I've never really been able to find anything wrong too much with Ollies, and I can browse around…read morethere for hours when I go. It's one of those places where you never know what you're going to find, so it's always exciting to "hunt". This Opelika, AL store is the only Ollie's I've ever been to. It is always packed with a big variety of merchandise. Sometimes it's a little crowded with things out on display, but it is an outlet store, so that can be expected. I've gotten some really good deals on some things there. I don't get to go to the store much any more because of my schedule. I wish that you could order things on their website. That would make my life much easier, and I would shop with them more often that way. I've never had to return anything there, so I don't know how that experience goes with them.

Danny, the store manager, instantly dropped what he was doing to spend about 20 minutes rifling through several boxes and kits to help me find what I need and put it on, and he refused to accept my money. Shontae constantly harasses me when I shop at this store. She once made my 61 yr old mother cry…read moreby rudely accusing her of " messing up shelves " when my mom had not even touched anything on the shelves. She then proceeded to argue with us when I told her we had not been the ones that messed the items up on the shelf. Also, she has repeatedly harassed me over a double strap skull purse about it being a "bookbag". This isn't a bookbag ! It's my purse. It's listed on Amazon as such . Management knows I bring it in and I've been shopping at this location for over a year with my purse. She proceeded to argue with me in front of customers as I was at the self checkout trying to pay for my items. I told her that she was already told that I have permission to bring in my PURSE. She wouldn't stop and kept telling me that my purse is not a purse it's a bag. Which is not accurate. I just said whatever and wasn't going to continue on about it. But .... She kept on about it and got one of her customer friends to chime in about how my purse isn't a purse. They wouldn't leave me alone and harassed me until I walked out the door. I've reported Shontae to management twice about her rude attitude and so far they still keep her employed despite her deplorable attitude towards customers. I have no problem abiding by company policy but she needs an attitude adjustment!
