Back in August we bought a used ford expedition here. Had a great experience really enjoyed Daniel. Until he made the sale and quit answering us. He told us we had warranty on the car which needed up being untrue. I was having issues with the car so I text him and called him, he ignored me. I took the car back in because my air conditioner wasn't blowing cold air, they said I just needed a coolant refill so they did that. Here I am again with no air conditioner. Michael nance and his team at Permian ford are the best! our car broke down in Lubbock covenant children's hospital after we got discharged with our new born from the nicu. had it towed to Firestone they looked at it and determined it was electrical issues and they don't work on electrical. so we had it towed to complete auto repair on 50th (complete crooks). charged us 588.71 for a diagnostic and a compression test and determined we needed a whole new engine for a grand total of $14,470. Discouraged we had it towed from Lubbock to Hobbs Permian ford they called first day got it in that there was no issues with the engine AT ALL. No signs of a previous compression test done and just needed a fuel pump,injectors, and clean the system and tank. Got our car in and out in a blink of an eye 2 days. We are beyond greatful of the time Michael nance put in and keeping us up to date every step of the way read more

I went from Carlsad to hobbs to buy a new ford ranger that they had on sale and I like the price, I took my son with me because I intended to buy the truck when I get there a young man named Manny I think asks could he help me told him what I wanted to see and he shows me then says that I needed to answer a few questions which I didn't mind but he wanted my ssn and how much I made a month and many more I answered most but thought this is stupid just to test drive and my son wanted to leave then but I told him I wanted this truck, well another man from deming I think came to help the young salesman as I almost sure I was his first customer, well we take the test drive and I say give me a good price and he tells me the best he can do 41,500. and begins to tell me that is the best that they can do how great a deal it is, well when I told him it's advertised for 39,400. his eyes get big and I showed him the sale on my phone and he goes away for a minute then returns and begins again to tell me how great a deal but it was the same thing that he said about the larger price, I looked over at my son and mouthed lets get out of here these two guys have no idea what's going on here, but I'm sure both will get better with a little time, but probably my last trip to permian ford.. I would give ZERO STARS if i could.THIS PLACCE IS A NIGHTMARE. my fiancé And I bought a car from here a month ago and to say the least they absolutely screw up every part of this deal. All the paperwork is so messed up i honestly don't even know if I bought a car lol . I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE OR PEOPLE MY BUSINESS AGAIN. theyre horrible. It took probably 9 hours to just buy the car, we found the car we liked in the first hour of being there.... paperwork has the wrong banks on it, haven't received anything in the mail for the new vehicle cause they filed so much incorrectly or just didn't do it. Can't get a title cause they didn't sign it. They can't keep up with what was done. they also don't communicate with you if they do need things from you to file paperwork..... It's an absolute shitshow at this place. No matter how much i love my car, it is not worth it!!! read more

They told me my pickup needed a new engine. I had it towed to another place and it was repaired at a cost of $600. The repeatedly would not return calls and lied to my son. My family has used Permian for many years but I will never set foot in there again and am considering other options against them. read more

My 2005 F-250 Super Duty Truck was losing a charge on the starting battery. a friend recommended that I take it to Permian Ford here in Hobbs, New Mexico and ask that the diesel technician (Robert) take a look at my truck's starting/charging system. I dropped it off at 7:30 in the morning and told Troy what my symptoms were and that I'd like Robert to take a look and let me know what he thought the issue was. Robert called me at 9:00 that morning and told me exactly what needed to be done and what it would cost me. I told him to go ahead and Permian Ford called me at 1:30 that afternoon to tell me my truck was ready. Excellent customer service !!! read more

Worst place to get any vehicle serviced. had an oil change and mechanic never put oil in the car my engine blew as it was started without oil. owner of the dealership spoke to me and according to him you don't need oil in an engine. joke of a place read more

Went to get my 1996 F-250 worked on and was told that they didn't work on anything over 10 yrs old. Say WHAT? Called Ford customer service, Was told 'Well, that's up to the dealer'. I would have to think hard about buying a Ford, again. read more

