But for the shipping issues, it would be in my Bucks County home today. We were free to wander around the crammed warehouse-like space without disturbance from staff. I found several Asian pieces (wood carved, metal cast, crystal and pastel ceramic) that were tempting and priced to sell. Didn't pull the trigger because I needed more time to consider which would be best at home. But, still had a good time searching, and may give them a call about safe packaging for the two I am most attracted by. No doubt, we will be visiting again this year (2024), and will stop in again, so even if those things are gone, there will be new and perhaps even better ones to capture my imagination.

I came across a section that spoke to me.... furniture refurbishing. It is a hobby of mine. They sell Dixe Bell products. I personally LOVE the chalk paint from 2 Chicks and a Toolbelt. So I did not get any paint, but I did get two brushes and a few ideas. There was so many more gizmos and gadgets. A few pieces of furniture and many antique items and primitive pieces on both sides. The cashier was so kind. She seems to be knowledgeable in the items she sells. I got this from when someone tried asking for her to go down in price on some plates. She kindly told them what they retail for and that she could do 10%. I applaud her for that.

And I was given an additional bolt of fabric as the chair was recently reupholstered. I could make an ottoman with this fabric. And it was a great price! They stayed open a few minutes late for me as I was running behind. And her lovely husband loaded the chair into my truck for me. They have so much decor and beautiful decorations. On this past visit, I ended up picking up an electronic candle and a candle holder. I rarely buy items for the holidays, but was just taken so much by the beautiful display. My kids love the many soaps, and the nutcrackers and snow globes they have out for Christmas. On my latest visit, I went upstairs. I didn't even know there was actually an upstairs level. There is gorgeous furniture and decor. My kids loved it up there and pretending it was their home.
