If the package you need to drop off is something you aren't too worried about getting stolen, or something in a nondescript package, then this "ShipSite" is fine. If however, you need confirmation of the drop off, or any level of security with your package, do not bother coming here. I asked the Office Depot employees if there was someone to scan the package in, and verify the drop off, but they told me if that mattered to me, to go to a FedEx Office location instead. Office Depot is my go-to for last minute printing when I'm in a rush. Located in the corner of the plaza next to Kroger, this is really a prime location, especially if you want to visit a few of the other neighboring stores as you wait for a print job. There's over a dozen parking spaces right in that little corner pocket, but Kroger offers more space if it's filled. Usually I send my print jobs off in advance to another company (tbh) but there are days when I need a smaller order or something quick, and their business print center is great. I've never had to ask for assistance myself, but am always greeted with a hello and asked if I need assistance. Printing is cheap, quality is alright but more vivid colors would be fabulous, but it works! There are 3-4 printers that you can simply walk right up to and when I've visited, I've only experienced a short line once or twice. I've only purchased small items here like packs of pens and markers, smooth purchases each time. Definitely a great go-to when I need a few items! read more

I went in to Office Depot Peachtree Corners on August 27 with two maps hoping to get them blown up and copies made. The clerk was talking with a woman and semed reluctant to stop the conversation and ask me what I needed. But I stared at him so he did and I told him. He said he could not enlarge the maps and make the copies without a digital file. It struck me that he was simply more interested in the lady he was speaking with than helping a customer, myself. I left and I went to FedEx Office and they made the enlargments and copies without hesitation. I wonder why that clerk works at Office Depot when he certainly didn't want to be there and acted like it. I needed to fax something last minute and my fax was not working. Allison saw that I was having a difficult time with their machine and she came over immediately to help with all my needs. Later, the fax was showing a busy signal and only sending a page at a time, basically creating incomplete faxes while still charging me for every page that did send. Nicole, another employee, came over to assist after she notice what was going on. She helped so I did not have to spend unnecessary money. I just wanted to say, "Thank You" to these two ladies for going above and beyond. She looked up which location had one in stock. She let me know they only had one and would not be open until 10am. So, best be there when they open to get it. This is the third Office Depot I've gone to where their printing services have failed me. They can never seem to get the job done correctly. I needed many spiral bound books printed and ordered just one online to be sure it was correct. It wasn't. The coil color was wrong and they added a clear cover I didn't ask for. So I asked for it to be corrected and ordered some more. The associate told me they'd be ready by that evening. I never got a call. When I phoned that night I was told the person doing that job was not there, so they couldn't tell me the status. That seems to be a pattern in these reviews - no single associate can help you with a job another associate has been working on. I called again the next day and they said it was complete. When I arrived, the queue was very long and there was just one associate who was working (rather slowly). She never once acknowledged those in line or apologised for the delay. The books were mostly correct - just varying colors of back cover. It's as if they ran out of black and chose to replace it with blue (without ever asking me). I no longer trust any Office Depot to take care to detail or accuracy in their print jobs. Staples is too far away so it'll have to be FedEx for quick jobs (though they're much more expensive). read more

Office Depot, this one in particular, is never my first choice for anything related to office needs. I've been forced to visit this location a few times, due to proximity, and each time has been worse than the last. I've had to visit a few times to pick up printer ink and 110lb paper. On that front, they've got all you could ever need. Oh, and more! Pens, chairs, scissors, desks, tablets, markers, calendars, and a liberally stocked candy/snack section at the front. Priorities, folks. What I can't stand is the front desk at both the regular checkout and the print station. I've given up both times I've come in to get things printed. The sluggish incompetence of the staff behind that desk just made me blow a fuse. Something that could have taken five minutes took more then 20 for one person. Never again. The front checkout is always a joke -- Not only to me, but apparently to the staff. Every. Single. Time. I've had to wait for someone to come up to the register to run up my order. The cavalier attitudes of the staff is so unappreciated. I'm not high-maintenance, but I don't really appreciate being treated like a "buddy" instead of a customer. Instead of apologizing for waiting to pay, the staff jokes it off and barely acknowledges the line of annoyed customers. This has happened to me four times now. If I can help it, I've had my last visit here. It's just too much frustration to deal with. I'll happily drive an extra 10 minutes elsewhere to pick up what I needed. read more

