The bright hall is bathed in natural light and also has four lovely chandeliers. There was plenty of room to seat everyone and set things up buffet style. Columns of quaint dining dishes allowed us to take advantage of using as many we needed for a multi-course meal sustainably. Three deep sinks made prep and cleanup a breeze. Simply appointed cozy rooms were lovely to retire to at the end of the day. (I presume these were Sunday School rooms once-upon a time). We didn't use the church part actively, but it served those who needed a quiet, serene place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of a family gathering. I noticed that they have special prices through the end of the year and will consider them again for hosting our holiday meals or special events.

I asked if they were seriously refusing to book me, and the man I was talking to said yes. He said I could have it if I wanted to pay $1,000 which is what they charge for weddings. Wow!! so, unless you are looking for something in the off season of what they consider their money making time of year, don't bother. They were rude. On another note, I was at the place for a summer BBQ. The people that run the facility have a house on the property. Not only did they come over to the party and help themselves to the food and beverages...one of them got sloppy drunk...they sat in their backyard watching the party and the invited guests. The people having the party didn't know them and didn't invite them to be a part of it, they just included themselves as guests. Very weird.

When I entered my room, I felt a puff of hot air. So, I looked at the thermostat and it was 80°F. Then, I noticed that it was set to HEAT. Hmm, housekeeping has lost their marbles in the head or just simply incompetent. In this age of giant layoffs in 2026, someone needs to bee fired. The layout of the building is too weird and complicated. The building has an arch and when you get out of the elevators after a couple of turns, you have no idea what the orientations are towards the parking lot. Anyway, I eventually found it and get to see my car from the windows. EV Charger: none whatsoever. They need to install some. The nearest Tesla supercharger is about 4 miles away. Installing a few Level 2 chargers managed by Tesla would be ideal; or better still, make it free.

From the time we checked in, everyone made us feel welcome. Jamie at the front desk (I think that was his name) was friendly, helpful, and got us checked in quickly. The hotel was clean, our room was comfortable, and we had a great stay. We were there for four nights and had breakfast at the hotel every morning. Nancy, the breakfast attendant, was so sweet and friendly. She always had a smile on her face and made us feel right at home. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again the next time we're in town. Highly recommend!
