Border for bulletin boards, sharpies, calendars, sheet protectors, etc. I've even made copies for work here. It takes some reading to figure out the machine but it's pretty simple after that! Every time I have gone into the locations 1 or 2 things happens. 1 they don't have what I am needing because they are out of it or 2 they try to over charge me. When I walked in they were pretty busy. As I would imagine on a Saturday afternoon! However, I made my order online and had it printed in store. . .and I'm glad I did. I didn't have to wait long and one of the staff members just handed me my posters. Unfortunately, I had an issue online when trying to pay via PayPal. They would not accept my payment and I had to call an 800 number to get everything worked out. It was a long process but fortunately it was all good by the end of the phone call. Also, when I put in my order online it said that it wouldn't be ready until 8 p.m. the next day, so I suggest if you need a rush on something, you should get your order in earlier or call them to actually see when it will be done. Mine was actually done early that morning in which I appreciated very much!! Julissa was the one behind the desk, when we came up to her with our stencil she was hesitant to help, when we asked her to measure how long the paper is she didnt reapond and looked at us with a blank stare???? i dont know what was so confusing about that question. we came here for help and getting it was difficult. she told us in order to use the blueprint paper we'd have to do an online order. we drove 20 minutes for her to tell us to order it online? then my mom who was with me asked her "we cant order here at the store and you print it out?" she responded with yes. so no problem solving skills on her part! worst experience ive had at office depot. read more

I was trying to purchase 2 desktop sets for my office. The store closest to my house on Hwy 249 didn't have it in stock, so they told me to go to this location. This store is pretty nice and clean. I was helped right away and one guy helped locate the desktops and the monitors and the another guy, Matthew, rang us up. They were very friendly to my son when handing him his Skittles bag. I'm surprised this store is still open. Dirty. Out of stock. Dust everywhere. Trashy. I went in to look at a desk i saw online to see if they had it set up for me to look at. It wasn't there but the inventory they had was very limited. I bought pencils. $16 nothing special either. The skinny guy at the register was rude and unprofessional. Didn't say hello. Didn't tell me my total. When i paid and selected for no receipt i waited around just to make sure everything was cleared he told me in a low monotone voice "you good". My superiors would raise hell if i was so un-personable. Print shop is terrible. Ordered (25) 24x36in prints in the morning and Office Depot guaranteed completion by 7pm that day. They finished late and I ended up coming to pick them up the next day. I showed up to 4 rubber banded bundles of prints. I almost left without checking the prints but now glad I checked them there in the store. First they were completely out of order, one page was cut short and there were 5 pages missing. I proceed to wait over and hour for the 5 prints and asked for a discount. They only offered a 15% discount on the next print job......not going to use it because I'm not using them again. I can't believe they didn't sort the prints or even check if all of them came out before saying the job was completed. This review is for the store located at; Cypress Towne Center, 25821 US-290, Cypress, TX 77429 ..to purchase a desk & hutch. A large purchase. Apparently this store is not on the radar yet. Or, maybe it was removed because it was so terrible. I entered the store and was greeted by a young man. "...how can I help you?" "My wife and I were here last week and we have decided to purchase the desk we saw on sale." "...OK, the furniture is in the back area." And he pointed the way. I thought he was following me. No. After about 10mins I walk back to the front of the store and encounter the same person, standing by the door, rocking on his heels. I walked up to him and just stared at him. "...did you find what you were looking for?" Seriously? "Yes." We started walking back to the furniture area once again. "...which one do you want?" "This one." pointing to a desk. "...oh..hmmm.... I dunno.. I don't think we have this one." Then another store employee showed up. "He wants that desk? OK, I'll go in the back and check.." "...Wait, wait, I don't think we have that desk in stock." "That's OK, I'll go back and check anyway." "...No, really, I don't think we have it in stock." I keep quiet but I'm thinking..JUST LET HIM LOOK!! "...oh alright, l'll go back there and check with you." After some mumbling in the back they both show up. "...no we don't have it just like I said." Now what? "So what should I do..?" "...well, you could order it on-line and have it shipped to the store but that will cost you $50 more." "Fifty dollars more! Why? Other stores have things shipped to their stores for free. No shipping charge." "...well, we're NOT other stores. That's all I can tell you. You can speak to our manager if you want." I went to the front and asked for the manager. A lady, Lara, with her back to the store, cutting