Ordered prints online twice from this center. Both times they neglected to notify me when my order was ready- ended up calling for them to even begin to process the order. Once arriving to the center, the wrong order was printed which also took them 10 minutes to find. Upon request, spoke to the manager about the departments incompetence where he was able to agree with the lack of quality service Office Depot promises. Overall trip for something that should of been ready 3 days ago took 1 hour and 20 minutes & resulted in me monitoring the worker to make sure the correct order was printed. I came in to get a file printed/enlarged for a gift. Bill helped me. The file I sent was not printing correctly on 2/3 of the computers that they have so he had to play around with it and ultimately try printing it from the 3rd computer there. In the midst of him helping me, there were several other people waiting to get service. He was able to handle each one of them in rotation BY HIMSELF! The crazy part about it was there were at least two other employees in the store, one of whom stuck around in the front with Bill but did not attempt to help him. Bill was SO patient and kind and did not let the abundance of customers, technical difficulties, or lack of help change his attitude which was very much appreciated. My print came out beautifully. The only reason I cannot give this place more stars is because though I had a pleasant experience and excellent customer service, it took over an hour for me to get this 1 print because of lack of staffing. Honestly, I dread coming here unless it's an emergency, I'd rather go to their competitors than come to this specific place. Pros: 1. Edgewood Retail Area means lots of parking. That's a pro I guess? 2. It's got what you need, you just might need to really search for it. Cons: 1. This is a pretty small story so expect the selection to be limited. You're better off checking online first. 2. Poorly staffed and poorly trained staff. Most of them lack knowledge because they're new or they just aren't motivated to care. I'm thinking it's a bit column A and column B. The last time I went here with a friend it was apparent that the guy ringing us up was pretty clueless. It took twenty, yes twenty minutes for him to figure things out. 3. Pretty messy in general. Lots of items out of place. Lack of caring by staff? 4. Prices are way out of range compared to other retailers. This is why Amazon is running the show in the world now. No one cares about customer service if you don't make it a priority, thereby making them shop online. The printers cost how much? I can get that for half the price with free two day shipping with a Prime membership (which is definitely worth it). 5. The Teacher Appreciation Day gift bag = Poopy. I think the plastic bag it came in is for that use. The emergency by the side of road take-a-dump moment. Yeah, I also need a low quality pen or pencil and some little discount card. Oh yeah, let's not forget a really cheap canvas bag because teachers never get those at all. You were completely outdone by your competitors. I never write reviews. It has never been something I've cared to make the time for but this !? This I couldn't just leave it be. There are only two employees who are terrible with giving direction. There's a long line with people waiting to get fingerprinted & both of them are focused on 1 lady who is having an issue. The fingerprinting which is a pretty quick process is taking significantly longer than it should because neither one of them are assisting in a timely manner with the fingerprinting. This is ridiculous and I won't ever come back to this location. Ever. Save yourself the time & go to a different location. read more

I consider myself a very good customer- I am understanding, kind, and considerate of other customers and employees. Well, last Thursday(9/6) I swung by Office Depot to print out a copy of my resume on card stock because I had a very big interview later that day for an amazing job opportunity. When I arrived to the Office Depot printing section, there were two females working behind the counter. One was helping a couple with their printing needs; the other was aimlessly walking around. I stood in line behind the couple for numerous minutes. Well, all of a sudden another woman walked in and the free employee behind the printing counter helped her immediately. I thought, "Maybe they're friends." But then two men walked in and stood behind me in line, and the employee preceded to help these two men BEFORE ME. (Once she was finished with the other woman.) The only conclusion I have been able to come up with is racism. The employee, as well as all of the other customers she helped before me (even though they arrived many minutes after me) were African American, and I am Hispanic. I believe 100% that this was an act of racism. So after silently waiting numerous minutes and watching this employee help other customers without even acknowledging me, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Oh, and by the way, I got the job. It pays extremely well and I will be spending absolutely NONE of my newly hard-earned money at this Office Depot. read more

This place sucks a giant dong. I ordered online. I paid online. I asked for it to be picked up at the store. I got a text that the order was ready for pickup. Yeah right. I get there. Employees just chatting away. I head to the "super quick" order pick up. I wait behind people. Person exits line. I'm standing there. Phone rings. Employee answers phone and tells me to wait. I'm just picking up something I paid for. Finally the lady gets off the phone and looks for my order. Nothing. They can't find it. Then she calls another guy over. He looks. He can't find it. He then has to go and assemble the order all while using my phone to compare if what he pulled from the shelves is correct. What in the forking fork is up with that? read more

This is purely for the print shop: How this place stays in business I'll never know. I went there to get copies of a picture made in addition to copies of a few documents. Got in line around 12:35. Got to head of line by 12:45. Not bad wait time for here, I was happy. Told employee I needed pictures, then showed her my cash, said I'll head over to self service machine while you're making picture copies then pay for everything at once. Get to machine, see it only takes cards. Ask another customer how I put $ on a store card. He points to employee who's just started to help the person behind me. Wondering why employee didn't mention this 2 secs prior, I ask her she tells me I need to get back in line to buy a card. Get back in line for another 10 mins. I'm finally able to buy the card, her register stops working. Not a big deal, these things happen. Go to store register. Get card. Head back to self service copiers, both in use. One copier jams, the other is still in use by costumer who was making copies when I first got in line. The lone print shop employee is in the restroom, and the gentleman she asked to fill in for her does his best, but machine is still jammed. I asked if he could make the 20 or so copies for me for. He couldn't. At 1:27 I give up and head to FedEx Office. 5 mins and I get my copies. The only reason I'm giving Staples two stars is because the employees are nice. The system they have for the print shop gets zero stars. read more

I just went into your store in Atlanta in The Edgewood Shopping Center on Caroline Street. I placed an on-line order for pick up at that store. One item was missing and when I inquired why I received a notice that all items where ready for pick up yet one was missing, I was not given an answer and treated like I was a bother. I asked if I could re-order the item and have it set for pick up at the Caroline location and was told I could not: Office Depot only ships to home or business addresses is what I was told my the store manager Taylor. I know that's not true as I have done that before and I just got off the phone with the 1800 number who verified that Taylor easily could have re-taken my order and had the missing toner shipped to the store location for pick up. I was treated like I was a bother and your store manager had no interest in helping me. Way to go Office Depot! read more