Sales with Ramon was decent, got a truck I wanted and got too the road. Had some issues with the truck but Derek, Kevin, and his team have truly done a great job at getting things fixed even though I was not in Hobbs anymore, some small hiccups but overall, would recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle in Hobbs. Good crew. Nice clean appearance as well. Good to know a company will look out for costomers even after a purchase. That's very uncommon and just shows Permian goes above and beyond. Well I don't really know where to begin. I am from Tulsa ok I have brought my truck here several times for service...I got my oil changed but glanced at my filter before I did. It had a black ring of old oil or something on it...so I assume they didn't change my filter.because that oil ring was still there when I left..I couldn't prove anything so I said well Ill catch it next time.....5500 miles later I go in for another service. However, this time I took and Allen wrench and scratched and X on my filter...after the hour long wait they say Mr Jones your truck is ready....I pay 169 dollars for the service on my 2013 f250 Desiel...witch btw is a 60,000 dollar truck...and decide I'm going to check that filter...what do ya know same filter with the X that I marked...I go inside and tell the service manager he says we aren't putting more oil in it we will just change the filter....after arguing with him for a few minutes I tell him I'm about to make a very big scene....he finally agrees to change everything....while I watch...they kept trying to get me to go to the front cashier cause they were trying to flake out on putting more oil in it....I ask to speak with the manager...I get the OWNER...Even better right?? No he tells me I set them up for failure...umm no I made sure your guys were doing there job and providing me with the service I paid for....witch they did not....they ended up changing my oil for free but the point is...I do not recommend this ford service department to anyone...if u do I will say this u better watch them change your oil or X mark your filter that way you know if it gets changed or not....cause all they did was clean mine off witch tells me that it was intentional. read more

While searching for a new vehicle, I inquired about a truck Permian Ford had for sale. I had to be persistent just to get a price for the vehicle. I was told I needed to drive to the dealership to get the price and the CarFax report. The dealership is over an hour away and while I was happy to drive over for a test drive, I wasn't making the trek until I knew if the vehicle was even in my price range. I finally decided on a new vehicle from another dealership, however since finally getting the price of the truck from Permian Ford, I have been dropped into an endless sea of emails. Daily, I receive emails offering help in my search ( I told them I already purchased elsewhere), to do my taxes (??) and other services available at Permian Ford. I sent Melissa (the salesperson assigned to me) a message that I had already purchased from another dealership and would be getting service in my town, but that I appreciated her help. The emails kept coming. Really, Permian Ford wants to do my taxes? I, again, thanked Melissa and asked her to remove me from her mailing list and text list. No such luck. Still getting those emails that although are going directly to SPAM are annoying especially after asking to be removed from Melissa's email address book. Funny thing is, they started after I finally got the price for the vehicle and told Melissa that according to my search, the used vehicle was way overpriced, and that it just wouldn't work for me. So.... ask about a vehicle, decide it's not a good fit, get unending sales emails. I wouldn't recommend this place because customer service is very important to me and high pressure sales send me running in the opposite direction. read more

Where to begin..... I purchased a used 2012 Chevy suburban from permian ford a year ago. There service was great up until the point we left the dealership in the vehicle. While we where in the process of making the deal we were told that we would be given a spare key and remote. When we went back they could not find the remote and wanted to charge us $350 for a new one. We told the manager and after about an hour he reluctantly gave us a new one. The service at the Chevy place, to get the remote programmed, was terrible. Fast forward to tonight. My wife surprised and convinced me to give permian a second chance. This time we bought a 2012 gmc sierra slt. Well guess what happened, same effin thing. We were told that we would get a second set of keys. This time they blamed the owners wife, that she was the only one with keys to the safe that held the spare keys. We surprisingly they couldn't find the keys. We'll I called the guy that sold us the truck, who claims he is the brother of the general manager. Three days later he still had not called. Frustrated I called the dealership. I asked to talk to the general manager. He never returned my calls. I finally called and ask to speak with him and to not transfer me to his voicemail. When he got on the phone he sounded like I was bothering him. He told me that only the used car manager had the authority to do anything! Really doesn't the gm have a say? I call BS on this. Needless to say I will never purchase here again. My in laws were gonna buy a new ford f350 king ranch, but after this experience I don't believe they will be purchasing this truck. And as far as recommending this place, I will recommend staying as far away as possible. Terrible customer service. read more

The salesmen, sales manager, and the financial specialist was knowledgeable, caring, and most of all friendly. It's not just the purchase but customer service is super important to me.
