She helped me pick the best frame colors for each photo we had. They were having a mega framing sale, so I jumped on it! The project took 2-weeks to complete and when I got the pieces back, I was beyond thrilled! This store is always so helpful and organized. It's the closest thing to a party store in town also. I love when they have sales on their seasonal items.

This is the (current) manager. This is the product I was in search of (snow-tex). When asked…read morewhere it was (because it wasn't in aisle 81 as the website states), he decided to be confrontational with a *very* snarky "sir, I'm trying to help you", **AFTER** he stated they didn't have any if it wasn't in that aisle. The website shows 15 in stock. That aisle has been partitioned for Christmas ware so it was moved to make room for seasonal items. It was indeed moved. I found the item, all 15 of them, doing his job for him. 1). Do not become confrontational with a customer. 2). Let a customer finish speaking. 3). Don't be snarky with a customer. 4). Do your j-o-b. It's simple, especially when there less people in your store than bottles of snow-Tex on a shelf IN AISLE FIFTY SEVEN. Maybe he'll know where when if he bothers to read Yelp reviews about his own store to help improve customer service. Not my job to tell him. And 5). ? Some advice: You're there to help the customer. We make YOUR job happen. Retail isn't for everyone, but there are jobs where you can be far in the back of a warehouse and don't have to deal with the public. Just a thought.

This is a great little shopped tucked in the beautiful historic Colonial Williamsburg, VA area…read more It's a small, cozy and adorable small shop with a big heart and helping hands and a FREE Museum too!! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful! I had the pleasure of unexpectedly meeting and speaking with John Fogarty, Burton Parish Church Comptroller, who readily gave me some insight on some of the items displayed in the museum and made me excited to visit their Church too. You are sure to find something unique in this store and the profits are used to do great work for communities. YES!!! I do recommend them to my family, friends, friends or friends and, NOW, the World too!!

While we have been to Bruton Parish church many times, (it's my favorite thing on DOG Street by…read morefar) currently the church is closed for tourist visitation due to the installation of their new organ. With that in mind I figured I would finally make the big one block walk down to the gift shop to see what they've got shakin'. The scene would best be described as part hospital gift shop meets a Hallmark store for the 70 and over crowd. So many little trinkets and nick-knacks everywhere. Also noteworthy is that while the shop has an excellent mission, the prices here are very steep. Deals you will not find and some of the clothing that they're selling has never been seen in public since the Golden Girls was cancelled. Dorthy Zbornak would have had a field day in here. In the back of the building is a small chapel which is very respectfully laid out even if it was odd walking by tables of "discounted" Christmas things right by the entrance. I bought my obligatory Bruton Parish fridge magnet ($7!) and had a nice talk with the one volunteer at the register about the current organ project and a few rumored things happening in the near future. She was really a great ambassador for their brand and truly showed that this is a living-breathing-vibrant Episcopal church. I'm not really a retail person so I doubt I'll be back but if you are into trinkets or curiosities then this place might be for you and at the least it's worth the short trip away from the CW buildings on DOG Street.

Everyone had a really great time picking their colors and doing the glass blowing. The pumpkins came out really great and the pickup process was super easy! My one complaint would be that we were such a large group (we had 2 groups back to back) and I was in the 2nd group- you could tell the staff got tired (very understandable since they had to make 20+ pumpkins) and they didn't do a great job explaining the process ahead of time. On the upside, they were great about talking you through it in the moment. It was pretty dummy proof since the staff did most of the process for you, I don't think I can say I actually did "glass blowing" which I think is fine. Overall, would recommend this for events (but maybe smaller groups) and the staff is really skilled. They have a shop up front which I would recommend checking out!

Too bad that this is how they choose to respond as some of our ladies are having hard time this time of year. ______________________________________________________________________________ From: THE GLASS SPOT Sent: Saturday, November 30, 2024 8:40 AM To: Subject: Re: Jan 2025 Drinking Glasses - Private Session Lol! ______________________________________________________________________________ On Sat, Nov 30, 2024, 8:38AM wrote: Have a great holiday. _______________________________________________________________________________ From: THE GLASS SPOT Sent: Friday, November 29, 2024 10:25 PM To: Subject: Re: Jan 2025 Drinking Glasses - Private Session Wow. _________________________________________________________________________________ From me- On Fri, Nov 29, 2024, 4:51PM wrote: Thanks, they decided that it was too expensive but thanks for reaching out.
