    I wondered why I kept seeing this company announce store closures. I experienced why. I understand…read morethe retail environment is being hit heavily by the ease and convenience of online purchases if you can wait a couple of days for an item. But what I don't get is the way these places are causing their own demise. We came in for some Avery 5366 file folder labels. $65 was the approximate price for 1,500 labels. I don't need 1,500 labels; I needed perhaps 100. The price seemed unreasonable too. And it was. Looking at several different other sources the price was less than $30 in stock in stores nearby. Stores such as Walmart. So, being curious, I looked at random items and discovered that just about everything was 50% to 100% higher than it's competitors. Two things I take away from this. The first is that Office Depot's leadership is detached from what people are willing to pay for products. The second is that when I need something and Office Depot is the only option, that I am getting totally taken advantage of by their pricing. Can't say I'm not coming back because in my area they are the only option. But will feel like having a bully take your milk money. By the way. I just hand wrote on the folders. I'd rather not get robbed buying labels.

    I stopped at the UPS Store to return an Amazon purchase. I took my dog in with me. Toby is my…read moreservice dog and has been for 10 years. I didn't have his vest on him because we were on our way to the vet's (he is sick) and the trip to UPS was a spur of the moment decision. I was asked if Toby was a service dog and I immediately said yes. I was then told I would have to buy a mailing package to return an Amazon purchase. While I was getting package the lady behind me ask to go ahead, I had no issue with that as I returned to the line, they were discussing the fact Toby was with me and the lady behind the counter said, "there is nothing I can do about it". I ask if they were talking about my dog. She rudely told me I was not talking to you. When it was my turn, I had dropped the mailing package on the floor and bent over to pick it and tossed it on the weight machine. She then informed me I could go to another place to mail my package (she indicated I was being rude). I told her I wanted to just return the package. I have been using this UPS store for years. I was stunned at the rudeness. Yes, I was at fault for not having Toby's service vest on (I was distraught by the fact Toby was sick). I am writing this review in the hope that she will re-evaluate her attention toward her customers. Not all handicap people have visual issues, and you have no idea what people are experiencing on any day. Senior citizens, handicap persons, all people should be treated with respect.

Blamed it on me for not noticing that they were sending the 2nd and 3rd package to the same address. I said never mind bring it back & I'll send it thru the post office. Nope, couldn't even do that. instead of taking it back in the store and calling me like they said they would, they refused the package & sent it to my old address. I don't even know how they got that address. it wasn't anywhere in our transaction! so now I have to drive to my old house tomorrow to get it. I will NOT be using UPS again
