During the warmer months, a pool to spend time on this hot Texas days with kiddos. It's also a fabulous PET FRIENDLY PARK! Basketball area, huge pond with ducks, a pavilion and a plethora of seating areas! Trees to cool you down. Along the walking path are little workout areas with equipment. This is one of these small parks that you probably wouldn't find unless you'd spotted it on Google…read moremaps. The primary driver to come here is the fact that it sits on the water. There's really not much to see here and there is no boat ramp. It is however, a nice spot if you want to put in a canoe or lay on an inflatable raft. It is a fairly primitive park, but it does have some picnic tables and benches, even a set of swings. The lake water itself is kind of green and murky and not very cold. There's a handful of paved parking spaces, but otherwise just park on the grass. There's no cost to get in and no camping or fires are allowed. No public bathrooms either. It's just a quiet out-of-the-way place where you can go swimming or watch the boats. Informative videos and photos below.

Toilets locked with no explanation or directions to another facility. Would have great views with some pruning of bushes on periphery of sites. Impression......no one cares.

I've been climbing and belaying…read morelonger than this place has been in business, but I need to wait for certain days of the week and a specific time to enroll in a safety course that I have literally been TEACHING for decades. I'm limited to your autobelay routes and bouldering routes. Fail. A "members only" piece of workout equipment in my face on the first floor? Not ideal. Move this stuff somewhere else. It does not give a welcoming feeling. Only ONE staff person working in the entire gym? If there was a second worker then we didn't notice it because they aren't in any kind of uniform. You're wasting a lot of your wall space. You have a bouldering area beneath plenty of wall that has no holds on it. It just looks like someone's a bit lazy in here. Where are your route setters? What's good: There are a lot of autobelay climbs. There are some fun boulder problems. The price is $20 per day (when you bring your own gear) which is reasonable compared with other gyms. The foosball and couches are a nice touch. Its fun to take photos from above the climbs.
