Western Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries & a Peanut Butter Shake Old Fashion Melt with Fries & a Strawberry Shake Ranch for dipping The lady at the window was friendly. The food came, & honestly, it didn't look very promising. However, the humble, no frills appearance belies yumminess that delivered in that greasy spoon kind of way that satisfyingly hits the spot if that's what you're craving. The taste breakdown-- Fries--crispy & hot, unevenly salted, but overall good Western Bacon Cheeseburger--the mister really enjoyed it, thought the patty tasted "meaty" Old Fashion Melt--the patty size doesn't match the bread size, but it means you get some buttery bites of toast, the cooked red onion added some sweetness & still some crunch, the acidic mustard cut through the fattiness of the meat & rich cheese, surprising flavor payoff from the sum of its parts Ranch--really thick & creamy like sour cream, had a nice tang, very mild & not very herbaceous, taste reminded me of Boursin Strawberry & Peanut Butter Shakes--great flavor with a thick, drinkable texture We would stop by again for some indulgent eating.

My family dropped by for lunch and were warmly greeted pretty quickly. Parking was easy since there is a small lot off the main road. There's plenty of seating indoors with high chairs available if needed. Prices are very reasonable especially for the amount they give you. We opted for a 3 piece fish and chips, two extra fish, and a cup of clam chowder. The food came out relatively quick and piping hot. I was surprised with the quantity of fish they gave us and they even added a fried zucchini and onion, yum! The soup and fries were yummy but it was the fish that really stood out to me. The pieces were big and juicy with not too much batter. The batter was perfectly crispy on the outside. My husband, toddler, and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The service was friendly and wonderful too. We will definitely be back!
