I went in expecting to pay $34.40 (without tax). So I was taken aback when she said my total was $56.95. I noticed a sign on the wall that said due to increase of costs, ALL items will have $3.50 added. Okay that's a lot but everything is going up so I get it. But then when I asked for a menu to take home she wrote $3.75 on the front and said that's how much is added to each item so for me to not wonder why my total was different. Still seemed higher than it should be so I did the math and my total at $3.75 added to each item should have been $49.40 and then I added the 8.25% tax rate so new total $53.48. So I was charged an extra $3.47 on top of the additional $3.75 per item. I know it seems petty to complain but that's shady. Additionally, the food was the most greasiest Chinese food I have ever had in my life. The lady working the front was so sweet though so I gave 2 stars.

Well, for a Chinese restaurant tucked deep in a white neighborhood, Dynasty Chinese Cuisine breaks this law. Food: 5/5 From our first bite, we could tell everything was made in-house. The crispy potsticker wrapper did not taste like it came frozen from a Bibigo bag, and the egg roll filling tasted fresh. The Black Pepper Beef Skillet came out still sizzling and smoking, and the meat was tender and moist. We also ordered the BBQ Pork Chow Fun, and the noodles had a balanced smoky flavor. The meat was also tender. From our photos, you could see a hefty portion of meat in each dish. This is one of the best Chinese food I've ever had, and for the price point, this place deserves the elusive 5 out of 5. Service: 4.5/5 There appears to be one server manning the floor the majority of the time, but the owner came out to check in on patrons. Both were super friendly and attentive, chatting with us about recommendations and welcoming us to the area. The service was fast. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 This restaurant is a proper casual Chinese restaurant, and the atmosphere reflects that. We did not expect it to be as lively as it was when we came in for lunch at 1:30pm on a weekday. The noise levels and music were not offensive. And the place is incredible clean! The dining floor and bathroom looked well-maintained and clear of any debris. I would recommend this restaurant for a dinner date for one, a family meal, or takeout. Final rating: 4.5/5 (rounding up to 5 on Yelp)
