Unfortunately, one employee, Mason, repeatedly spoke to me in a way I found rude and unprofessional during class, publicly "correcting" me despite my using modifications that other instructors had explicitly approved due to health reasons. To avoid further issues, I stopped taking his classes. Outside of class, I asked Mason a simple question about baked goods he sells at the studio, and he ignored me entirely--looking away and not responding. After that interaction, the environment noticeably shifted. Staff who had previously been friendly stopped acknowledging basic greetings, avoided eye contact, and treated me differently than other clients. Sophie also participated in this behavior. I was only attempting basic politeness and engagement related to the practice. The behavior felt deliberate and exclusionary, not incidental. For example, when I reached 300 classes at this studio, no one asked me to sign the barre--despite that milestone being clearly tracked in the system. I had signed at 100 classes previously and went on to complete 50 more classes after reaching 300, yet it was never acknowledged. I was consistently polite and respectful. The change in treatment was noticeable and unexplained. I stayed longer than I should have because I needed consistency while ill, but the passive-aggressive exclusion continued. As an unambiguous Black woman in a predominantly white space, this experience felt like microaggressive ostracization rather than a misunderstanding. I contacted ownership when I left, but no meaningful action was taken. I'm sharing my experience so others don't encounter this kind of treatment during a vulnerable time in their lives.

I love that the instructors encourage you to listen to your body and go at your own pace but still in a motivational way! There is also childcare available if you need it! You bring your babies in strollers and exercise around them. If you are wearing your baby, then the teachers will easily guide you in ways to continue feeling like you're getting a great workout. Each class ends at a park and you can choose to stay and chat, breastfeed or have your babies play while you cool off. Such a supportive place to get your body moving and out of the house after baby. Every question was answered quickly and thoroughly, and the owner was absolutely AMAZING to work with - so kind, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making the night special. When we arrived, the studio was spotless. Clean, bright, and welcoming. They let us come in early to set up balloons and party favors, which made everything feel personalized and festive. They even had small welcome gifts for each guest (such a thoughtful touch!), plus a tote bag and special gift for the birthday girl. It truly felt elevated and intentional. The class itself was 10/10. It was challenging enough for the girls who are experienced, but paced perfectly so beginners felt comfortable and successful. The instructor struck the perfect balance - encouraging, clear, and motivating. They even let us send a playlist ahead of time, which made it feel even more personal and fun. They also let us stay after for pictures, which meant a lot. If you're thinking about hosting a private event or trying out a class here - do it.
