The bowl was crushed just to make it fit in the container. The inside is super modern and cozy with very cute seasonal decorations. We were seated right away, and we ordered the jalapeño poppers, the steak sandwich and the ribeye surf and turf. The steak sandwich was so tender and so flavorful with a perfect bread. It is probably one of our top favorite steak sandwiches ever!! I also really enjoyed the ribeye with the sides. Our server confirmed thought they source their meat locally and mostly their grass fed. The jalapeños wrapped in prosciutto with cream cheese in side was a standout. I highly recommend this place. If you're nearby and definitely get the steak sandwich we will definitely be back here. there is also a lovely coffee shop next-door that serves breakfast items.

Not a lot in Burney, but this place in Fall River Mills looked promising and it was so good. It is a little restaurant and pub within the quaint Fall River Mills old style hotel. The restaurant itself is fairly small, but we were seated right away, and the decor was so quaint and cute with a beautiful stone fireplace. I had my eye on a fried chicken sandwich, and it was so amazing with coleslaw, fried jalapeños and chicken done just right. The garlic shoestring fries that came with it were cooked just right and delicious . My husband ordered a smash burger and fries, and he was very happy with his as well. Service was excellent. Our waters were always full. I also ordered a basil margarita which was delicious and at a good price. The price of our meals also I feel were very reasonable for the quality. The old style hotel looked so quaint along with the small town that I wished I had known ahead of time to book a room here instead of the room in Burney. We walked to Burney Falls today, but this was our highlight of the day!

This place has a huge variety of syrups thanks to the italian soda side of their menu, so there were some really interesting sounding combos available for both coffee or soda. My wife really enjoyed her oatmilk vanilla latte on the more traditional side. We swing by around 9AM on a weekday and it was not overly busy but there were steady customers. This review is from a little while ago but it's a story I share with everyone who asks me what to…read moredo in Burney or how the bowling alley is. I figured it may as well share my experience now since I am reminded of it every time I drive by this place. My girlfriends and I were harassed by a league bowler while eating, we tried to be polite until he started commenting on our body's. We tried to (again politely) tell him we were trying to eat and didn't want to chat at which point he stayed "I knew y'all were gonna be a bunch of bitches" before finally leaving us alone. After we finished eating we went into the bar for a drink and to avoid another situation from the same man and were met with a new one. We chatted briefly with 2 guys, one then offered to buy us a shot. The guys friends started interrogating us making sure his friend wasn't "getting taken advantage of". We then said 'ya know what, no problem, no thanks' and continued to be harassed and argued with by them same guy while waiting for the drinks we already ordered. The bartender who was serving us was watching and saw what was happening and when she served us our drink instead of helping said "just so you guys know, these are really good guys". We left. I haven't been back and won't come back without my husband or a male friend to avoid unwanted attention from the regulars. Honestly I still probably won't come back. I'm on a lot of Burney pages and everyone is always talking about how to save the town and how to make the town thrive... maybe make it welcoming and safe for the people who want to participate in community and spend there money there. I know the business is responsible for the behavior of the people who patronize their place but when even the bartender won't have our backs women to women there's a huge problem. It makes me so sad this is the only place in town you can really go and hang out or socialize. Hopefully something new and more welcoming will come along. 2 stars only for the cook, he was the genuinely nicest person we encountered and made good food.
