By far the worst service station I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with…read more Owner was a condescending rude pompous ass. Vehicle required 2 minor parts that retail in a parts house would have been less than $80. And should only have taken less than 2 hours to install. They quoted over 4 hours with an estimated total of $997 before tax! When questioned about the outrageous estimate the owner came out of hiding and was a complete dbag. Condescending as hell and once he was pressed to guarantee his work his response was that he wasn't comfortable working on the vehicle. To which I responded I wasn't comfortable with his shop performing a $1000 hope and poke on my vehicle. The whole time the owner just chuckled when I asked if anyone had checked the ground on the fuel pump. He insisted that that's not how things are done. Paid $124 for a diagnostic that pulled the exact same codes I provided them when I showed up. Had the vehicle towed a second time to a garage about a mile away. Even though they were about to close they didn't hesitate to check the ground on the fuel pump and once they tightened it up the vehicle popped right off. No charge. I asked the new garage what it would cost to install the two parts master tech insisted I needed and was quoted $300 parts and tax included. I would rather set me vehicle on fire and buy a new one than to ever do business with master tech again. It was painfully obvious to me that attempting to taking advantage of travelers and out of towners seems to be an essential part of their business strategy. I wouldn't even trust them to check my oil let alone change it. Buyer beware!

I had limited time to get an oil change and my usual spot was packed and was driving by and I stopped by and Rodger was so informative and attentive to all my questions. Thank you to Rodger and all the sweet gentleman that work there.

He refused to go to the place that I have been going to because apparently he has an ex girlfriend who works there. I joked and said good I'll have a chat with her next time. He didn't think I was funny. LOL. I drove here on 6/23/2023 so he could go inside to check in and tell the service manager what he needed done. I thought we could just stay in the vehicle, but apparently not. I didn't see any signs, telling us exactly what to do. We arrived at ZK Express at around 10 AM. We waited maybe at most 5 minutes as all lanes where occupied. The entire process probably didn't even take a half hour. He declined to have his air filter replaced. The rest of the bill came out to about $93. If he had issues with their work, he would have told me but he made it back to Colorado just fine. The two employees that I interacted with while we sat in the SUV were very respectful and worked efficiently. Also, this is huge for me as my "second dad" and my ex-husband both used to work in car shops: theirs is fairly clean. Not messy or trashy. I drive my brother's full-sized diesel pickup often - at least 8 times a week. He recently got a full detail cleaning on it here - ZK Express did an excellent job getting rid of dog hair, kid prints, and junk food out of the cab. No clue what he paid, but it might be worth it every few months or so. Definitely putting this place on my list.

TIP: Do not go here for the U-Haul services…read more Now for my review: Back in July '12, we reserved a 17' truck and an auto transport from this dealer. We did a walk-thru, standard procedure, with Johnny. He pointed out the damage on the truck that was driven into a guardrail the night before. He assured us that the damage was just cosmetic and they checked everything on the truck. Not so! I understand they are not an actual U-Haul facility that works on their vehicles and makes repairs, but they could have been honest with us and told us that the truck--the one that we needed--was not in proper condition. We traveled from southeastern New Mexico thinking that the hideous wind was causing our truck to pull hard on its own. We also took into consideration the auto transport with the 3,900+ lb. vehicle contributed to the difficult driving. Finally, we stop in Grants, NM to get fuel. My husband gets out and inspects all the tires and the load we were carrying. Then he gets back in the truck to turn the wheel straight. He gets out of the truck and stands in front of it. He hollers at me to stand next to him. I look at the tires immediately. The left tire is straight with the steering wheel, but the right tire is noticeably out of alignment. We were such fools not to ask Johnny about this in the first place. But was this our responsibility to check the alignment? When I filed my complaint on the phone as soon as we noticed this, U-Haul told me, "No, that is not the customer's responsibility to check the alignment. The truck should have never been issued to you under this circumstance." At that point, U-Haul suggested having roadside assistance take a look at it. They also stated that they could get us another truck at the nearest location. But if they weren't going to unload and re-pack the truck for us, then why the hell would we want to go through that? We had over 700 more miles to drive. My husband toughed it out even though it probably wasn't the safest thing to do and told U-Haul to shove off. Yeah, Johnny and his (I think) wife were nice and courteous while we were there... And yes, they went out of their way to get us this truck in just a few days notice, but for crying out loud the integrity is just not there. The U-Haul customer service reps told us that not only was that wrong of them, but our safety was in jeopardy because of their carelessness. Additionally, we knew that 6 miles to the gallon was rough, but if the alignment was the way it should have been we probably wouldn't have spent quite as much on fuel. I know there aren't many options for U-Haul equipment in Hobbs, America, but please... Don't waste your time here because they don't spend hardly any time at all ensuring the safety and proper care of their vehicles! Review #27
