He said he could not get to the auto seat upholstery until November. I am now scrambling to find another company as the car is sold with the promise of this repair. He rolled up at my place with an enclosed trailer behind his truck, and his trusty dog along for the ride. He evaluated my boat motor's condition/performance while it was running with a temporary water supply, reassembled the water pump, and then recognized that a rubber connecting bushing at the water pump housing discharge was missing (that I did not even know was needed). As it was late afternoon, and over an hour and a half from his home, Robert gave me advice on the missing component, how to install it, and on reinstalling the lower unit. I picked up the part, installed it per Robert's advice, and the water pump worked! I was so thankful for the review posted by the gentleman with the blown head gasket, as the feeling I got from reading his review is why I called R & R. Fantastic and honest mechanic! I broke a spark plug off in my 4 stroke Honda 130 outboard engine…read moredays before we were scheduled to leave for a family vacation. The boat was essential to this trip. Desperate to fix it I called R&R on a Sunday evening with little to go on but an Internet search result. To my surprise, Robert answered my call. He sounded good on the phone, felt for me and my situation and allowed me to drop the boat off that night at his shop. By 10 the next morning he called me with the diagnostic. Water in my oil and a very seized set of threads from the old plug stuck tight in the head. Really bad news! Robert checked compression to make sure the block was good before we went further. He then pulled the head in no time and found a blown head gasket was the cause of both issues. That evening he got the old rusted plug threads out. That took serious skill and finesse! By the next day he had the parts and my engine was purring like a kitten and looked like brand new. This was a difficult job that others wouldn't have dared to touch. I'm sure many dealers would have condemned the motor as soon as they saw water in the oil, too. You can trust R & R. He's my guy for all my jobs here on out.

Again this is someone whose shirt i complimented, with whom both of us had been cordial, but could not be talked into a calm state. All of this because i leveled with him and expressed nebulously aimed frustration over a job that didn't last for the drive home, as the explanation for why i was asking for a redo. I asked him, "i mean objectively, you can understand why I would expect it to last till i reached home two miles away?". His rumination on the phrase "i felt ripped off" in response to the crashwrap beginning to peel off 0.5 miles from the facility was self-driven. That being said, why even recommend this as a temporary fix if I can't drive home with it? I would've liked it done right the first time and that's fair to express. We don't have to agree or see eye to eye and it's his right to feel I'm overly difficult. It was suggested that I should've cleaned my car first, not that they should've wiped it down the first time before applying wrap. (The car wasn't in the shop to have any crashwrap applied, so why would I have wiped it?) Ultimately I paid $104 to get an issue diagnosed and temporary tape put on the sunroof. I'm frustrated that I'm out $100 and the issue is not any closer to being fixed. The technician himself was amiable and communicative and the owner is also a pleasant man to work with. That being said this experience has burnt this spot for me. Having a disagreeable person work for you isn't a dealbreaker but maybe don't place him front of house.

Two days later, they gave me a higher price, which I did not accept, so I asked them to return my computer to me. However, it appeared that they had already dismantled my computer before even getting the necessary part. When they put it back together, they broke one of the panels. Looking at the condition of my computer afterward, it honestly looked like they had forced the hell out of my poor computer just to take it apart and put everything back together. They agreed to replace the damaged panel, but I had to wait weeks!. When I called for an update, I was told they had ordered the wrong part and would have to order it again. At that point, I completely lost confidence in their ability to properly handle my computer, so I told them to stop everything and simply give my computer back to me, even with the broken panel. To make matters worse, there was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the shop, which made the entire experience feel even more unprofessional. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I felt that my computer was handled carelessly, communication was poor, and the whole process was unnecessarily complicated. I would not recommend this repair shop.

The (faulty) sensors - short story: I went back there 3 times plus 2 times to a Subaru dealer, who said - "they did a poor job here - one sensor not working and 3 of the 4 holders crooked." This after having to pay $180 dollars for Subaru's diagnostics, and around $700 to fix it, which State Farm agreed to cover the majority while I'd pay $163 dollars. The verdict: - Great paint job (customer service too) - Headache, wasted time/gas & stress for a half-done job - Extra 850 dollars (on top of my 1k deductible) - Using my insurance again to cover their half-done job - A dusty car with overspray on the back window

I had it looked at by three different mechanics in Richmond area. All gave me a list of things that needs replaced. Each one's list was different things to be replaced. None of their suggestions sounded right to me. After looking on Yelp I found Mr. Kweleme. Mr. Kweleme replaced two of my vehicle's spark plugs and changed the engine oil and it fixed the issue. I also asked his opinion on the other things mentioned by the previous mechanics, and except one thing, everything else that was told by other mechanics was not necessary. Mr. Kweleme confirmed those parts are in good condition and explained why he thinks they need no replacement. I think Mr. Kweleme is also charges resonably. Thank you Mr. Kweleme!

I pulled over outside of Richmond, VA and checked all four tire pressures, noting one was markedly lower than the others. Upon attempting re inflation, it quickly became evident that there was a leak and a quick yelp and Google search showed that Buffalo Tire was the closest shop. Concerned due to the fact that it was after 4PM, I called and was assured they would take care of us. After a patch attempt, it became obvious that the tire was shot and we were provided a thorough and courteous explanation of our options. We ended up replacing a pair of tires, however it took until well past normal business hours to get the job done. Furthermore, the technician had to dig the wheel lock key out of the spare area in the trunk which involved unpacking part of the trunk and then returning each item! That's service! They even let us have our two small dogs in the waiting area as we had no where else to take them. These guys are top notch. Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommended.
