The Vibes: This co-working space is located on the corner of 8th and Myrtle in downtown Boise. While it provides a beautiful space for creatives and entrepreneurs to work, it also provides an incredible sense of community. Trailhead is all about the start up business and getting people in the community connected, and you can feel it when you're in here! There's nothing quite as motivating as being surrounded by a group of locals from various walks of life, all housed in one space, pursuing their dreams. SO much rad. Facility: Imagine one big open room with desks of various shapes and sizes throughout--some standing, some sitting, some for groups, and some that provide privacy. Whatever kind of working mood you're in on any given day, you'll have the space available to facilitate it. They also have two "telephone booths" that you can go sit in if you need to take a private call. In addition to this, they have all the drip coffee your heart could wish for, a refrigerator for you to store you lunch, bathrooms, and a printer (for small print jobs). Other Things: - A monthly membership only costs $35 - You can purchase their extended hours package (I think they said it's about an additional $200/year), and this allows you to use the facility after hours - The facility I am leaving a review for is their "basecamp", they also have another facility, "North", up the street. North has private offices, dedicated desks and conference rooms (this one is $129/month) - They host events once a month that connect you with fellow startups! Overall Thoughts: Incredible solution for those working remote or looking to launch a business of their own. Price point is unbeatable for what you get! The only downside if paying for parking in downtown Boise. (However, in warmer months you can always find a place to park your car on the outskirts of downtown and ride your bike to Trailhead!) Not only was I on the 14thfloor downtown and had AMAZING views, I had a small kitchen for my coffee and refrigerator for my lunch. The internet speed was good and the hospitality of the ladies in the front was TOP NOTCH! I would highly recommend renting an office or conference space for anyone that wants to get work done or have a professional presence. I will be returning myself when I am back in town.
