You can find some good local beers from Three Floyds, Pipeworks, and Revolution but that's about it. Not the most extensive selection, there are maybe six doors of random craft beers, lots of Leinies and Mikes. The layout of the store is cramped. All these reviews rave about the owner, which seemed a little odd since they didn't say much about the actual store. I'd been a few years ago and it was your typical liquor store. The new owner seems to have cleaned it up, there was incense burning and the clerk was friendly enough. Score is 3.5 rounded up.

However, under new management this place has totally turned around. They have a MUCH better selection, more items in stock, and they support local Chicagoland breweries and the like. Staff is fantastic and knowledgeable, friendly with locals, and they certainly gave our community back a sense of a properly run local business. Cheers to their continued success!

Right off the back I noticed how nice and welcoming the location is! We were warmly welcomed when we walked in and asked if we needed helped finding anything. The store was spotless and everything was neatly organized. We were peaking around at first and stumbled upon Bells Light Hearted Ale. It's a low cal IPA, light, only a little hoppy and a beer you can drink all day. We really like this one! I was also searching for a specific chocolate stout and could not find it anywhere. It comes in a pint and I asked one if the associates to help. His name was Kevin and it was actually his first day! He searched all the isles for it and event went out of his way to look in the back stock and on the computer in their inventory. They were out of it but he asked for my contact info to let me know when it was back in stock. Completely over exceeded my request. The prices here were fair and again, the selections were more unique than a typical liquor store. Cool spot!
