My wife really enjoyed her oatmilk vanilla latte on the more traditional side. We swing by around 9AM on a weekday and it was not overly busy but there were steady customers. My girlfriends and I were harassed by a league bowler while eating, we tried to be polite until he started commenting on our body's. We tried to (again politely) tell him we were trying to eat and didn't want to chat at which point he stayed "I knew y'all were gonna be a bunch of bitches" before finally leaving us alone. After we finished eating we went into the bar for a drink and to avoid another situation from the same man and were met with a new one. We chatted briefly with 2 guys, one then offered to buy us a shot. The guys friends started interrogating us making sure his friend wasn't "getting taken advantage of". We then said 'ya know what, no problem, no thanks' and continued to be harassed and argued with by them same guy while waiting for the drinks we already ordered. The bartender who was serving us was watching and saw what was happening and when she served us our drink instead of helping said "just so you guys know, these are really good guys". We left. I haven't been back and won't come back without my husband or a male friend to avoid unwanted attention from the regulars. Honestly I still probably won't come back. I'm on a lot of Burney pages and everyone is always talking about how to save the town and how to make the town thrive... maybe make it welcoming and safe for the people who want to participate in community and spend there money there. I know the business is responsible for the behavior of the people who patronize their place but when even the bartender won't have our backs women to women there's a huge problem. It was unseasoned, overcooked, bun was stale, and the grilled onions included the outer tough onion layer. You should train your servers to offer those when they see a guest has a dog. How was your non English speaking employee able to understand and relay my concern about the toilet paper if she doesn't speak English? Why would I reorder a burger that I know is unseasoned, on a stale bun, etc. knowing I would receive another that is just the same? A line cook can't be retrained in a few minutes. I got what you gave me, it wasn't good. Now is your chance to improve your food for future guests. Quit making excuses, (nothing irritates me more), and make improvements.
