If I could go lower on the review, I would. I actually took my business to FedEx because this place refused to print my images. That WERE NOT copywritten. Chas (the girl in copy & print) someone get her some better training ASAP. Wwwttffff. My issue, however was with the bigger blonde lady in the copy print area.. she wasn't who was helping me so I didn't get her name, but she was there at around 12:00 pm today and made the worst impression ever. I brought in a jump drive to have 2 images printed, one was an E.T. face. It was not a copy written image, the image is free for download from the person who created it online, there's no watermark, no nothing. I have attached a picture of the image for proof. Its free for download. The Chas girl was not sure if she could print this image, so she asked the bigger blonde lady if she was allowed to print the image, the lady turned around and looked at the image, from ACROSS THE DEPT and said "no we can't print that" so I asked her why she said "because it is a picture of E.T." I replied with "but it is not copywritten" her very rude reply back "it doesn't matter, I know what the image is from." I let her know once again that it was not copy written and was free online for download.. she still refused to print my picture.. Okay so you mean to tell me that if I draw a picture of a Pokémon and come in and want a copy made, because the image is RECOGNIZED to be that image or have its likeness, that it cannot be printed.. ?!?! It. Was. Not. A. Copy. Written. Item. I actually used to work at office depot in the copy print department, I know what the f*** a "(c)" means and I know that it is illegal, which is why I found the image that I had.. I was not going to fight with her so I removed my jump drive from their computer myself and left. I called FedEx, that is around the block.. I told the girl my situation and what I needed done, she said she could do it with no problem. THANK YOU FEDEX FOR DOING WHAT OFFICE DEPOT WOULD NOT. Even though my picture was completely legal ! ! Lots of construction going on right now plus some stores are leaving that shopping strip. HEB seems to be thriving and Office Depot has totally changed its printing section, revamped and expanded its capabilities to offer greater variety in print jobs. I had to use the fax machine, so the clerk walked me to the machine and demonstrated with a kind voice and patient attitude how to use the machine in a self-service manner. I waited a few minutes and the paperwork came out telling me that it was busy/no response. So I called the location to check. And the place was indeed closed on Sunday. So I return early the next day to fax it since I know how to do the job on my own. Thanks to the young clerk who assisted me. I like that location because afterwards I can go grocery shopping at HEB. read more

Ron in the printing department is the best! I needed 2 fiftyeight page workbooks printed and bound. I was advised that it would take a while, possibly a few days due to workload. Nope, Ron had it done in just a few short hours . Very polite and patient with my indecisive mother. Will return with my next projects. read more

Pretty standard Office Depot. They always have what you are looking for, albeit at an inflated price. Their pens are usually pretty good quality. And when they finally put stuff on sale, it turns into a standard price that you'll be willing to pay! read more

Right, so: The point of a store is that, at a store, you exchange money for products. Well, at this Office Depot I gave them money and they gave me an empty box. That's not why this review is being written, though. I come back the next day with what I had discovered to be an empty box and, with some reluctance, an employee goes to her manager to describe the problem. She doesn't tell me what she's doing or anything helpful like that; she just walks on and I follow. The manager, who was speaking to another customer, looks at me with contempt upon hearing the problem and asks if there had been tape on the box (there had been; I cut it to open the box). I show the non-manager employee where the product was on the shelf; she retrieves one and gives it to the manager, who opens it up and spills its contents on the floor. He picks them up and hands them dismissively to me. That is why this review is being written. I'm in a hurry -- I had to go out of my way to return to the store, you see -- so I take the product after asking the employee another question (which she answers as dismissively as possible, showing that I had more knowledge of the product than she did). No one apologized. Not one person. This is a store where either: a) Security is so garbage that anyone can rob it or, more likely b) Employees can regularly steal from it -- but the most important issue is that -- c) paying customers will be blamed for the theft of said employees. Or, alternatively, it could have been that upper management is just racist. No matter what the cause of all that, it's not a good look. Do not shop at this Office Depot. read more