bits of paper with scissors, turned around and walked up to me at the counter. "...Who told you to come talk to me?" A homicide investigation. He's one of YOUR employees. How many people do you have here anyway?" She started talking into radio thingy. "Who ever was helping this guy in the furniture area needs to come up here and help him...no..no...I'm busy. You help him." She turns around and walks back to her papers. So here comes the "..no we don't have it in stock.." furniture dude again. Crap. He flips a computer screen around and tells me to fill in the customer order information. I pull out my reading glasses and fill in all the information. "...ok, you see, when I hit the enter key, it's going to tell me we can't order the desk because the system thinks we have a desk in stock....but we don't." "What does that mean?..." "...well, basically, I'm not going to be able to order the desk because the system thinks we have the desk..but we don't..so...we can't order the desk." At this point, I'm getting VERY frustrated. "Look! I don't work here, I don't know how any of this has to do with me. That manager over there cutting paper should be over here talking to me! I'm NOT an employee here, I don't work here, I'm just a customer who WANTS TO BUY A DESK!!" Here comes Lara the manager again. She looks bugged, never addresses me, talks to me, or even looks at me. I tell her, "If you don't have the desk, AND you can't order the desk, then tell me which store HAS THE DESK AND I'LL GO PICK IT UP!" Lara tells the clerk to start dialing other stores and then goes back to her paper cutting. What a looser. The clerk called another store. They were out too. Before he could dial another store I left. As I got to the door another store clerk stopped me. He was an Asian dude caring a stack of printouts. Probably the store replenishment guy. He said, "..this computer system is all messed up. We can't order anything. In fact, just a few minutes ago, I had to tell another customer to go home and order the item he wants from home. I have never had such a horrible customer experience in all of my life. I ordered a custom manual online for store pick up. When I got there, my order was wrong. I told the worker at the copy & printer center about the mistake, and he immediately seemed to have an attitude about having to do my order again. I waited for 20+ minutes for him to redo my order. He didn't specify how long it would to fix it or anything, no words at all. So i just waited, not knowing what was going on. In the process of waiting, I witnessed him stall on starting on redoing my order, eating PRINGLES at the computer, and drink a SMOOTHIE. One would think that if you made a mistake on an order and have to do it again, you would apologize for the mistake and put your full attention on completing that order as soon as possible. No, that's not what happened. When he finally finished reprinting my manual, he started to bind it. I physically see him stopping every 2 minutes to help ANOTHER customer. If you are almost done with my manual, then why stop to help another customer! My order should come first, ESPECIALLY since it was your fault you had to redo it! That's just common curtesy. I began to get very upset seeing the flat out disrespectful actions being done, so I called the manager. I explained that I had been waiting for so long on an order that was supposed to done correctly when I arrived. When the manager asked the worker when he would be done, the worker got mad, THREW my manual away, and REFUSED to finish my order!! The manager and I couldn't even believe that this was happening. The manager didn't even know what to say. I have never been so upset about a customer service experience in my entire life. To refuse my service, because I called the manager on you is so unprofessional and flat out immature. The fact that the manager couldn't say anything to the worker about the mistreatment of a customer says a lot too. I will be going to another location from now on. Each and every time I come there's a store full of customers but little help from employees, not to mention the 1 person at the register. In addition, its always something wrong. Printer broke, new employee who doesn't know what to do, old employee who was never trained properly. For crying out loud, please TRAIN the staff. I am beyond disappointed as I have been standing here for the past 20 minutes waiting impatiently. Now I'm being told the manager on duty doesn't know how to fix the jammed printer. I took my mother to buy a computer the other night. After attempting to go to Best Buy and being ignored we walked over here. We were instantly greeted and got the help we needed. I explained to the lady helping us what my mother does with her computer and that she wanted something very basic. Of course she tried to get us to buy a more expensive model, but you can't blame her for that, it is her job. Once we had settled on the model, she was very helpful in getting it. I bought an office depot stapler (item 884-794) and it keeps jamming on me. I tried to go in and exchange it for a working one but they wouldn't allow it. They said that I had to go back to original store where I bought it at which is 30 miles away... it's an office depot brand yet I couldn't exchange it for the same exact product that was actually working...
