This really should be the library I frequently visit but it's become the one that I really wouldn't date step into unless I was forced to. I shall explain...
First off, it's a tiny library that's attached to the Ogden Community Center so compared to others in the area, this is one of the smallest. As a result, the library does lack in some areas including a tiny DVD selection, narrow book aisles, and modest CD selection.
Ironically, it never feels cramped because there are never more than five people in here at the very most at the same time so it's tremendously quiet and still, even in the immaculate kept children's area.
It's always clean and kept up well and unlike some other branches, all the books and media stay In order so finding items is quick and efficient.
The staff is alright but most of them are pretty quiet and have little to say. They're friendly and are quick at the checkout desk so I have no complaints with that. However, there is no self-check out line but because the line is never long here, it doesn't become that much of an issue.
All in all its an ok library but I wouldn't personally come here given the choice when their are better selections elsewhere, if you're and Ogden or Spencerport resident, this branch will serve you well. Everyone else? Look elsewhere. read more
