Me and my friends were just walking around, testing furniture, and waiting out the rain. Then we're…read moretold that we had to leave because it didn't look like we were buying anything. When I said we were just looking around we were told that this isn't the store to do that at. Since thats the case I thought I'd let everyone else know that this is a store where looking around is apparently not wanted ? Whatever that means! I just thought it was weird and rude to kick people out who weren't causing a disturbance. December prices might've bought something if the guy wasn't a prick !

If I could give them zero stars I most certainly would. The wife of the owner stated she would…read moreorder us a couch set and if we did not like the color we would be able to get our money back. There was no other sofa & loveseat set that resembled the color we wanted. Therefore she said our money would be returned. I asked her numerous times so there were no misunderstandings as this has never been an option at any other furniture store we went. She reiterated if we paid half up front, the money would be returned if the color was incorrect. Not once did she say it would be store credit. Clearly she knew we would not be able to use the store credit for our sofas as they did not have another option for us. When we went in to see the couches we told the employee about the situation. He was very kind and tried to help us find a set the color we need. He stated, "we have nothing like that right now." He sent us home with no refund and no answers as the owners did not pick up there phones. I spoke to the owner and he refused to return us our money. He implied my husband and I miss understand even though he was not present during the sale. I was not allowed to speak to the wife who "sold" us the set which I believe is very inappropriate. I would understand if a customer was being rude and disrespectful to her but I am very respectful and would never yell or say anything inappropriate to any employee. The moral of the story is we still need to go buy couches elsewhere. We have a store credit with a business that does not own up to what they say. I am basically forced to do business with a company that lacks communicate skills and organization. Train your employees to communicate appropriately because communicate is key in their role. (Also, the owners wife stated the set would take 2 to 3 weeks max to arrive and it took 11 weeks to arrive.)

I don't get it. Why pay $65 for a membership when nothing is a good deal?…read more I do like that gas seems to be about 10 cents cheaper than everywhere else. The cafe is a good deal with $1.50 hotdogs & soda and huge slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza for $1.99. We appreciate the free samples. It's a great way to taste the product. BUT... 1. Parking is a nightmare. It's as if the whole of West Michigan ascends on this store from open until close. 2. The good deals? Hard to spot. Most items are actually cheaper from Meijer or Aldi when I do the math and subtract for bulk. 3. I keep hearing great things about their meat, but truly, there are no deals to be had. Would love to try it, but their "sales" are more like regular price +. 4. During the subscription process they try to up sell you to the executive membership for over $130! They say that way you can get money back and books trips through Costco? Ummm... okay... but why? More deals? Nothing really seems like a deal, but everyone else is acting like it. It truly worries me... do people not know how to do math anymore? Is this herd mentality? Everything is busy and a line up for free samples, cafe, gas, and checkout which makes one feel like there is a scarcity dilemma and lends toward impulse purchases. Not sure if this place is worth the investment. We like the cheap lunch, but the headache of parking and battling crowds makes it less appetizing. I don't think we will renew. Thank goodness this subscription was just a gift!
