New owner and absolutely no management! Poor, slow and unattentive bar and food service. We left after being offered one round of drinks (if food is delayed always offer more drinks) and waiting an hour for a pizza that was delayed another 45 minutes. Reading the few reviews here, I can't help but wonder if we all went to the same place. I wanted to do lunch in Cane Bay and Off the Wall was recommended when Eat at Cane Bay was closed. We knew it was basically sandwiches and pizzas, but that worked. We're easy. The view is AWESOME. We sat at the bar and loved looking out at the crashing waves. The menu was fine and we all ordered sandwiches. The roast beef which I believe is called THE Off The Wall, is delicious even though it comes on plain boring small bread. The drinks were fine. The prices were comparable to the rest of the island. What was not good was the service. Oh, we got what we ordered, but apparently just our existence was a pain in the ass to the woman working the bar that morning. A smile was way too much to ask for. We stayed super friendly, laughing, joking... SMILING, but literally could not get the server to even pretend that she cared we were there, which really made the visit kind of sucky. When people came in that she knew and were friends with she became another person, but still only with them. Totally not cool. If it wasn't for the shitty service, I might have gone up to 4 just because it's tasty and beautiful. Great place for our last lunch before heading home. We had read that sometimes service could be a bit slow, but that was not our experience at all! Our bartender/server was quick to greet us, take our order, and we could see food flying out of the little kitchen at a regular clip. The menu was larger than I would expect for a 'shack' and made everyone happy. I had the French Dip (yummy) with homemade potato salad (excellent!) The Sprossling had nachos, a more basic version than some other places, but he was actually happier with the simplicity. The Colonel had a bacon cheeseburger (looked great) and coleslaw (tasty). Our other companion has a greek salad, which he polished off in short order. The iced tea tasted fresh and homebrewed. Prices were reasonable. Wonderful atmosphere. Great view. We enjoyed the dog who was visiting from the nearby dive shop. The Sprossling was enchanted with the whole set up. 100% will return! read more

We've been here twice on our week-long vacay. First time we shared calzones and lasagna and it was all good---cheesecake with blueberries was delish!!! The second time we got a pizza and it was bomb! Thin crispy crust and we had a little left over ---it was great cold. We played bingo on a Tuesday night and the pot was $460--didn't win but it made for a beautiful evening, watching the sun go down, sipping a beer and playing bingo. This is the first time I have ever left a review for a business of any kind. However, I felt compelled to leave one after our experience at this restaurant. I have never before witnessed such a rude encounter with a restaurant worker. The lady could not have been more rude, unhelpful, inhospitable and unaccommodating. She was not very kind in trying to help us figure out a table that would comfortably seat our family of 6 (we were the only patrons there). We decided to leave and take our business down the street where the atmosphere was way more friendly. We always try to tip very generously as we have read that tourism is the main source of income for the island. I hated to leave but we just couldn't support such a disrespectful establishment. Did not feel welcomed at all! I stopped in with my brother and sister to grab a bite to eat since we were on that side of the island. There wasn't much people there. The waitress had a weird vibe. We placed our orders and literally waited about 2 hrs 2 get 1 pizza, a burger, and chicken sandwich. About an hr in the waitress was asked how much longer would it be. She responded unpleasantly saying it will be a while longer because the food had to be cooked. We ended up asking for the food to go. Hands down, best calzone I've ever had. Like everywhere on St Croix, it takes a while for food to come to your table. You should allow 2 hours for lunch, but it was worth it. Others in our party ordered sandwiches and they said they were good but wished they'd ordered the calzone when they saw my plate. read more

The bushwacker is where it's at people, order one and know that I speak the truth. Beautiful view, casual fare, laid back island vibe. My wife and I ate here on a Wednesday night. We sat at the bar and ordered sandwiches. She got a cheeseburger which was super tasty. I tried a bite and I think they maybe ground up some ribeye in the burger mixture. I had their Off The Wall roast beef sandwich on a wrap. It can be made on a hoagie or regular bread as well. The wrap was a good size and I took half back to the resort. We were staying at the Carambola Beach Resort right down the road. We drank bushwackers, I highly recommend you try one of these instead of desert, very tasty!! So the food was great, but the atmosphere was even better. They made you feel right at home and the locals there were happy to answer questions about local living and how they came to live on St. Croix. Lee-Anne was the bartender the first and second night we came by. On the second night when we walked in, she said, "There they are!!" Like they were waiting for us to get the party started. On the second night we had already eaten somewhere else, but we had to stop by for some bushwackers. You can get them to go as well!! read more

LOVE their pizzas!!!!! Lots of different varieties, mix and match and they even do slice pizza. My husband LOVES the cheeseburger pizza whilst I like their veggie one. Drinks are made with a Crucian pour and atmosphere is great, especially when the sun is setting. We often go here after work for a drink and bite to eat. read more

Its a mistake to call this some of the best pizza on the island. Its some of the best pizza anywhere. Ever. The Bacon Cheeseburger pizza is completely unique and beyond delicious. There was 1 server for the entire restaurant and after over an hour of waiting and feet getting attacked by red ants the food arrived...it was horrible hard crust pizza tasted like one from the frozen section, salad was so bare and cheeseburger was sub par.
