Brought my 2021 Ranger in for service after I called to make sure they were accepting new customers…read moreand to ensure there was no need for an appointment. The nice lady said just bring it in....So I did. When I arrived at Ed's the manager walked out looked at the boat and walked back inside. I told him I called for a service appointment and their staff told me to bring it in. The manager said they were not servicing anything they didn't sell. Frustrated with his lack of anything that remotely resembled a manager,  I gave him a few choice words and told him he needed to ensure his staff were aware and that he as the manager should communicate more effectively with his staff. He then told me to take it back to where I bought it. WTF? Hope the owner Marc gets wind of this. If this is the store policy, then put it on your damn website. Nothing like wasting someone's day. BassPro hooked me right on up! Thx BassPro for your professionalism! I told the staff at BassPro about my experience at Ed's,  they said they hear bad stuff about Ed's all the time. Wish I could give them 1/4 star or none at all. That would be more appropriate.

I ordered a 30hp Mercury outboard with a binnacle and prop from them and had it shipped to Texas…read more  I paid $900 in shipping for all of the items.  When it all made it to my installer I was told the binnacle wouldn't fit so I contacted them to return the binnacle.  I paid $500 for the binnacle and received a check for $325 for the return.  When I asked the owner Marc about it he said he charged me a restocking fee of 25% plus $50 for shipping.  I pointed out that the contract stated that re-stocking fees apply to motors and boats not parts and that I paid $900 in shipping fees.  He then tells me that he did me a favor by allowing my unopened return at all and I was charged the extra $50 because the binnacle wouldn't fit with the outboard.  This is absolutely horrible service from a company that made 1 $7100.00 sale over the phone with no price haggling on my end at at.  STAY AWAY from this place.
