I was shopping for two unusual items and their assistance resulted in my purchasing. This store has figured out that if a customer walks in the door, they likely are looking for something to purchase. They also look at what the customer is doing. If wandering around, as I was, they probably need assistance. I'm impressed with how this Office Depot store has adjusted their internal operations to compete with online shopping. Customer service and immediate availability is the competitive advantage for physical stores.

I needed just 2 copies made and our printer was broken so I got online uploaded the document I…read moreneeded and Office Depot had it ready the same day. When I picked up the orders the line was not really long however, there were enough customers there that called for another employee to help but the female was working by herself. I probably stood in line for 10 minutes waiting and I expected the employee to be friendly but I provided her with my last name she handed the copies over and there was no communication between the two of us. I paid $1.30 online for the two copies (thicker paper was used) so I did not have to pay when I went in there. I don't get copies made enough nor have I had anything specialized to know how they would do professionally.

I looked for the closest service center and found Jeff at Walker Business Machines. He told me he could look at it if I brought it from Pensacola Florida to him but suggested I try a few things and if that did not work email him and he would send some links to help resolve the issue. I had to email him but he sent the links and I followed the instruction and resolved my issue! He was very helpful, considerate, and knowgledgable. I HIGHLY recommend them. In my experience any one can sell you product but service is what makes the difference. My nect printer will be from them even if it is an hour and a half away.
