This is a pretty small liqueur store. I've gone to this place maybe 5 times now over the past 6 months. The first time I went in looking for somewhat of a specialty drink- butterscotch schnapps. So I wasn't in any way irritated they didn't have it, because yeah it's not one of the most popular things in the world, BUT the little scraggly old man that seems to work there in the evenings didn't know what schnapps was or what isle any type of schnapps would be located in. He waved with his hand in the general direction of every isle in the store. Hmmm. Ok, so I was on my own to find it. Fast forward to my final attempt at this place tonight. I went in looking for disaronno. I asked the same scraggly old short man where I would find it. He moved a chair away from the wall of liqueur behind the counter and faced me, waiting for me to point it out, unaware of what it was I was looking for or for that matter that it wasn't behind the counter. He then waved me down an isle and I thought, this is silly, but I decided to walk the store looking for arguably a very popular drink this guy didn't even know what it was or if he had it. A few minutes later he came over and tried to help me find it. Sensing I was loosing patience he called someone to ask if they had it and directed me to a bottle of vodka. If you're in Warrenville and have NO other options on getting liqueur and KNOW what you want and are willing to HUNT it down then this is your place, if, however, you expect any level of knowledge or assistance from their cashier, you'd be better off going anywhere else. Sometimes I buy a 6-pack of Miller lite (CANS), and the stickers on the glass door say 6.49. Twice, when I got to the register, I was rung up for 7.49 plus tax. So, either they are charging me the price for BOTTLES, or, their prices have went up. If the prices have gone up, it is probably best to CHANGE THE STICKER PRICES ON THE GLASS FRIDGE DOOR. More of a place to buy as you need. If you are looking for the best prices and sales, this place is not it. Go to Woodman's or even Wal-Mart. Charging $1 more for something though - plain wrong. If prices have changed, let the customer know and replace the stickers.

They sell liquor but they also sell art: handmade pottery bottles and commemorative glass decanters. I wandered up and down the aisles, snapping photos like a tourist. It was awesome. I am certain that few women go in there unaccompanied. Everyone was respectful, but there must have been 40 laborers (male) in there happily buying beer on payday.
